However as a patient with both GCA and PMR, I would just add that I think you’ve somewhat underestimated the debilitating effects of ongoing pain, stiffness, and worry about vision loss. Not to mention the constant effort to reduce steroids….I’m three years in and still on 7mg as I flare badly on anything less. Just adding a patient’s perspective 😊
@@agvision09 the out of breathe went away it might of been the candida in my lungs but now that it's summer my PMR is at it's worst but I think I have a mild case. Weird. A doctor tried high dose Prednisone but I felt horrible with the first dose so I stopped.b. My sedimentation rate was 44. I just take only 1 Excedrin now. But it works best if I don't take it every day. I must stay out of the sun

The muscle weakness is worse Its debilitating, Ive even felt my chest muscles weak like i couldn't breathe
