Good on both you and D'addarrio. You for being willing to be wrong and D'addarrio for having the confidence in their product to take a risk that, despite their best efforts, you might not like their product.
Saw the title and instantly thought "well, this for sure is not the Aeroguitar" - and I was right. If you just take a look at the construction of the XPND it's obvious that it will be able to take quite a beating.
I was pleasantly surprised by these as well, Kaylen. I was afraid it would fall apart. Nope, these are pretty good. The $10 pedal didnt make it on the main board! lol
another issue with the bag for me (on the bigger model) is that it's designed to fit the board when it's fully expanded. obviously, i know that's necessary, but it makes carrying it around kind of a hassle for me. I usually have it un-expanded and it can be really annoying to carry on the shoulder strap, especially when i'm walking and it keeps bumping into my leg and my bass gigbag. The bag is really well made (it'd better be, for that price) but there just doesn't seem to be a way to design a softcase you can expand without sacrificing pretty much all of the functionality and protection it offers.
I bought one without doing my research and wasnt disapointed in the least. The quality of the materials is outstanding. Its the only board ill ever need.
Small little detail, its "Daddario" not "Diaddario". Anyways, i would like a collapsible Pedalboard. Like a outwards folding one. Never seen one of those, sadly :(
My skepticism of the D’addario board is how do you transport it safely? Does it come with a hardcase or gig bag etc and if so, it would need to be the size of the board at its largest otherwise it would move about in said case. It is also not ideal the mount anything (power supply, cables, etc) underneath the extension part of the board due to its slide-out design!
@@sixstringtv1 Yeah I guess the only options are: Transport the board at its largest or travel small and reassemble the larger board each time. Either way, a bit of a compromise due to its design.
D'Addario makes good products i use there cleaning and fretboard oil products and they work great not a fan of there strings I use DR drop tune strings but there strings winders ,cleaning stuff, and even tuner are great
I've never thought about it until now but I don't think I've ever heard a story of anyone's pedalboard breaking. Is that a situation that actually happens?

One big sign of someone being a real man is being able to admit being wrong. Good on you mate. Love your channel.

Wow, I was literally looking into the D’addario board recently. What great timing.

i whole heartedly thought the chair ad was a parody, that was so out of left field
those do look good tho
How do you think I felt getting that email proposal lmao. But they really have changed my life, 50% if my work is done while sitting in them
Man those seats look great
Great review. It does not come with standard cable ties but there are plastic clips that snap in between the rails for cable management.
Those are indeed a bit more useful than I thought they'd be hahah
Great video and I'm glad you did this and took being wrong with grace!

The seat segment at the end was pretty funny
I've been curious about these boards since they were announced, thanks for the honest video!
I had the same thought about the xpand board when i first saw it too.
Ngl the chair ad was the best part
Xpand board.... Yeah cool, Valencia Theater Seats.... OMG PURE LUXURY!
Your recliner review made my week.
This is the best ad they could ever get. I am not a pedal guy, but I'd look into it if I was.
Hah, grats on the chair sponsorship. Looks comfy.
I have 2 of the smaller ones. Rock solid, and I'm a hefty fella.
That pedalboard is nice but I’d rather get that hair care routine. Drop them details and products, brother. I need it with my hair 😂😂😂😂
before the board break I think your pedal gonna break first with that stomping 😆
“Because I had kitchen nightmares on in the background”
Relatable
I rediscover those full episodes on RUclips like once a year and watch about six in a day until I get bored of it
connoisseur of luxury items? Unfortunately im too poor for that 😂
I really wish these use Dual lock instead of regular Velcro.
Now it's time for you to make amends for besmirching the good name of the string stretcha.
I love that board! My only complaint is the gig bag for that board sells for the same price as the board itself...

Damn, I oughta start a RUclips channel. Not for the ad revenue, but for the free seating.
Holy shit!!!! Each RUclipsr who test it didn’t mention that you have to assemble it…
Hahah yeah it'd be quite a bit more difficult to ship fully assembled
New video, lets go

That would have a hinge, which would 100% snap in half lmao

I got a gig bag the size of the fully expanded board, not sure what that costs though

I'm just here for the Theater Seating ad....
Peak of the video to be fair
D'Addario makes good products i use there cleaning and fretboard oil products and they work great not a fan of there strings I use DR drop tune strings but there strings winders ,cleaning stuff, and even tuner are great
Were pedals harmed while shooting this video?
Surprisingly, no
Proving you wrong is easy, finding a great board is getting easier thanks to the xpnd 2 !
Why was i expecting a “disrespect your surroundings “ style torture test at the end?
I've never thought about it until now but I don't think I've ever heard a story of anyone's pedalboard breaking. Is that a situation that actually happens?
Not unless it has moving parts, that's why I was skeptical about this
Lmfao! Rip it to shreds lol!
Maybe you shouldn't be stomping on the pedals. You can just gently press the button with your foot.
Right, that's why they literally call them "stompboxes"
I'll remember that the next time I change out the nut on my guitar and use an actual nut. Maybe a cashew? @@sixstringtv1
Giving in to Big Chair and all of their lucrative seat money. Pshhh. You’re a sellout 😂 jk thanks for the video
$3000 theater seats? LOL
Ha!
❤❤❤
That shirt, we need to know where it came from. Cough up the source.

Ok
Whaaat...people still use individual fx pedals in today's world of modern compact multi-fx processors?! GTFO!!

Your floor isnt book matched and it bothers me..... j/k. Maybe.
it's D'Addario, not D.Addario
Don't go off into the furniture business, i kinda like watching your guitar content.
