Hi Antonio, In the Spanish world people are named using father's last name and also mother's maiden last name, because women don't lost their family name after marriage. Thus, Leinier holds his father's last name (Domínguez) as his first last name followed by his mother's last name (Pérez) Leinier doesn't have middle name. Capablanca did have middle name (Raul) because his full name was: José Raúl Capablanca y Graupera (second last name, taken from his mother) When women are married, they can add her husband last name after her own two last names to show that they are already in a married status. For example: A woman name at birth Olga Pérez Blanco married a man named Antonio Dominguez Corzo, then she can imtroduce herself in society circles as Olga Pérez Blanco de Dominguez, showing this way that she married a man with Dominguez as his last name. On the other hand, every time you see in the Spanish language a tilde (é) on any bowel, it means that there is the strong syllable, where the strong pronunciation sound falls. So, Domínguez is pronounced with the strongest sound on (mín) in the same way Pérez is pronounced using the (Pé) as the syllable where the strongest sound is located. So far you are pronouncing Leinier's last name this way (Perez) instead this one (Pérez) which is the correct one. See the difference? I hope this short Spanish grammar lesson could help.
