Because the cost of manufacturing goods in the UK is more expensive. Energy price (as a result of British energy policy) is a big factor in that. Brexit is not a factor in that.

@@casanovamacbeth I agree that it's British energy policy, but I don't think that using renewables is the only problem - in the long-term, it'll be cheaper whereas Brexit will long-term negatively affect people. Anybody you hear from the industry, including SMEs that Farage says he supports, says red tape and regulations (inevitable ones) are increasing costs, Farage will never be honest (as well as Labour and the Tories) about the negatives of Brexit.

That's correct. Nigel Farage, the leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) at the time, did indeed warn about the potential for conflict in Ukraine in 2014. He made these comments in the European Parliament, where he was a member representing the UK.
Farage's statement "we provoked this war" referred to the European Union's (EU) and the West's role in supporting the Ukrainian revolution that ousted pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych in February 2014. Farage argued that this support led to Russia's annexation of Crimea and the subsequent conflict in eastern Ukraine.
Farage's views on this issue were controversial, and his criticism of the EU's and the West's actions in Ukraine were seen as contrarian by many. However, his warnings about the potential for conflict in Ukraine did ultimately come to pass, as fighting broke out in the Donbas region between Ukrainian government forces and Russian-backed separatists.
It's important to note that Farage's comments were not solely a warning about the potential for conflict but also a critique of the EU's and the West's foreign policy in Ukraine. His views on this issue have been subject to interpretation and debate.

Afraid Nigel is making the same mistakes as they made with Brexit. Trade deals with India etc have not been finalised because they want things we are not willing to offer, carbon tax free imports of goods that will flood the UK with cheap product and many many work visas. The US are the same, they want to flood the UK with cheaply produced meat and agricultural product, while he sits there ready to open the doors of UK health to the US insurance companies. We will are trading issues with the EU for issues with the rest of the world. While he is a good campaigner I don't think any of the plans in his contract are realistic. On another note, why are these interviews so performative, Nick Robinson constantly with all these interviews has willfully misinterpreted and missed the point. There are enough issues with what they are presenting without making up issues to get annoyed about.
