- Juddy the maddog & Hopper the Kawasaki KLR650 join me for a ride that turns into quite the eventful day. Plenty of hills, thrills, and spills on this trip. Can the KLR with road tyres keep up with a Tenere 700 with knobbies? A big task but Juddy takes it all in his stride. An awesome day out on the adventure bikes, with a few frosty beers and a decent cook up at a mint camping spot at the end of the ride to top it off perfectly. Life's too short to be miserable, you fall off the horse you get back on, it was a reasonably soft off anywyas, plenty of padding and I didn't once have to lift that heavy mongrel of a bike once on my own, made a big difference to the spring in my step.. 😊👍
I actually had tears coming out and lost my voice. Best yet! Frickin hilarious! Getting up to the camping spot…. Couldn’t have scripted that, if you’d tried 😅🤣👌🏻💯.

I didn't think it was fu. At the time Kaz, all I could think of was wrapping my lips around an I e cold beer 🍺 that gave me all the drive I needed, if it wasn't for Josh I would of just left my bike there.. Thanks Josh you frigging legend.. 😊🙏

Firstly Juddy and crash hopper. Legend. Just keeps getting up and is absolutely loving it. Thats true adventure spirit. Dont think the tyres were helping much. And fairly sure he owes SRC a shout out for his fairing not exploding. The camping part was hilarious. And you call me a comedian. 🤣🤣🤣. Cant wait for day 2 and a new pair of pants 😉.
Those crash bars actually folded in and smashed the fairing in the first place, ole Juddy had to pull it back out. Surprised they stood up to the punishment of this ride lol

Keep punching that green machine around the bush. Had a little chukle when you guys looked at the logging road and said looks good from down here. Faily sure i said the same thing the first time i went up there. Lucky you didnt make it up and go right. It gets a bit more knarly down there. Needless to say i was on the edge of my seat at that point screaming at the tv dont turn right at the top 🤣🤣🤣

Juddy is truly a mad dog!!! Great video you guys, enjoyed it. Though, I did wince a few times as Juddy stacked. I give him 10 out of 10 for fearlessness🏍🏍🏍. Juddy : one little bit of advice : get a full face helmet. I thought you were about to grind off your chin when you went down on that water crossing😬 You could try a flip lid [modular helmet] which gives you protection when you need it, yet is still perfect for having a snack/drink/smoke when taking a quick break on the trail. Looking forward to part two, I want to see Juddy and the KLR slay some single track!!
There's enough beard there to protect his chin from about 10 metres of concrete I reckon Tori hahaha after that all bets are off 😬 Spoiler alert there was no single track on day 2 😅

I have those same exact tires that Juddy has.. They're actually advertised at 80 on 20 off but others call them 70 on 30 off. The fact that he's tearing it up like he is is pretty epic. Makes me glad the tires I have are that capable.

Hi Josh top draw video as always , you got to hook up with Juddy more, great content ? That Dundee stuff don't work on cows then he he, m8 can i suggest if you put 2 spade connectors on your ABS fuse & put a inline fuse to a switch on the bars & you can turn it of during bush riding & you won't have to keep resetting it every time you stop , sure it's going to chuck a fault light when it's off, soon as you turn it back on fault light goes away ? Done it on my CRF 300l & my Truck, Food for thought, ATB Wayne UK..........

Its been fun all the way, Thanks so much, Yes I am back in Adelaide after my fun adventures in Bangkok. Glad all who fell are ok! On private property I use Garmin hunting maps on my Montana 700i to show me property boundaries. Not sure how current they are in your area, but here in Alaska they have been accurate so far in the 3 years I have been using them. Keeps me from trespassing on private, native, and military land regularly. Great video, it show you both having a great time.
Yeah cool Hema Maps here shows private property as well but the problem is a lot of private property in Australia has gazetted roads through which are fine for public use, but sometimes it's unclear if farmers are just being pricks and overstepping their rights or whether or not a road is actually closed to the public. Where abouts was it where the farmer had a go at you? I ride around that area a bit and would prefer to avoid antagonizing him any further. I assume it was somewhere west of Kilcoy Murgon Road around the Diaper or Squirrel Creek State Forests. I've yet to find any decent way to get on to Monsildale Road other than getting on it from Kilcoy Murgon Road (and I hate going up and down KM road, so boring).
Yeah mate down around the southern end of Squirrel Ck state forest. I also loathe Kilcoy Murgon road it's somehow even more boring than blacktop

It had crossed. Y mind also, I think you will find he probably has no right to lock it considering it is a through road on maps. An interesting conundrum... funny thing was I got lost 2 days later and my maps took me on to his land again, I had no idea it was his land until I was past the point of no return, no sign and no sign of him, we are respectful around cattle, shut the gates and I would like to see him take it with him when the inevitable happens, our indigenous brothers and sisters would have a bit to say on the subject also.. I am a land holder and I accept no one owns land, we are merely caretakers..
