    I bought Carly's cookbook at Costco and love it!! This soup is the bomb, and I made it in the Instant Pot, with pre-cooked cannelini beans and farro instead of orzo.

    I make SmoothieShred style smoothies. When I have them, I add the cauliflower leaves and core into the smoothie.

    I love Carleigh and her first book! she is so sweet and so creative. I preordered her second book already. I make her double chocolate and her peanut butter nice creams on repeat and have them together. It is like a chocolate peanut butter cup! Chef AJ, your scarf is gorgeous! Where did you get it?     The "Mary me pasta" is the first recipe I found of Carleigh's . The rest is history i binge her reels. The feta pasta is my favorite even without the oil I have fed meat eaters and they loved it also. And, 2015 must have been one heck of a year lol.. So many people i know including myself went vegan in 2015. Thanks for having her on Chef AJ! Cant wait for both of your new books.

    Pickle vinegar is very acidic because of spirit vinegar. I cannot eat it and it doesn’t count as a health food. So I am positive the soup is very tasty but not healthy.
    Spirit vinegar is very good for house cleaning, amongst many uses removes plaque from kettles very quickly, is good for washing and softening clothes in washing machine and dissolved with a bit of water washes windows well. It isn’t my food. The tip for the chef - sour things should go to the pot last because they stunt veggies cooking. So, the soup would require shorter cooking if the pickle juice went at the end.

    Ozempic is known to cause thyroid cancer and they worn on the box on the front is what I’ve heard doesn’t sound good to me. Seems like it’s a shortcut that won’t end up helping but will hurt in many many ways if you don’t die from obesity, then you die from thyroid cancer. The lifestyle choices need to be addressed, and the actual work needs to happen, acceptance of decisions and change.

    I love this platform but how good do the recipes actually taste? I used the broccoli stalks recipe and it tasted weird. Also the dates after roasted practically ruined the blades of my small blender that I won't do that again. How about composting food scraps as an alternative to food waste? I've thought about doing that.

      Almost all the recipes aren’t so outwardly “scrappy”. Regular delicious plant-based food. Curious what broccoli stem recipe you tried?! ❤️

    I am saddened that her new book has recipes that uses oil. Might make a percentage of people think oils are fine for human health. Which they are not. It’s poison. EDIT: I will be getting this book though. I am glad she said that most are oil free. I loved her first book.

      You can easily research it and become expert. Those who are interested in any subject are experts, it was proven that hobbyists have the same knowledge as those who studied the subject officially. I am definitely an expert on my health, not some doctor, any yet I didn’t study it.
