i have no idea how i ever perfectly cleared every level in this game it's so hard oh yeah also you can hold shift to see your drawing without having to enter drawing mode, which is good for moments like 9:14, and you can hold ctrl while hovering over a tile to highlight its neighbors, which is useful for later bonus levels where the shapes get really weird
Don’t ask me why… but hearing Tyler say “Mine” over and over is kinda funny to me… anyone else agree with me?…. It might be because I think of that Nemo meme… the one with the seagulls that say “MINE MINE MINE” 😂🤣
Can't wait till Tyler gets to level 54: Series of Tubes. Figuring out how to do that one opens up the rest of the game. Then again, maybe he already knows the technique since he's more experienced with minesweeper. Either way, looking forward to it. Edit: Don't think he knows it yet. Or at least, not at the time of the recording this video. There's an easier way to solve stingray, the last puzzle in this video.
What is the strategy? I’m deep into this game, but I hadn’t tackled Stingray until a couple of days ago, and I still had trouble with it, so I don’t think I know this technique you’re talking about
@@Icysnowman256 I realized yesterday that I mistyped. The strategy mostly helps with the puzzle's opening. Look at the available three, then move upwards. There is at least one mine above the three. Therefore, because of the two above the three, there is at most one mine above the two. Now look even higher. Since there is at most one mine below the next two, there is at least one mine ABOVE it. And since there is at least one mine above that two, you've got your opening, since that completes the one. And now you can go back down. Exactly one mine, below the one, therefore exactly one mine below the two, therefore exactly TWO mines beneath the three. This is the strategy in a nutshell. There is at least one mine on one side of the two, therefore at most one mine on the other side. When you have a series of twos enclosed by a one and a three, this usually works. But it has to be in a tube-like structure if you're dealing with normal minesweeper or hexcell puzzles. With stingray, it takes a bit of time to realize the strategy still applies.
I changed the settings for the game to make numbers count down with every placed mine (so if I have a 4 and I place a mine next to it, it goes down to 3). I'm having a blast ever since, it reduces cognitive load so much.
Your cells can explode from having too much water. It’s called being “hypotonic”, and animal cells are more susceptible to it than plant cells because plants have a cell wall that can help support the bloated cell structure.
I bought Tametsi to play from watching your videos. Gotta say I love the whacky and weird ones so much more than just the challenging “minesweeper” puzzles that are in the game.
let me just say tyler, i haven't watched the inscryption videos because i have been playing the game and i can't wait to be able to watch them. these past videos have been great!
Since Tyler started posting Inscryption, I got the game and finished about 100 levels, even though I had to skip some. Also, you might do it from personal preference, but the numbers counting down when you put a mine option from the menu is a really nice feature, makes the game easier to understand for the viewers and helps make some annoying levels easier.
Something i found very helpful for the more difficult levels (Stingray being the first of them for me) is to locate a marked cell that have a number of neighbours of which either exactly one is a mine, or exactly one is a non-mine, and then suppose that one of them is it (using white x as denoting starting mine, white dot as denoting starting non-mine, with black x's and dots as 'subsequent consequences') and follow the logic if it's a contradiction. For an example, for Stingray i started with the one's in the top left corner and 'supposed' that one of them were a mine, proved that it was impossible, and by way of contradiction proved that they then were non-mines
Doesn't work everytime. Sometimes in later levels when you use this strat you could get both mine/non-mine combinations not having any contradiction or shared mines/non-mines, and even though one of the combinations might reveal half of the map it's still possible for it to be wrong. Note that what I said is assuming there is one mine and one non-mine but generally works the same with 3 mines/non-mines.
By the way, you can overlay what you draw onto the playing field by holding down shift. Oh and, you can highlight the neighbors of a cell using control. It can be changed in the launcher of the game.
Always when i watch you playing this game, I wonder what is going on in your brain you are way to fast and way to good - I never could do it that fast.
i end up giving up on a lot of levels and just taking a shot in the dark because there always gets to be a point where i dont know what could possibly be the next hint. it's even worse in levels with a lot of information (like tmi and its bonuses, unsurprisingly)
He hasn't streamed in quite a while so that's probably why there's no more potion craft atm. He could also just be burnt out from all the complex potions you need for the alchemy machine and taking a break from it.
It's at least pretty standard in sudokus. It's used in math puzzles too. I think it's acceptable because the game does say guessing isn't necessary, but that's implied in pretty much every logic puzzle

omg i perfect cleared every level too, it’s really cool to meet other tametsi enthusiasts!
Oh dang! That would have been useful to know for the sunrise puzzle. Wasn't sure what's connected or not
“I will see you all in the next episode of timetsi...” and we never heard from him again
These daily uplaods are the best.
I love listening to the weird puzzle man say numbers for a long time, it's soothing and math
Love the tametsi episodes! Can't wait to see how Tyler mulls over some of the harder bonus levels!
Also woo for proof by contradiction
Got my Chinese food, it's raining, Tyler uploaded, life is good.
I approve of the Stingray level, truly a great idea for a level. I love your videos and I hope you have a great day.
Keep posting and never change.
hi stingingray
Don’t ask me why… but hearing Tyler say “Mine” over and over is kinda funny to me… anyone else agree with me?…. It might be because I think of that Nemo meme… the one with the seagulls that say “MINE MINE MINE” 😂🤣
Sir you have ruined the video for me😂

It took me a while to figure out how to do that one, I don't think I could have beaten the rest of the game without understanding that level

Holy shit that first proof on stingray was godly
my brain hurts so much.
Tyler is a great minesweeper "teacher" that i now just ACED hexcellls
I just recently bought Tametsi! Excited to see you do amazing!
The Inscryption Saga was greatly loved but I am glad to see this game again
I hate the fact that this isn’t inscription and that your down with that game for now, such a good time watching it
Well he beat it so theirs nothing he could do

Every time Tyler says Mine, drink water... 100% chance of drowning 😅
Every time Tyler says Mine, drink a bottle of vodka xD
Every time Tyler says mine stap yourself... 100%death rate
Drowning in yourself??

"next episode of tametsi" and there are no more in the last eight months :(
This video reminded me of cracking the cryptic and now I just wanna see Tyler play sudoku
I think Tyler has exactly 1 video of him playing sudoku
I'd love to see them collab on something
Me throughout this was, "WHAT THE FUCK!!??" Keep up the good work my guy. Love watching your videos
I like watching you process the information your given and come out with the proofs that solve these puzzles. Awesome work.
Watching you play this got me really interested in minesweeper and now the rules don’t seem so complicated now.
I bought Tametsi to play from watching your videos. Gotta say I love the whacky and weird ones so much more than just the challenging “minesweeper” puzzles that are in the game.
when you have to do a formal mathematical proof to solve a minesweeper puzzle

T: "mine, mine, mine...."
Me: Mine precious
Take a shot everytime Tyler says “mine.”
Proof by contradiction by exhaustion? I'm glad you kept it simple 😂
I want to concurs, the daily uploads are goat. Please don’t stop
I can’t keep up with his insane processing speed but you better believe I’ll never miss a daily upload.
RUclips Tyler is extra smart
Day 14 of having a good time watching tyler, any time tyler plays a minesweeper game i always get lost even with him explaining what he is doing
Yes I love watching you play this, it's mesmerizing
I love these videos. They allow me to play a drinking game that's at my calaber.
any more tamets? or are you banishing tametsi to the shadow realm
can’t wait for you to reach the last gridlock! think it’s 93 or so. not incredibly long but has some of the most ingenious logic in its construction!
let me just say tyler, i haven't watched the inscryption videos because i have been playing the game and i can't wait to be able to watch them. these past videos have been great!

The start o' that stingray puzzle was a fucking wild ride.
That stingray opening is insane
Just listening to your explanation makes me feel smarter
I think the logic at 5:10 was slightly edited out. Tyler's logic works because the third mine must be in the upper right, shared by the 3 and the 1.
Such a shame inscyption has been finished please do a play through of the other areas.
There are no other areas of incryption: no matter who you choose to replace in part 2, P03 takes over anyways
@@knakrackiv thats kinda crazy

It’s been so long with inscryption that i’ve forgotten about tametsi
That last puzzle, Tyler went into several side lines just for shits and giggles.
Will we ever see chess back plz?
Jeez, Tyler pulling up with massive brain explanations again
did anyone notice in the stingray tyler over complicated it, all was needed to see was the 1,2,2,3 pattern in the diamonds
I like watching him because I can get one right faster than him and pretend that I am smart
what the heck happened at 13:00 with the numbers, why were they changing
edit: it only happens at 360p, this is bizarre
“Jellyfish”
Great lookin jellyfish 😉😳
this is awesome!
This game is so cool!!
my brainn cant handle this much information
I like your funny words magic man
Wow I love jellyfish. My friends and I used to draw them all the time in middle school 8=D
not my favorite but its hard to follow up on such a banger like inscryption
Commenting at 9:45, anyone getting a flashback to "Finding Nemo", the seagulls "MINE MINE MINE" scene? Or is it just me?
Was expecting another pony island video, but this works too, seems like a neat game.
How could you *possibly* have fun with a jellyfish?
Stingray is where things got hard for me
If you hold shift you can see your drawings while you can still click on the cells
Omg bro on the stingray please see that you know where 4/6 mines are in the blues 🥺 I was screaming
Always when i watch you playing this game, I wonder what is going on in your brain you are way to fast and way to good - I never could do it that fast.
That thumbnail is sus
Is it bad I heard the kind of ambient hum and immediately though of the trapper’s theme?
Cool jellyfish
It’s so hard to count, so I have to go slower. Don’t even worry, now I can follow the gameplay and mindset
Soon we're going to have to finish a PhD to solve a puzzle
Ah yes, the strongest shape
that was impressive;

Sure... "jellyfish" definitely...
It's not just the jellyfish, all of these levels have somewhat questionable layout it seems...
Fun fact: the Stingray has 69 octagons.
Yeah... looks like a jellyfish...

Am I the only one, who thinks that using the fact, that the puzzle must be solvable, does not sound like a legal solution tactic?
It's at least pretty standard in sudokus. It's used in math puzzles too. I think it's acceptable because the game does say guessing isn't necessary, but that's implied in pretty much every logic puzzle
I love it actually, though i havent used it in tametsi so far
