Hey there, great video. I already have a 175D, and this helped me understand what it could do. Amazing company as well. Before I watched this video I didn't really understand what GPS did for the drone, and now I get that it helps the drone recorrect its position in the air when it might drift.

Got mine for Christmas. Its my first drone actually. Now I use to fly model RC airplanes so fly this is so easy. I wasn't familiar with the brand but got lucky I suppose. I hope the offer one with at least image stabilization and a smoother servo for the camera. I'm super pleased with it.

@@b4ugo It was a update for the app as of yesterday and when I updated it problem started happening Having problems with my drone I don't know what's wrong with it it was doing good as of yesterday it created a problem on the app it will only go a certain distance now and then it automatically returns back home I've had it off of beginner mode ever since the first day I bought it because I'm not an amateur flyer and it was going pretty far out but now it will only hit 200mm out then it will automatically return home
I loved this straight to the point review. Because of this I ordered this model drone for the reasons you mentioned, it's only to mess about with and I am more value for money over status or brand status. Thank you so much, It arrived yesterday and once everything was charged and I watched the demo you gave several times then I went to a secluded area and successfully flew for the 1st time. I only nearly hit myself twice so I call that a good run . It is great value for what I paid ( £166 UK ). I have liked and subscribed. thanks again

I personally prefer the cheaper drones. It doesn’t sting as bad when you run it into the side of a house or lose it in a tree then a $800 drone would. Not that I would ever do any of those things.

I actually stopped flying drones for a while until stumbling across your video on the hs210. Almost immediately after seeing the video I purchased the 210. Then I watched the video on the hs175, and then this one.. and guess what happened… I bought a 175d!!! 😄😄😆

Storing batteries? What is the best way to store the batteries on these drones if you are not going to use them for a while? Discharged? Charged? Partially discharged? We are talking about a month or two or more??
I give you credit for a very informative video, with great instructions for people that can’t get into the DJI/Autel world. I had nothing but disconnects, dissatisfaction, frustration. Returned to Amazon. Bought my first DJI M2, and now have an assortment of DJI/Autel birds.
Great presentation video I wish I had watched this before, I got mine about a week ago but got a little too excited I was able to put up in the air ok, except I got it tangled up in a tree, damaged all the blades. Luckily it didn't get tangled up in the branches. Learn and live!

Damn, i ordered it on amazon 3 days ago and its really good. The camera is just a bit sensitive to light but everything else is just great. Recommended for beginners.

@@babycaliba Good, but since the weather wasn’t nice for some time (winter) I couldn’t fly it, but because im a rookie it crashed. One thing to note is it went out of its boundary that was set, and it wasn’t always returning when I clicked return. But the wind was strong that day too.
I'm going to get that drone, I'm pretty old late 60's and maybe not so pretty, and I've never had a drone before but after checking your video I've just gotta have it. It seems ok for beginners and you explained the brushless motor very well. I have a small bit of experience with that motor in that I found out about them when I was looking into getting a good drill set. Ok thank you so much, I haven't a clue but let's go for it before my legs give out!!!

I have one. It's not bad. It hovers very well. If its not windy I can basically park it in one spot in the sky and it will stay hovering in that spot. Pretty good for getting relatively stable footage. One problem I do have is that outside on my property I can't get a stable GPS connection. Sometimes I get no GPS and other times it will lock on to GPS but only for a few moments. My yard is small and right near the house and other surrounding buildings not far away so that may be preventing it from seeing the sattelites. I flew it up at my brothers and he has a much more wide open yard and I got a stable GPS connection. I'll have to take it to more locations and try it.
Yes, also sometimes people try to calibrate it next to metal and that messes with it also, thanks so much for sharing! This is true for all drones at any price
Really appreciate your reviews. I find you cover a lot of important content compared to others and I get a good idea of the drones and their capabilities. Thanks to your video on the HS175D I decided on this model as my first real drone. Got it on Amazon for $161 + taxes (was on a lightening deal so promo code did not work, I am guessing). No complaints considering the upgrades to the HS175 which I was already looking at. I have a Eachine E010 (small baby drone) for some years now but I have probably flown it maybe 10 times. Those small drones are tricky to fly and just don't have the battery life (8 mins maybe) to put in the time to become proficient. Looking forward for when I get my order. Thank you.
Planning to get into drone flyovers at golf courses and looks like you live on one! Great review. This drone might do the trick for decent footage at par threes.
Awesome, be sure and make a pre-start checklist. Even $10,000 drones have to go through these things, i read about flyaways but I have never had a problem. Except once when I changed a battery and forgot to go through everything again. I cut some pretty good cuts but catching the thing mid air as it was toilet bowling because I skipped everything. Just got one sent to me for a review,glad I watched your video,subbed you,will be doing my review in a couple of days. Have a DJI phantom 3 and a mix 2 with mods I did to them,flew both almost 2miles out and still had full single with mods,got scared that far out,hit the return home button. Thanks, of course DJI is the best drones, that’s why they have 74% of the market. Sometimes it’s fun to see how much we can get out of budget drones. With out these DJI could even charge more.

Start Here First, you can fly that drone without the camera, just let it hover a few times and keep it low and slow, you will be fine. Practice going up and then landing first, be sure you remember where all the controls are on the remote. Just takes. Little time. Enjoy

I’ve had this drone for a few days now and love it. But sometimes when I’m flying it the right joystick will all the sudden become opposite direction. Forward is backwards…
strange, first I have heard of that on any drone, if it continues I would reach out to HS, They would probably send you a new remote. thanks for the input and let us know if it contiues
I got mine today. First time flying a drone. I was doing fine until I realized the left control stick will rotate the drone. It was staring at me and I was staring at it. Then it went 100 feet to the left. Because I was pressing right. It smacked into the chain-link fence. And for some reason the motors kept spinning. Operator error I found out. I ran over to get it and my pants ripped at the crotch all the way to my knee. Going to need an economy size bag of those propellers. And some new Levis. 10/10 would drone again.

No, with out a 2-3 axis gimbal it’s going to shake in the wind, takes great pictures though.
I just also learned the difference between brushed, and brush less. Thks a million for that.

Really appreciate your reviews. I find you cover a lot of important content compared to others and I get a good idea of the drones and their capabilities. Thanks to your video on the HS175D I decided on this model as my first real drone. Got it on Amazon for $161 + taxes (was on a lightening deal so promo code did not work, I am guessing). No complaints considering the upgrades to the HS175 which I was already looking at. I have a Eachine E010 (small baby drone) for some years now but I have probably flown it maybe 10 times. Those small drones are tricky to fly and just don't have the battery life (8 mins maybe) to put in the time to become proficient. Looking forward for when I get my order. Thank you.

Awesome, be sure and make a pre-start checklist. Even $10,000 drones have to go through these things, i read about flyaways but I have never had a problem. Except once when I changed a battery and forgot to go through everything again. I cut some pretty good cuts but catching the thing mid air as it was toilet bowling because I skipped everything. Just got one sent to me for a review,glad I watched your video,subbed you,will be doing my review in a couple of days. Have a DJI phantom 3 and a mix 2 with mods I did to them,flew both almost 2miles out and still had full single with mods,got scared that far out,hit the return home button. Thanks, of course DJI is the best drones, that’s why they have 74% of the market. Sometimes it’s fun to see how much we can get out of budget drones. With out these DJI could even charge more.

Start Here First, you can fly that drone without the camera, just let it hover a few times and keep it low and slow, you will be fine. Practice going up and then landing first, be sure you remember where all the controls are on the remote. Just takes. Little time. Enjoy

I’ve had this drone for a few days now and love it. But sometimes when I’m flying it the right joystick will all the sudden become opposite direction. Forward is backwards…
strange, first I have heard of that on any drone, if it continues I would reach out to HS, They would probably send you a new remote. thanks for the input and let us know if it contiues

I got mine today. First time flying a drone. I was doing fine until I realized the left control stick will rotate the drone. It was staring at me and I was staring at it. Then it went 100 feet to the left. Because I was pressing right. It smacked into the chain-link fence. And for some reason the motors kept spinning. Operator error I found out. I ran over to get it and my pants ripped at the crotch all the way to my knee. Going to need an economy size bag of those propellers. And some new Levis. 10/10 would drone again.
Lol, great story, buy a mini drone and learn the orientation, will make it much easier, have fun and be safe!
