  • Sorry I'm just stuck on Dutch death metal lately. Should I do a Sinister episode too? Anyways, Gorefest are great. One of the first death metal bands I ever heard and they've always stuck with me. I have some rather unorthodox hot takes on their discography though...
    I do some podcasts...
This one is pretty famous, and it's got good jokes:
    hatebus.libsyn...
This one is up-and-coming, and it also has good jokes:
    audio.nobodyha...
Also it's got a live stream, usually on Fridays so come say hi:
    dlive.tv/RB_88
    This one is about metal:
    audio.nobodyha...
It also has a live stream, usually on Fridays or Saturdays:

This was great, Gorefest is one of my favorite DM bands and it’s cool to hear this deep dive. GF tends to get lost in the sauce and forgotten about.
I honestly enjoy all the eras

I swear you're my favorite metal youtuber! Super knowledgeable, actually dissect the composition and have a varied taste! Great shit

Those early vocals were really satisfying, he must have blown his vocal chords out at some point. Or maybe blown something else HAHAHAHAHA (I kid.) Good stuff, I didn't really listen to much of their second album because I thought with the kind of lyrical content it might end up cringe, but it sounds pretty great from the snipets in the vid. I'll go back and listen to it more thoroughly.

Yeah the lyrics aren't amazing especially compared to how great van Drunen's lyrics are, but the music kicks butt

That second album sounds great, but the vocals on the third.... Not digging too much, but I will give a chance. Thanks Jiubu

Yeah it took a bit to click for me as well, probably one of the stranger albums I'm into

The live album for that show is spectacular, one of the few death metal live albums I like a lot

I'm going on my friend's livestream to talk about melodic black metal in a little bit, it's the last link in the description up there.

8:32 Ok now I'm imagining Nostalgia Critic reviewing TGSNT, and AVGN making a video about the Angry Goy series. This needs to happen!

Goddamn. I'm doing my occasional RFI binge watch, and I've had almost all of my likes removed. You would be in a much higher place 'analytically' if it weren't for this cultural subversion. Cheers.

Really like their demos but the cover art of everything after always gave off a slightly gay vibe to me so I've avoided them except mindloss, but the demos are better than that anyways

    B standard 6 or 7 string?

    • @radiofreeinnsmouth1337
      @radiofreeinnsmouth1337  3 года назад

I mean, I'd rather use a six string just because I assume it gets weird trying to do larger chords with a seven string. I usually only go down to C sharp standard though cause I like it to have some bite in the triplets.
