Hi West, I just started using the Pro Tool First, glad that I found you. Before this, I faced some problems and tried to uninstall & reinstall a few times, I reinstalled PTF this time round, I tried to create file but unable to, the system keep prompting me to upgrade to a Pro version, I then realized PTF kept my previous files even after I uninstalled the software. I wish to delete the previous file I created to begin a new, can you show me how?

i just downloaded the free version of protools in Windows (super beginner) and when i click new track and record, there are no horizontal bars for each track indicating things are playing. not sure if it is because it is the free version or do not have a mac like you but unbelievably frustrating.

Do you know why my interface isn’t popping up on the input part? I have an older Mbox but the newest pro tools. I can hear the beat thru my headphones that are plugged into the AI. But the interface doesn’t show up. Please help haha
Sounds like a problem with the driver. I would definitely reinstall the driver and restart the computer it should fix it.
@@Nimbushaze by driver you mean the Mbox avid software right?
@@rizzytru8736 yes the software that is needed just for the mbox to work
When record in pro tools it gives me robotic or kind crackly sound while other daws gives good nice audio pls reply
It probably has to do with your audio device settings or sample rate.. try to match the settings to the exact same settings of your DAW that works perfectly

I did everything bro but no sound still
I can not hear myself meanwhile talking. Everything is set up correctly, i can record it, and when i play it back i can hear what i recorded. The only problem is that i want to hear myself realtime. What do you suggest?
If it plays back then it must be audible during recording. Maybe it’s low volume? Or maybe you can’t tell the difference between the voice from headphones and your actual voice when they’re happening at the same time?
@@Nimbushaze i can surely tell, becsuse i use fl studio for like 4-5 years, and there i can hear myself, and i notice the difference between headphones and real talking. It is not the volume either. For some reason it just does not play back realtime, even when my input is on mono 1 (my mic) and oitput is on the correct output. I hear everything, my mic is working but there is nothing i can hear. I could show you in discord stream maybe sometimes.

Where do you even get beats from? How do you get them?
From RUclips, for example just search something like “Trippie Redd Type Beat” play through them and download the ones you like using a RUclips to MP3 converter website
@@Nimbushaze and say I downloaded a song but the artist is singing in it, would there be any way to completely remove the singing from the downloaded songs in protools? Than you in advance :)
@@erikacervantes4489 no there is no way to do that sadly
You can chop off the part of the beat with the singing but you can’t remove the vocals OFF the beat

@@Nimbushaze it says it’s not supported does it have to be a wave
@@whothisbuddhist it does have to be a wav but the method I talked about automatically converts for you... another way to do it is go to file>import audio> find the beat and select it then click convert and it will work. This way you don’t have to download only “wav” files or convert them somewhere else. Pro tools is able to do that for you
