    They invited at least 5 million people into the UK in the last 5 years. Those 5 million weren’t wanted or needed nor was the skills base of these immigrants sufficient to raise a penny.
    The public services weren’t available
    The housing stocks weren’t available
    The money for benefits weren’t available

    Furlough was just spending other people’s money. I note their was no mention of the cosy deals with suppliers of all the medical provisions that were needed, and the parties! I’m 70 and voted Conservative all my life but I wouldn’t vote ever again for the lies, deceit, lack of delivery on the advantages of Brexit and the breathtaking general incompetence we have witnessed over the last 14 years. Vote Reform!

      None are "illegals", there's no such thing. If there were then where are the prosecutions eh? Facts are that 80% of these people are genuine refugees and should be processed so they can go and work and pay taxes and not be being kept in sleazy slum lord hotels, who BTW are charging us like they're the effing Ritz, Tory donors no doubt like the people that the Tories paid 2 billion quid to to rent a lethally infected prison boat that can't house any asylum seekers in it. The other 20% need to be processed and deported, as is our right. Know who stopped the Home Office processing asylum seekers? Theresa May. Know who shut down the immigration courts? Every Tory PM and Home Secretary since 2010.

    The Brexit failure, no vision for the country in a post Brexit world.     Have always respected this man but he knows the Achilles heal of his party is their record on immigration and he did not address it. He was given an easy ride by the interviewers. Immigration is the main concern to most people including me. Reform are doing well purely because they are the only party offering real change to combat mass immigration. If the Tories had keep their promises to do the same and stop the boats they would have been unassailable, whatever the cost if living and level of tax.

    Brexit or no Brexit, Europe and the UK are economically "up the creek".

      Of the two, the EU has far more potential to weather the storm created by Putin, economically the aggregated EU economy has better growth and lower overal debt than the UK. Thus it can mange problems of regional inbalance better. Ther UK is getting poorer and even more unequal. Unless we rejoin and soon we will be an Argentina on the Channel. It certianly will not be the Singapore on Thames the Right wanted from Brexit!

    I don’t mind IDS and have always voted Conservative but now it’s Reform UK all the way. We need change and to preserve our liberties and culture. Reform are the only party that gives a s**t about those issues.

    Trying to blame economics and taxes on the pandemic as if this is the main concern. The truth
    is that the public is disgusted at the way democracy was abused by politicians of both parties.The majority were arrogantly denied and the promises we demanded through Brexit were ignored.

    Think Ian had some fair points about Covid and Ukraine and cost of living crisis would have hit any government for six but on immigration they have let us down so I’ll vote reform.

    I wonder how many times my mother carted me off to Whipps Cross Hospital back in the 50s! Very sad to see that it seems to have been demolished....it was a bulwark of our district and it saved my cousin's life.

    Didn't have to, but chose to spend and print vast sums of money unnecessarily and waste a lot of it too causing a lot of inflation and tax rises. I wish journalists would take these politicians to task on that.
