Hey dude. Luthier here. Just wanted to address something you said about stainless steel frets. It does cost more. The fret wire itself is a little bit pricier but the labor is what really jacks the price. Since the material is tougher it takes more time to level and round/smooth the ends. At a factory, time is money so it does go towards the overall cost of the upgrade. Please keep up the good work. I love your channel and frequently watch it while I’m fretting guitars. Love you man.
I don't like 24 frets on guitars due to the neck pickup's 24 fret reposition. Basically you gotta move the neck pickup a bit closer to the bridge to accommodate for the longer fretboard. Imo it ruins the sound i love from a neck pup (single coil player here) :'D If i get a 24 fret, i might as well go bridge pup only B)))
I recently brought back to life an old 2003 "Lag AK 100" (the old one with the reverse headstock, paid 80€!!) fully cleaned until the last little screw, and repainted Teal Blue-ish with Black Tiger Stripe, and it looks killer !! And that guitar plays very nice !! I like it!! "Lag" used to make so nice and cool guitars during the 80's and 90's. As a French guy, I want to get all the old "Lag" I can find now!!

What would you do if you weren‘t a youtuber? In Germany the correct answer can only be: „Bürgergeldempfänger“ 😉
What is the pickup in the crackle Jackson kelly at the start of the video you're asked about?
Brandon Ellis (TBDM) signature.
@@sixstringtv1 thanks, they sound interesting and I'm going to check them out 👍
Currently learning Deutsch! You are lucky to be fluent in both english and german
You've lost the dream...you want to tour with Steel Pantser for obvious reasons of obvious reasons.

Agreed lag guitars needs to make electrics again! Love to see the star line, hotline, and arkane series return.
Hey, that’s that KDH dude
SS frets are more difficult to work with bc SS is harder than nickel.
That's what they tell you, to up the price. It's all done with powered tools.
@@NeungView and if those tools are designed for nickel, cutting and bending steel may wear at the tools faster
