    It’s a 700pss, one of the earlier versions. The HS precision stock had a DBM offering on the first ones, which is what this is.
    Scope looks to be too high since it doesn’t have an adjustable check rest.

    I'm not sure what you mean but all my Remington 700 are cock on open, not cock on closing.

      It does look stock. If so, that's best in my opinion. That old style Rem 700 DBM is better than any aftermarket available in my opinion and I've spent a few thousand on many. I finally found my THIRD factory Rem 700 with a DBM old style like that on gun broker, a stainless 25-06. It came with a McMillan stock. It's currently at a rifle builder I use to be converted to a 280 Ackley Improved with a 9 twist Brux barrel 4 groove #3. I'm a little shocked the man in the video stated he's never seen that before (if it is factory Rem 700 DBM).

    If you want to paint the wood stock you have to sand it down and spray primer on it

    Whys that barrel look so thick? Which 700 is this ?

    That DBM is factory on the mountain rifles they made in early 2000’s, not sure if they still offer that rifle or not.

    I getting a shorty 700 tactical soon. How much to do all this?

    • @NaNa-rb7ou
      @NaNa-rb7ou 4 месяца назад +5

      Dude if you want that much custom work just buy custom action, Zeus by terminus, McMillan stock bedded fiberglass, get it m24 contour or heavy Palma or medium Palma bartlein barrel 5r hand lapped bore, trigger tech trigger.

      @Catgat37 4 месяца назад +1

      @@NaNa-rb7ou I don't necessarily want that much work done, was just curious. I already have a 700 tactical in a Magpul hunter stock that is serving my purposes quite well currently. I have been having the tendency of buying multiples of the firearms I enjoy lately.

      @@Catgat37 yes variety is spice of life but don’t buy super cheap. Get some level of custom rifle atleast custom action and bartlein or krieger barrel. It will be your pride and joy. Coming some one who owns like 20 bolt rifles like me

      @Catgat37 4 месяца назад +1

      @@NaNa-rb7ou I wouldn't consider a heavy barrel Remington 700 super cheap. And I don't buy any that were produced during the bankruptcy issues. The new ones are pretty decent. I definitely don't go cheap on my handguns....except my Hi point lol.

      @Catgat37 I don't know why anyone would buy an actual remington 700 today.. remington is so cheap in their manufacturing processes and they want just as much money as competition that builds much higher quality rifles for the same price.
