Love my SAM7SF. You can also get a rail from SLR Rifleworks, which is what I use....or RS Regulate which is arguably the best option. A couple extra things to touch on, is the cold hammer forged chrome lined barrel, and the stock folds to the right which allows you to keep your optic mounted at all times.

You like the trigger because it's obvious (by the shape of the trigger shoe) that you got a used one and it doesn't have the FIME trigger pack that the new one comes with. That's where the complaints about the trigger come from.
I've never tried the new kind of funny looking trigger they're putting in these lately but I can say that the old one is a sweet trigger for an AK. It's buttery smooth and surprisingly light.
It is one of the best. But QC has not been the greatest. WBP is currently the best regarding QC. They are immaculate, completely straight and sighted in out of the box. Zastava is probably second and all the samples I have seen have been excellent.
Arms of America is the importer and they are a retail seller as well. Atlantic Firearms Manufacuring does the 922r compliance. Atlantic Firearms sells retail as well. They are generally considered the best quality of any currently imported or perhaps any currently manufactured AK. If you lump IWI Galil Ace in with AKs, then they are considered excellent as far as QC as well.
WBP looks nice. Only complaint I had for mine was the side mount was out of spec and wouldn’t accept my optic mount whereas my arsenals all do as well as every other AK I’ve put the mount on. Kind of dissatisfying.
I have been saving up for a new rifle and I think I am going to buy one of these because I don't have anything in this caliber yet. I have a galil ace in 308 but I want a true AK variant. Is the 762.39 still available? I heard something about a Russian ammo ban or something like that a year or so ago.
You got a good deal on the price with all the craziness going on they’ve been price gouging on the Arsenal‘s. But, because they’re imported it’s makes the gun worth more because the imports can always slow down or stop completely and the prices of theses will skyrocket so it’s a great investment. Im an avid collector. Worlds ending i need take 3 guns. Its an Arsenal Sam7sf/ or 7r . Beretta 92/ Beretta 92 Langdon Tactical. Glock 19/ or any Glock. The only guns that have never had a single malfunction. Aks being my favorites type of firearm.. Arsenal is by far the best gauranteed. rifle dynamics, meridian defense waste of money . PSA and zastava great value but not an arsenal made out of a 100 year old military factory.

I don’t know but I can almost by two Zastava M70s for one of those and I would say they will run just as long I seen a video of jmac custom try and burn down a psa GF 5 converted to full auto think they hit 6 or 7 thousand rounds of sustained full auto fire and ran out of ammo before the GF5 stopped so I don’t know but there are plenty of options out there that will serve a person well and for the money difference you can buy a lot of ammo and mags just saying I think a lot of new gun owners watch these vids and get caught up in the gun hype but training and ammo and mags are more important than should I buy the most expensive gun out there just saying
I won’t argue with that logic! Psa makes a pretty industiucktable ak that’s for sure. Yeah to be honest, I’m not here to tell someone about buying the most expensive or whatever lol .. I just have a lot of fun with “horse trading” and I lucked into a deal for this Arsenal! $1,400 is hard to pass up for a sam7! Thankfully our hobby holds its value tremendously well! But yes.. money spent on ammo, mags, and range time will be a much more of a worthwhile self investment then buying something like this or a kac! But at the end of the day… still gotta have fun!
Yes but this will increase in value overtime, the PSA will stay the same or most likely decrease. Also, the furniture on the PSA feels like 💩, Zastava makes great ak’s but after so many rounds your have to continuously tighten the furniture due to it loosening up. Also, I really enjoy the thumb safety on the arsenal. It’s like comparing a DD vs a M&P sport. You get what you pay for.

SLR AK ION handguard. It will work with it without their gas tube.
Never could find an SF, but was able to get a new Sam7R for 1000 back in 2017.

What is the clicking between shots? Are you engaging/disengaging the safety in-between every shot?
Trigger reset. It is obnoxiously audible… I’m not sure if that’s how all ak’s are or not… kind of annoying but maybe that is the #kalishnikov way!
