Top tip - once your at the point where you need to change from FREE to AUTO, just press the LOOP button and it will go over to the next track without having to go in & out of the menus. 👍🏻
    Great video.

Thank you so much for this video. I haven't seen anything else online setting the RC 600 up like the RC 300. Like you I was about to put the RC 600 back in the box. Are there any other settings that you could recommend that would help run the RC 600 like the 300? Much appreciated!

Great video! Wondering if you might know how to set up your stop button to tap temp AND start the rhythm (which I use as a metronome) track? On my rc300 I could tap the stop button for tap tempo and it would start the metronome sound as soon as I started tapping. I have it set up to a volume pedal to turn it down once I get the first loop recorded. But as of yet I can’t get it to do all of these things. Any suggestions?

I'm not much of a gearhead, so legit found out that there's a new Boss looper from this video. On the RC300, I wasn't able to map out the inputs and outputs the way I wanted. Have you tried mapping outputs based on where things are patched in (eg, vocal mic always outputs from the same place, regardless which loop it's in), instead of the loop based outputs that the RC300 had? I'd be pretty stoked to be able to downsize the extra mixer I've been using to get extra instruments patched.

Hi, is it possible to have different effects on each of the tracks? If so, how does it work? I myself can’t do it, tried everything, don’t understand it 😔

Ok, nice work here, but…. How can you set up the 600 so that it is not synced in stone with the length of the first loop? I am able to sync about anything on the 300, but yes the 600 is locked into the length of the first loop.
Song in question: Wichita Lineman. Ahem, a 17 bar progression.
If I start with a very basic one measure loop, then add a two measure motif, then loop the 17 bar progression every thing is groovy.
But, if I start with the two measure motif, then add the one bar rhythm loop, by the time I get to the main progression it waits a measure till it starts. Because of course 17 is not divisible by 2. Does this question make sense?
Thanks for any insight you might have.

by synced do you mean locked into the timing? You can technically set all of the loops to free length and then each loop can be a different amount of bars!

My apologies, I did not see that you had replied to this. Found myself with some more time to dig in again. Actually, I was reviewing a couple of RC 300s that I am preparing to sell, so I was again comparing the two.
Actually, I am finding setting all of the tracks to “free“ does not in fact, give you the option of different lengths per track. Well maybe if they’re divisible by two? My two measure on one track, 17 bar on another is still unattainable at the moment 😂

Rc 300 has memory tempo up/down with expression pedal.. on rc 600 you can do the same when you press "tap tempo" and then turn up/down memory knob.. but can not do with an expression pedal, or CTRL, or something like that.. is there a solution, maybe?

Hi! I wanted to transfer my Wav tracks from my RC300 (44.1// 16bits) to my RC600 and it doesn't play them. Do you know what I can do about it?
    Thank you !

What's the purpose of using the RC-600 if you simply want to use it like the RC- 300? What improvements or benefits does it have that you find useful? Thank you

Great question - The feature of having 6 different loops is my personal favorite. I can use the first three at fixed lengths and then loop on the second page with free length so they can be longer harmony parts, or if my timing is good enough - I can do a shorter percussion part!
Overall, the loop experience on the rc300 was amazing, and I was sorta let down with the rc600 at first. Doing this made it easier for me to start branching out and trying the new features!
(Also - to note, the guitar to bass feature is far superior than any other boss octave pedal I've tried... It's fantastic.)

I own this Looper and I hate it. I would read reviews on seller sites like Guitar Center or musicians friend. This looper does some cool stuff, but it also crashes often and sometimes randomly changes tempo mid songs. If you play in front of an audience it will embarrass you and make you look like your not professional. I have wasted so much time and money trying to make this POS work correctly.
I wish I never sold my old looper. It had less lights and buzzers, but it worked and was dependable.
I am starting to think that there just isn't enough processing power in this device and no firmware update is gonna fix what never worked. I feel cheated out of my money.
