- We didn't have to look far to test the limits of the big AT on this ride, after more rain the trails were extremely slick. We got turned around by impassable obstacles a few times but found some detours to keep the ride going. New team rider Matt has a few cracks at Big Purple. Great day with all the usual hills, thrills & spills.

Mick constantly shows you that most all of the limitations are with the rider, not the machine. So impressive. I'm glad I found this channel. It's a ton of fun to watch.

Same as you I have awesome riding at my back yard and have been doing that most weekends for the last ten years with my son. I’ve watched and am subscribed to some good do what you do sites but hey..... you guys rock. You are the real deal and epitomise what life is about. Your site is so relatable to us passionate followers. What I love is we get warts and all, go hard fella’s and may the force be with you. As I speak there is a ship coming from Japan with Kiwilands first shipment of 2019 Africa Twins and mine is the only black one coming into the country. But ‘jeeze’... I’v got another 5 or 6 weeks wait and its killing me lol. I can see it covered from head to toe in red mud ...'sigh'

Did not disappoint... took my AT to the Welsh rally stage last weekend - all the other bikes were enduros. AT can hold its own, but you have to carry momentum into climbs because of the weight, which makes it frightening. It's also like riding a hippo on ice skates in slippery mud, but fun trying to challenge yourself - mad respect to Mick for making it look piss easy when it fucking isn't... plus I was the only person who could jump on their bike and ride it at 100mph down the motorway for 3 hours in complete comfort to get home. It's all compromise. AT for the win!

It gets crazy slippery out there in the wet, Mick does an awesome job on that Africa Twin.

You really can't fully appreciate what that guy is doing with the Africa Twin unless you own one and have tried taking it off road yourself as well, amazing riding skills. Also what exhaust is he running on that AT, that thing sounds awesome!

Thats just another top video from you guys... watched it back to back... lol. i just bought the 2019 Africa Twin adventure sports... took it just on.... a dirt road... lol.. ok it was a little slippery. thats about it... fuck me... i dont know how Mad Mick does it... I am in awe Mick.. i need alot more dirt time... seeing your front guard fill up.. i already have the lifted guard replacement option on order... Thank Josh, thanks Mick and Mad Matt.. i get motivated to ride after every one of your videos.. Its a wet and slick and muddy as hell down here in Vic everywhere we go this time of year.. You know I'm starting to realise just how much effort it would take to ride the AT like that, on these rides I get pretty buggered just wrangling the 500 through this stuff but here's Mick complaining he's unfit after doing the same on a 250kg monstrosity! Amazing. PS yeah getting a bit over the slip'n'slide conditions, looking forward to some good old fashioned dust!

Please please please - make a short 5 min interview with him, to tell about his Africa Twin some more info: any modifications he made, how many miles on the clock, did he have any issues with bike by riding it hard...

Please, have Mick do a whole video on how to ride the Africa twin like a pro. I have an AT and I know first hand, despite him making it look easy, riding an AT like a 500cc dirt bike on the trails is not easy at all!
