I don't feel comfortable calling myself straight because I kinda just in the back of my head feel like a fraud because I'm not a "real girl" (even if it's stupid) but gay feels wrong as well because I'm not a man and no gay man would be attracted to me so idk what to call myself. Agree though - we NEED straight cis people to accept us. If we just shit on them because the have it easier why would they help us?!
I 100% agree with everything you said in this video sis, we’re always talking about how much we want to be accepted, yet we’re the first to invalidate and show disrespect to each other. 🙄
I went to pride about two weeks ago and I was worried because my boyfriend is bisexual and I'm pan but we were a straight couple and I was scared that we might get looks or stuff like that ? But I'm glad to say that it went well and that I had the time of life (it was my first time going to pride by the way)
As a bisexual man, this video is the absolute reason why I fully support taking the "B" out of glbt. Gay and lesbians are just as bigoted and discriminatory against the bisexual and trans community as they say the Christians are towards them. I strongly believe we should take the "B" and the "T" out of glbt!
Well i‘m mostly in favour of your opinion but I think we all shouldn’t be against straight cis people being at the pride 😮 i mean who cares? It’s just in our favour as you said. It’s a nice thing seeing heterosexual cis people standing up for our rights ♥️ i totally agree with you if you meant that ♥️
There has often been gatekeeping at pride. Trans people weren't always allowed to march in pride parades. We often had to have our own parades. It wasn't that long ago. I read articles from 2010 about trans people being banned from some parades. There are still some that insist on calling it gay pride, not just pride. There is still a fair amount of trans and biphobia in the gay and lesbian communities.
With all due respect I think your wrong, there are radical people that hate people who are straight and gay people who dislike people like yourself, they for some twisted reason think your some kind of "sellout" or "traitor". Just my opinion but I think the straight community is more and more accepting all the time even including those who are religious while many in the LGBTQ community are actually getting less accepting of alternate viewpoints or lifestyles. PS I am glad things are going so well for you, your channel is great and your adorable, your enthusiasm for life just shines through.
people who are part of a minority group who experience first hand the profound pain and suffering of discrimination but then somehow feel the need to discriminate against another minority group to cause them that same exact anguish and pain - that's the most crazy, disturbing thing of all
When you think you see a cishet couple, what you're really seeing could be anything. Maybe one or both of them are trans people living stealth, or nonbinary trans people, or agender people, and their sexual orientations could be anything as well. Not judging people on appearances is like the most important thing ever. We evolved to make snap judgements, unlearning it takes a bit of work, but that's no excuse not to do it.
Hey gage, I’m trying to say to my parents that I really feel as a girl, to show them my boyfriend... but I’m really scared about how they are reacting, can you give me some tips about getting out and how to tell my parents about it?
I agree that we should be finding this common ground. Thing is, those who tries to find that get attacked from both sides because they are not willing to open up their minds. I get that being right feels good, but this society has been so forged in A vs. B.
Yes girl! You tell them! 💕
Thank you I do appreciate it and feel better informed and educated. Gage you explain things perfectly perfectly .
I fully agree! How can we expect others to be accepting of us, when we can't accept others?

A trans woman of color gave us pride! Don’t be afraid to wear the trans flag as a cape bc trans women of color are freakin superheroes💖
Yes hunnie! ❤️

I agree Gage it’s so frustrating that people don’t want straight people not to go to pride!

You would think that they would want everyone to be there. I thought one the things about Pride week was acceptance.
I agree with you!
Can I just say you are a gorgeous woman, wow you're a beautiful girl. I really hate gatekeeping, hold your flag high ♥️🧡💛💚💙💜
Im sorry to hear that

Pride month is already off to a bad start bc of people trying to say that ace people aren't apart of the community 🙃
