It's so interesting to hear someone say "I wanted to be a Junior Heavyweight" especially from William Regal's era, where being 6'3 was like the genetic job requirement to make real money. Even though they mostly used him as a character guy in WWF/E in the late 90s/early 2000s, I don't think he would have got those opportunities if he had been a Junior back then.
Danielson had to fight twice as hard precisely BECAUSE he is a junior heavyweight to get to the top of the mountain. But he was that good, so thats why he made it.
I always love to hear Regal talk about things he loves
I have liked listening to Regal in these interviews, come across different and humble to his on screen WWE persona. Glad he's back in the WWE after being forced out it seems.
Excellent upload
From the Nicest Guy in professional wrestling!!!
That's the Truth
It's great to hear Regal speak with his northern accent in his later career. I knew it was a character, but his snobby british accent always bugged me. What a brilliant guy to watch.
He's A man . People don't listen to him. That's y wrestling is dieing
such a man!
Who is the "idiot" that he refers to, at the very end of this video (in NXT) ?
I would think he has to be referring to either Prichard or (probaby more likely- ) Johnny Ace...?
What did Jericho have to do? Politics or let Vince bend him over?
I just don't understand the hype behind Bryan Danielson can anyone explain to me what's so good about him
Because every single match he has is good, and everything he does makes sense, it looks like REAL wrestling, not the circus act mark fans call "wrestling"
@@xavierrhcp13 very valid, I'm so sick of seeing young bucks vs lucha bros
@@sLaMz1o1 oooo dont get me started on that. 7 MATCHES?!?! 🤣💀
hard hitting, fast paced, technically brilliant mastermind, and he is incredible at telling in ring stories. not just that he’s incredibly underrated on the mic, and a badass whether heel or face.
@@xavierrhcp13 Well yeah, they had to make it 7 matches so that when they handed themselves the belts, someone might believe it feels like they "earned" it.
