I’m running the Borla S-Type Dual Side Exit on my 21 5.0L. I installed it myself. Easy install. Fit and finish are excellent. Cold starts can be brutal, quiet at speed, but aggressive when you are. Absolutely no drone anywhere on the rpm range. Provides excellent feedback and just makes my truck so much fun to drive! Pricey, but worth every penny.
I have a MBRP Installer Series Dual on my 19 5.0 which is similar to the Borla S Type but I am going to get a Resonator Delete to try to make it similar to the Borla Atak because I want those pops on the downshifts/revs!
Yeah I have Borla Atak now & I think deleting resonator helped with those pops. It’s insane now on downshifts since adding the Borla and aftermarket y pipe
Yeah I’m still running the 5 star tune. It’s been good. No issues. I’m still debating on switching or not. I’ll probably stick with 5 star. Don’t really want to switch nothing really wrong with it right now.
@@Deerslayer369 yeah I really do want to go with Oz though lol but I know I want to really do some more performance mods and just want to stick with one tuner and don’t wanna mess anything up if nothing wrong with the current tune. lol
I've searched high and low and it's always the complete setup. Let me ask you this, my dad has the black widow f150, if I was to get the whole exhaust for his 5.0 would I have to cut the cats off and do a egr delete so the check engine light won't come on?
