- This week, it's my favorite death metal band of all time, Intestine Baalism. They play death metal that's melodic, but not melodic death metal, if that makes sense. I never see people talk about 'em, so hopefully this builds some awareness!

Blasphemy Resurrected into A Place Their Gods Left Behind is the best transition in all of metal
Dude these videos are awesome you deserve many more than views than you get. You're miles above the majority of metal youtubers
I consider these guys and Arghoslent the kings of melodic death metal. Excellent video.
Fuuuuuuck, that transition between Blasphemy resurrected and A place their gods left behind is too damn good
I like the "Castlevania-core" description of it lol. Some of their stuff reminds me a lot of Michiru Yamane (especially the track Cry for the Black Sun off Ultimate Instinct). Perhaps that's one reason I like them so much.
Recently listened to their "An Anatomy of the Beast". Easily in my top 5 death metal albums.
I know this video is a year old, but just noticed it on my recommendation, I never heard of this band but now I’m hooked! Right now I own “an Anatomy of the Beast” , definitely gonna check out their other albums ! 😎🔥
Great job man..... I feel as though you are playing bands from my collection . Keep up the excellent work .
You're the perfect metal channel. My favorite band of all time
Such a beautiful album, great review
Another awesome episode, you've read my mind, I was hoping you'd do a review of this band. Ultimate Instinct is my favorite from them, Agony in the Stone Chamber and Longing For Birth in particular \../
This band is very good. Never got into them but they are good. I should get into them. This is amazing.
I first ran across the name Intestine Baalism in the thank-you notes of a Sabbat CD back in the 90s (Karisma, I believe), and it took me many years to track down their first album. Japanese bands have always displayed an affection for old-school heavy metal, which if you're going to reference anything in your music, it might as well be that!
I know this is an older episode but I wanna say that your channel is an absolute gem when it comes to music and entertainment many of your videos have helped me greatly when it comes to song writing. Is there a way to contact you personally, like through email and stuff? And oh yeah IB is definitely one of my favotite death metal bands, they remind me Dismember and Vader but sad and emotional.
2 Guitars/vocalist..think you missed that if I'm not mistaken its 2 vocalist that play guitar. And its melodic death. Love this band, thanks for the video. Grew up with them around your age too..skateboarding to this was my outlet.
Those guys rule. About the Malmsteen influence, me and a friend always joke about how he's seen as a god in Japan. When some japanese tourists took a picture of him I joked that they probably just thought that he was Malmsteen and got all excited.
I was introduced to Intestine Baalism by Wyattxhim and holy shit I was instantly hooked. Those guys are incredible and I can totally understand why their masterpieces shouldn't be called melodic death metal even though they're melodic af.
Intestine Baalism are great 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Super Esoteric and Uber okkvlt. Let me know what you think.
Wheres the bus??
