      Glad overall, but be careful! He is not a critical thinker like Dr. MdDougal was.

    Well said on the berry banana issue chef AJ! REDUCTIONISM is what it is, when people in the world are starving and we are obsessing about this? I'll be eating them and enjoying them too! ❤

    There is a medical study going on and soon I can get a free blood test on LP(a)
    This study showed up on FB a few days after first hearing about it LP(a), from Dr Esselystyn and his son Rip.
    From what I gather so far is the test isn’t usually on the regular Cholesterol Panel Blood Test’s. You would have to ask for it, but you have to know about it. 😮
    Glad for all the research out there❤

    Well, I overall enjoyed the questions. Sunlight does cause cancer if it is intermittent and causes you to burn. However, it provides necessary nutrients like Vitamin D conversion to active form and also photons. I personally experienced Seasonal Affective Disorder from using sunscreen too often. Regular sunlight and get a tan. How did we know this in 1970, but not now?
    Minimize the oils that cause the oxidation reactions (sunburn)!

    I’ve used prescription retin a for over 30 years. I’m 64 years old and people think I’m in my forties! If you have the right percentage you will have no problems with it.

    I think you can freeze the bananas and that destroys the enzyme in the bananas.

      I freeze sliced bananas & eat them all the time, organic bananas taste more like frozen vanilla bon bons

    Any recommendations for those with MTHFR (homozygous) to lower Homocysteine? My Dr said my level of 9.6 was “normal”.

      I take methyl-cobalamine. Try an "active" form.

    Blows my mind how engaged Americans are with the healthcare system. In the UK my family so infrequently see medical professionals I couldn't tell you the name of anyone we deal with. What do you talk to them about?

    • @IntelligentEating
      @IntelligentEating 4 месяца назад

      It’s fairly similar. The higher level of engagement is due to insurance requirements (not a bad thing) in the same way a car needs an annual MOT it’s often a stipulation of medical insurance

    I’ve been eating plant based Whole Foods for over 50 years, and I’m so healthy that I haven’t even needed an aspirin throughout my life. There is no way that I’m going to start worrying about eating bananas and blueberries together. Sometimes I think people get desperate and look for ways to sensationalize their presentations when they’re out of options to provide something new.
