VANICREAM CLEANSER IS MY FAVORITE. i have super sensitive dry skin and even CeraVe irritated my skin. vanicream is the only cleanser that's worked for me even in comparison to high end ones i've tried. love love love it
Like anything with Rosacea, what works for the majority sometimes doesn’t work... I find Eucerin anti Redness with green tint to be the best light moisturiser on top of other products. It has the liquorice part, spf and uva protection, no major irritants, and is backed by a few clinical studies..most of all it works for me, I’ve tried Clinique, dermatologica, la Roche Posay and bioderma. Eucerin is probably the best, but some people don’t like the green tint. Bioderma sensibio cc cream is good for blending red areas like on your nose etc.
Bailey Diesel Yes, and the people obsessed with essentials oils, the same ones that claim it can cure anything and everything. I wish they would watch her so they might understand essential oils are still fragrance. NO “fb friend” cedar-wood should not be rubbed on your eyelashes!!! Ugh! 🙄
I agree! I am a light makeup wearer and enjoy watching the beauty you tubers for makeup techniques and product suggestions. But when they start doling out skin care advice I cringe!
Bailey Diesel many of them watch her and pass on her advices about sunscreen, fragrance and cruelty free to their viewers as their own. It’s coming around and I am very happy to see that.
Not just fragranced, but VERY overpriced and fragranced. It actually saddens me to see women who don't know much about skincare spending their hard-earned money on products just because their favorite beauty gurus are using them.
Have you guys seen the extreme UV levels (10+) we've been having this summer? My sunscreen doesn't last as long and my skin is more irritated. How are you guys? Love to all and have a safe, healthy summer!
@@dbg0206091 yes! and where I live, it's so hot right now that I feel like it just melts off from sweat right away. My dermatologist says "stay in the AC and use physical barriers like hats" -- I have a massive floppy straw hat that basically folds down over my entire face and I have to kind of hope I don't bump into anything lol. Sadly the AC is broken at my house but I just try to avoid the sun as much as possible and wear my hat if I have to go outside. Also I store my thermal spring water mist in the fridge and spray that on my face whenever it feels flushed or hot. I do think setting sunscreen with powder helps it stay in place a little better. I spray an SPF 30 mist on top pretty frequently in between reapplying the cream. I still get evidence of "getting sun" even with the precautions. I think my skin reacts to even 5 seconds of sun exposure.
I am 71 and had problems with my skin my whole life. I now use only Cerave products and have amazing skin. Just recovered from a mild case of Shingles and the doctor said my skin was unbelievable! I use this product for every thing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I bought that Cera Ve baby wash and the lotion for my little baby and I have used them on myself. They’re really great. The wash is the most gentle cleanser I’ve ever used. It’s very low foaming. The lotion is actually pretty thick for a lotion, it’s more like a cream. It’s really soothing.
I love my vanicream! I love it because it's non-sticky. It has completely saved my skin, especially the eczema on my legs. It took about a month but now the eczema on my legs is barely noticeable. Thank you so much for your advice it has completely changed my skin care game.
Im turning 18 this summer and struggled with rosacea since I first started puberty. It made me so self conscious, and being fair skinned, and ginger did not help ! 😂 I started wearing makeup to hide it and I was convinced my skin would never look normal. I am turning 18 and just now discovered this channel !!! Thank you so much for providing free , helpful information for people like me struggling with this condition. I cannot wait for payday this week ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love being able to get my skincare with my grocery pickup order. I get so overwhelmed when someone is helping me shop so being able to just order based on a recommendation really helps.
I was literally going to message you on Instagram asking you to make this video, I am so happy. My skin has been miserable since I had a bad rosacea flair when I turned 28, after previously having good skin. It’s done a number on my self esteem so I am really looking forward to using your recommendations!
Me for 40+ years: I have rosacea. My face is red. I give up. Me two weeks after You Tube tells me about Dr. Dray: I have knowledge! I have sunscreen! I have hope!
I love the Vanicream Cleanser so much. It leaves my face feeling so soft and moisturized. I hate when I run out of it I have to go get it! I wish it came in a bigger bottle.
Thank you so much for this video. I've been diagnosed with rosacea since last year and recently diagnosed with Keratosis pilaris not only my arms, but also in my face, which I've read is rare, so I am force to pay more attention to what I am putting in my face. Thank you for explaining thoroughly what should we look for in our skincare products!
Hii, can you help me out how you had diagnosed with rosacea...i have been facing it since 9 years its too horible..please help ke out by your suggestions..
THANK YOU, DR. DRAY!!!!! I could hug you! I don't have rosacea but I have acne-prone, oily, sensitive and reactive skin. I never considered for one moment that fragrance in products could have been causing all these eruptions on my skin for YEARS. I have taken Accutane twice and was still experiencing outbreaks, at least once a week. Never had completely clear skin except when I was taking Accutane and only using the products they told me to use on my face. But once that was over, I went back to all the things that I thought were good for my skin. Many were very HE and expensive. I thought I was pampering myself. What I was doing was wasting money and irritating my skin. I've heard you speak about fragrance and how irritating it can be on the face but I kind of just ignored that and believed it was something else that might have been causing my flareups. I finally got fed up (and the girl who does my hair noticed how bad my skin looked and asked what was going on) and after listening to many of your videos and recommendations and thoroughly explaining how and why some ingredients can cause acne due to irritation and how you not only went over fragrance in products and how "fragrance free" is not the same as "unscented", and then how you explained ingredients such as citrus oil, etc. can irritate skin, I listened to you. I took your advice and followed your recommendations with cleansers and makeup. I did this on Memorial Day of this year and have not had ONE new pimple since that time. I had inflammation at that time and some angry pimples, but those eventually healed. I currently use Albolene Makeup Remover to remove my water resistant zinc-based sunscreen and makeup, then I use Vanicream to wash my face. In the mornings before I put on any makeup, I use Cerave SA cleanser on my face (I use the body wash one on my body) and then follow with Differin Daily Deep Cleanser. I then use the lightweight fragrance free Elf Serum and then apply my Walgreens brand Baby 50 SPF (zinc) sunscreen and then follow with the Physicians Formula CC Cream. My skin has never been better. My skin even looks good bare without anything on it. FIRST time in my life except while using Accutane. So, Dr. Dry, I cannot thank you enough. So, guys, LISTEN to Dr. Dray. Follow her advice. Review the products you use on your face and see if there are any of the ingredients that could be causing redness or outbreaks or acne. This lady knows what she's talking about! She is THE BEST! I have told so many people about her! I hope you go very far, Dr. Dray, because you deserve it! You work hard and you share your knowledge with us. So many doctors and other professionals do not do this because I think many want you to rely only on them and medicine. You rock! Sending you many blessings!
That is quite a story, thank you so much for sharing! I'm eternally grateful to Dr. Dray for her generosity with her time and knowledge. She has saved me a lot of heartache over my skin and a lot of money.
PLEASE get a skin care line . You are the best!!!!!!!!!! x 100000 I carry a notebook 📓 with your tips that have helped me soo much😭❤️ and you’re such a beautiful person too. I love you & THANK YOU ANDREA.
In case anyone is wondering about the Cetaphil tinted sunscreen: I’m about as pale as Dr Dray and I find that it is too orange for me. It helps to mix it with an untinted sunscreen (especially one with a white cast), but if you’re white and looking for a tinted moisturizer to use by itself, I wouldn’t recommend the cetaphil one.
I’ve been struggling with sensitive skin for a couple of years, probably because of my misguided foray in to skincare and using the wrong products that has damaged it. Before then my skin was fine. Since finding your videos I’ve been trying to only use minimum products and make sure they’re fragrance free
I reccomend coppertone for all my dry skin ladies out there. Its def super moisturizing and does not break me out. That is a double win. Its def little shiney but I don't mins because I'm auper dry.
I have sensitive skin and since I watch your videos I learned about vanicream! And I love it! Nonsense, affordable and feels amazing! Thank you Dr. Dray you are the best! 👏🏻
I’m so grateful for your videos and the great work you do! A year ago I took your advice of using Retin A for acne, I made the switch to cerave and I now moisturize my whole body with the cerave in the tub which isn’t something I used to do. Now a year later I only breakout very minimally during ovulation and my period (hormonal) but thanks to the cerave and Retin A The breakout is much smaller and doesn’t last nowhere near as long only a couple days if that and I don’t get any more scarring from it. My body is so smooth and I’m loving the all over glow. THANK YOU!
As a 22 year old who was just diagnosed with rosacea, THANK YOU! I’ve switched derms twice and none were helpful. They had zero recommendations in terms of products.
I so appreciate you Dr. Dray! I found you about a month ago and have watched at least 2 of your videos a day ever since, whatever you upload that day plus a previous one I hadn’t seen. I love your vlogs, I love your mom. I love hearing about the books you read and all the little products and foods you try and report on. You have really helped me with my skin and keeping the lines, wrinkles, and sun spots at bay. Both of my adult daughters also love you and started taking care of their skin and really took sunscreen more seriously since watching you which makes me very happy. You are no nonsense, no frills, just good solid info wrapped up in the cute package that is you!!
The Equate dupe for the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser is one of my favorites. The Cerave version stings me but this one doesn’t. I’ve repurchased it many times.
I need to try that one! The CeraVe Hydrating cleanser stings my face too. I've been using the Stratia Velvet Cleansing Milk, which is similar, but I'm sure the Equate one is cheaper.
The vanicream cleanser is the best! I know everyone is all about CeraVe right now, but I find the foaming cleanser to stripping, and the hydrating cleanser leaves a weird film and doesn’t do much. The Vanicream is a perfect middle ground of those two products!
Laura Jean I got the blue lizard “sport” sunscreen and I noticed extra redness, tight and dryer cheeks, and breakouts that I believe could be caused by it! I’m not 100% sure but I switched back to my holy grail Eucerin daily protection spf 30 and my skin quit acting up as bad! I might try blue lizard again but I have been scared since my skin is doing alright for once!
Sarahhh Beth i have sensitive skin and rosacea but the blue lizard *face* sunscreen has never given me any problems. it stood up to the pool really well! even with my tendency to rub my eyes every time i come to the surface. it doesn’t even make my eyes water like most do. i do use sport on the body. my daily sunscreen is cerave face 50 on face neck and hands
Cerave products are fantastic. I’ve never tried the baby line but do use the foaming cleanser and body moisturizer. Really good to use on reactive skin. Thanks for all of your videos, Dr. Dray. I appreciate your thorough, no nonsense reviews and explanations. Tybee is cute too.
I’m an acne rosacea gal, but I’m doing great since following your advice. Today I received a DermStore shipment with three mineral sunscreens. ☀️ It’s my first time trying Elta MD UV Replenish Broad Spectrum 44. On top of that, and in the center of my face, I applied Colorescience Sunforgettable Face Shield SPF 50. What a glow I got from that combination! It was very Dr. Dray-esque 🥰. Because I tend to get oily, I did apply a bit of finishing powder in my t-zone. I usually avoid a glow, but today I totally embraced it. I have less need for my Rx meds less because I’m doing so well with Dr. Sam’s Flawless as well as the CeraVe products. Sunscreen is the real deal, though. Thanks millions, Dr. Dray. 🌸🍃
This video was incredibly helpful for me, but I'd love to see your take on an updated products' recommendation for rosacea prone skin (particularly with regards to sunscreens).
I was in Ulta the other day and saw a full Cerave end display! I don’t ever remember them selling Cerave! I started using the foam cleanser as of two weeks ago and have noticed a difference in how my skin feels. I had been using Lancôme’s creme-mousse confort for dry skin and I love that too. It’s a bit pricier than the Cerave, but a little goes a long way and it’s great for my sensitive skin.
Butterfly: Are you aware that Lancôme Creme Mousse Confort Creamy Foaming Cleanser contains parfum/fragrance, fruit oils, flower extracts, and dyes? These are common irritants and allergens and can be problematic for the skin. The CeraVe foaming cleanser by comparison is fragrance free and doesn’t contain any of those problematic ingredients.
I have rosacea & Prosacea is the 1st product that actually makes a HUGE difference on my face! The redness is lighter, my skin doesn't itch anymore & no more bumpy cheeks. My skin is actually smooth again. I use it 2 to 3 times a day after cleaning my face. Highly recommend it! I ordered mine from Amazon & after seeing how well it worked for me, I immediately ordered 2 more tubes because I don't want to be without it. Best I have used!
Long time rosacean here with a couple of additional tips that I learned while studying/practicing as a makeup artist -- the green tinted stuff can get problematic when applied to non-red facial areas. A green cast can be left behind. I tend to use such things as a spot treatment only. Also, when trying to avoid the white cast of some (well, most) physical sunscreens, a very helpful item is the "cover fx custom cover drops" from sephora/ulta. once matched, one can easily make a custom tinted sunscreen. while the initial cost of the drops can be intimidating, the fact that only 1-2 drops would be needed does make the product long lasting. Thank you so much for the helpful video and product recommendations. when i was first diagnosed, good information was hard to find.
The cetaphil gentle skin cleanser is THE BEST like ONLY thing that doesn’t burn my face (I have super dry sensitive skin!) (the hydrating cerave one BURNS my skin) I also LOVE their night cream moisturizer it has hyloronic acid in it and helps me a lot!!
The Cotz Spf 40 sensitive non-tinted is all mineral and has the least whitecast of any all mineral sunscreen I’ve tried. The only downside is it is quite shiny.
I've followed a lot of the recommendations that you have regarding products for rosacea. Sulfur and azelaic acid seem to be quite drying for my skin so I will try to apply moisturizer more quickly after using those products. Thanks for all the recommendations! Keep them coming.
Totally agree Cerave PM is really lovely on the skin. I have dry and red areas just around the top lip and nostril area to the sides. Some of these I think I can get in Australia but a little online shopping could be called for here. Another great review, thank you🌞
I can’t believe how much I enjoy vanicream and cereve products. I let my son know what use . Every Christmas , all stocking will get the Cerave healing ointment in their stockings from now on.
All my favorite skin care products are featured on today's video! CeraVe skin products and Coppertone pure and simple, are my go to. Happy Wednesday 🙂🍁
@@normakarina5123 l use the coppertone pure and simple on my face because it doesn't sting but it does leave a light cast, and the coppertone sport from the chin down.
I'm from Houston as well and I just recently discovered your channel and have been binging it ever since. I haven't watched one video that wasn't informative and educational it's nice to see something like that on youtube
I love the Cetaphil Redness Reducing Daytime Moisturizer with tinted sunscreen. I use it almost daily over my zinc oxide 50 SPF sunscreen to hide the white cast. I want to try the Vanicream cleanser too. :) Happy Wednesday Dr. Dray! :D
Hi, do you use a regular moisturizer after you cleanse? Or do you go straight for your SPF 50 after you cleanse? Currently I'm going cleanse, moisturizer, sunscreen SPF 50 and then the tinted sunscreen and it just feels like a lot.
@@drtrescuevet2410 My regular routine is: cleanse, serum(s), moisturizer, then sunscreen. Because of my sensitive skin I have to use mineral based filters which leave a white cast. So I use either the Cetaphil product I mentioned in my previous comment or CeraVe's tinted sunscreen. If I'm wearing makeup then I'd apply foundation instead of a tinted sunscreen. I usually wait until my skincare products have dried down before applying my SPF50. Hope this helps. :)
@@drtrescuevet2410 You're welcome. It's a lot of trial and error. I read a lot of ingredient labels before buying anything. Watching Dr. Dray has helped tremendously for that as I now know what I'm reading and what ingredients to avoid. I'm also no longer 'fearful' of things like parabens. My skin is leaps and bounds better than it was a year ago since watching her channel and getting rid of all skincare products that contained fragrance. Huge difference! :)
Dr. Dray, you seem to understand rosacea so well, not only from a scientific, clinical perspective, but also you seem more “sensitive” (lol) to the challenges we sufferers “face” in our daily life. Thank you for all the great information. Sorry about the puns. They weren’t intentional, but I left them because they made me smile 😊
A lot of these are my new favourites since watching you. You are indeed fortunate to have Equate products at Walmart. Wish we had them in the UK. Happy Wednesday.
Thanks for the info! After 2 treatments of accutane in my 30's and early 40's i was cured of my cystic acne but NOW, im CURSED with rosacea in my 50's. Sure wish i could find procare rosacure in stock somewhere!!!!
I absolutely love the vaniceam cleanser. It’s so gentle on the skin, but would it kill them to make the packaging look a little more appealing. I love displaying my cosmetic products in my bathroom and vanity and it doesn’t look the most attractive. It doesn’t need to be fancy, but even packing that’s minimalistic and modern would be nice.
Thank you thank you thank you Dr Dray! Your advice has helped my rosacea so much and I can’t thank you enough! Rosacea for me has been absolutely isolating, painful and debilitating until recently. Your advice has helped improve my whole life so much. My rosacea is on my face and mostly my eyes which has severely impacted my capability to lead a normal life at times. Your advice made a huge difference I watched all your rosacea videos and follow your advice to a T!
Thank you so much for yet another very informative and helpful video Andrea. My husband was recently diagnosed with rosacea. His doctor prescribed Lymecycline antibiotic at a low, non resistance forming dose and the rosacea has cleared up . Whether it will stay away when the course of tablets runs out we will see, but fingers crossed. Happy Wednesday everyone! ❤️
I just went to Wal-Mart and bought a couple products you recommended. Found out that the Pure & Simple coppertone baby, spf 50, has more zinc oxide than Blue Lizard....and less expensive. :D
Bioderma’s Sensibio line is soo good! I have mild rosacea and I use the Sensibio light. If you want a lightweight summer moisturiser for sensitive skin, or oily-combo skin for winter I cannot recommend enough the Sensibio Light. I’m lucky Bioderma products are more affordable in Europe. A 40ml tube of moisturiser is around €15-16. But there are many discounts online year around.
I love, love the rosacare. For the first time ever I have a calm face. No stinging or burning feelings on my face for 5 days now since starting it. Thank you so much Dr Dray!
Thanks to Dr.Dray I found the perfect cleanser for my skin, I’ve tried many gentle cleansers but none cleans and I actually gentle with my skin like the Vanicream cleanser. 🙏🏼
Thanks so much for this video Dr. Dray. I have rosacea and it can be a very challenging skin condition. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re helping so many people. ❤️
Thank you for this video! I love the CeraVe Baby for my kids, particularly because I have dyshidrotic eczema on my hands, so it needs to be gentle on both of us. I also recently tried the Dove Baby Tip to Toe wash, and another one called Bambo Nature Bath Buddy (not at Walmart). Kids can flare rashes so easily so fragrance free is a must!
Not sure if Dr. Dray would recommend, but also wanted to throw out there Simple's Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. It's the only face moisturizer that I've found that doesn't break out my sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin. Even CeraVe, Cetaphil, and Hada Labo products break me out in rashes and acne. And I love Vanicream products--thanks for the recommendation Dr. Dray!
I'm so grateful for your joyful and beautiful existence here in earth!!! I sure appreciate you!! Loving sunscreen filled hugs from Northern California!!! ✨🤗✨
I appreciate you spending the time to impart your wisdom so that safer skin roams the planet! I just started watching last week because I wanted to go on a foundation fast thanks to the humidity (Manor Texas) and your videos are right on time! Even my 13 year old daughter knows how to take care of her skin. I started this journey also because for her birthday, one of my “friends” wanted to give her a makeover for her birthday! She wanted to even out her complexion! My daughter had great skin I can’t even comprehend allowing her to use any makeup so I took a long hard look at myself and decided to work on better skin and less makeup. Thank you again for sharing and teaching me how to work on using better products on my skin!
Ok call me crazy because I'm NOT ready for winter..but who is excited to see her 2019 skincare favorites video!?!?! Ahhh I can't wait!! Love ya Dr Dray you are the best 💃
And this us why I love you. You never make me feel like I have to spend a ridiculous amount for good skin care. And it's available at Wal-Mart. One of my favorite stores! Appreciate you so much, Dr Dray. Thank you. Have a relaxing evening. 🐦🌻
I learn something new with every video. Several years ago, “Pre Dr. Dray,” I would roll around my house (wheelchair user) with Selsun Blue Dandruff Shampoo plastered to my face. My husband called me Wheelie Smurf... 🤦🏼♀️ Now I know about sulfur masks! 🤣 Everything I use is based on your recommendation, including your OG CeraVe in the white tub. I will definitely try the CeraVe Baby since I noticed that my last Hydrating cleanser stung a bit. My only splurge is the DE PolyPeptide Cream and Azelaic Acid from TO. Thanks again for teaching us!!! I definitely can’t say that enough. 💜
From watching Dr Dray's video on zinc pyrithione wearing Selsun Blue on your face isn't a silly thing at all :). I'd have never have known about it's properties if I hadn't had watched that vid.
Dr. Dray, thank you for this video focusing on Rosacea and sensitive skin. The products you've recommended for these conditions have greatly helped my skin. Ceramides and Niacinamide are especially helpful for my sensitive skin and my Rosacea.
Thank you so much, Dr. Dray, for sharing your knowledge with us. I recently followed your recommendation and purchased Albolene to remove makeup and sunscreen. I washed it off with Eucerin Baby Shampoo and the combination of these products works great without any irritation. I also switched to the Equate equivalent of Cerave PM and Cerave Facial cleanser and I'm loving these products and the savings.
Dr Dray, would you consider doing an updated AM and PM routine? I think you're using PCA skin gel, Rosacare, (and maybe other things like sulfur?). Would like to see a video to catch up with the latest and greatest!
Hi Dr Dray, my favorite sunscreen is by dermatology. I have rosacea and mature skin . It works great and doesn't pill up under make up . I use dermablend foundation to help with redness. My redness is getting better since I started using dermatology. Thank you for reviewing this product. All the best to you and your mom.
I saw you recommended vanicream products a while ago & ever since watching your video I’ve been loving the cleanser & lite lotion! I have really sensitive/acne prone skin and it’s been working so well for me! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge Dr Dray!!!❤️
Thank you Dr. Dray. I have super sensitive skin and have spent a lot of money on expensive skin care for it not to work. You have simplified my skincare routine. I even purchased that Eclipse cover up and have been using it all week and love it so far! Happy 4th! 😊💥
Hi Dr.Dray, I've been following you for a few months now and have been incorporating you're recommendations. I can't say thank you enough for your material. My rosacea was flaring up horribly for a few months and my insurance wouldn't cover anything (so frustrating!) So I started doing my own research thanks to you. I tried vanicream for the first time today, and while I dont want to make any bold predictions, I've never seen my face to red-less. Haha. Thank you so very much for your posts!
I havent seen vanicream or cereve products in australia but i just started using QV products and oh my god im so in love. Inexpensive and my skin has never looked better :)
Hello Dr., I have a question :) I have a little bit of rosacea and I did not know until I started watching your videos. I also have moderated acne. Usually, profucts for acne are harsh for rosacea. What can we do D: Thank you so much!!!!!
I actually started using Cetaphil and Cerave moisturizers recently for face and body, including the SA Renewing cleanser, the Moisturizing cream from Cerave, as well as the Hydrating Night Cream with hyaluronic acid from Cetaphil. Honestly, they are actually better than many moisturizers sold at Sephora which are laden with fragrances and essential oils!
I have been using a green L’Oréal primer to combat redness for quite a while. It seems I find a product I like, and then it disappears &rom the marketplace. I am glad to learn about other products I was not aware of before your video. Thanks!
Yay! i have sensitive eczema prone skin. Currently dealing with eczema on my hand that wont go away for the last 2 years! Not sure what is causing these flare ups but i think i need to find the right products. Thank you!
Valentine Velvets: You might also want to try Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream. It’s fragrance free and enriched with ceramide and colloidal oatmeal, which is good for repairing the skin barrier and reducing redness.
This video is just great!! I am using La Roche Posay Toleraine purifying foaming cleanser and its great and super gentle with ceramides and niacinamides, its soap and fragance free but I also love the Vanicream one.The Aveeno gel one in the peach tube its great too.I am going to try the sunscreens.Thank u
Thanks to you, I am a die-hard Vanicream user. But I just found out that the gentle cleanser has a pH of 6-7. Should I be concerned as I have dry, uber-sensitive skin?
Its awesome you mentioned the Walmart brand knock-off for the CeraVe PM. I'm trying to find a good replacement for it because I go through so much of it and my budget is tight. The CVS one must be slightly higher in whatever alcohol they're using in the formulation because it dries out and irritates my skin so much.
8531022: Unfortunately it makes my face red/burn/sting. I think it is because of the Niacinamide in it. I’m getting skin patch testing done later this summer to confirm which skincare ingredients are problematic for me.
The Amazonian (😉) has a brand named Solimo that seems to have several promising dupes for super cheap. Like, $5.62 for an 18 oz bottle of what looks a lot like Aveeno Daily moisturizer! There's also an oil free facial moisturizer for sensitive skin, $3.36 for 4 oz!! 😮
Thank you for making this video Dr. Dray. I bought the Rosacare lotion and Coppertone Pure and Simple and I agree both are very comfortable to wear. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

VANICREAM CLEANSER IS MY FAVORITE. i have super sensitive dry skin and even CeraVe irritated my skin. vanicream is the only cleanser that's worked for me even in comparison to high end ones i've tried. love love love it

@@luzysoto7497 Most retails outlets such as Walmart, Target, drug stores, etc.
Which moisturiser suits u ? @joanna rodriguez
Joanna Rodriguez same here. Cerave made me itch so bad. Bank team works wonders.
Same, I thought I was doomed after cerave stung my face and vanicream saved the day
Like anything with Rosacea, what works for the majority sometimes doesn’t work...
Back to the basics. I wish all the beauty RUclipsrs, who smear fragranced products over their faces, would watch Dr. Dray.

thank you for doing so much content for us rosaceans! even if it makes us blush! ;)
Happy Wednesday!
Vanicream is the BEST cleanser! Pairs perfectly with my topical retinoid, doesn’t irritate, and removes makeup/sunscreen well.
:)
Happy Wednesday!
Right back atcha!
Try azelaic acid /Skinoren
@miss tree so, should I ditch all her sun screen advice, too, and just rub kefir all over my face?
Ginny Thompson put some cheese curds on it too!
I love the Vanicream Cleanser so much. It leaves my face feeling so soft and moisturized. I hate when I run out of it I have to go get it! I wish it came in a bigger bottle.
I'm obsessed with all things Vanicream.
Me too!! Ive ordered so many vanicream products on amazon 🙌🏻🙌🏻
:)
I have rosacea and kp on my face too:/
Hii, can you help me out how you had diagnosed with rosacea...i have been facing it since 9 years its too horible..please help ke out by your suggestions..
Well said
That is quite a story, thank you so much for sharing! I'm eternally grateful to Dr. Dray for her generosity with her time and knowledge. She has saved me a lot of heartache over my skin and a lot of money.
PLEASE get a skin care line . You are the best!!!!!!!!!! x 100000
I carry a notebook 📓 with your tips that have helped me soo much😭❤️ and you’re such a beautiful person too. I love you & THANK YOU ANDREA.
TNkR2010 yess!! Please skin care line 🥰🥰
Vanicream cleanser is the best! Removes makeup and sunscreen without being drying. Love it. Cerave pm is awesome too! Thanks Dr Dray!
Katie Rotgans 💙
Do you use only the Vanicream cleanser to remove sunscreen? or you use the oil-based cleanser before Vanicream?
Yasmin Maley 💙
what sunscreen do you use? I’m having trouble finding one with extreme sensitive skin
Alejandra Hunter 💙
Hii, can you tell how you diagnosed
Michelle Parsons equate beauty has so many great products 👍🏼👍🏼
Equate has a fantastic dupe for Aveeno daily body moisturizer too! Love Equate!
I need to try that one! The CeraVe Hydrating cleanser stings my face too. I've been using the Stratia Velvet Cleansing Milk, which is similar, but I'm sure the Equate one is cheaper.
I think equate doesn't have the ceramides that cerave has
Cerave moisturizing lotion stings I wonder why :(
The vanicream cleanser is the best! I know everyone is all about CeraVe right now, but I find the foaming cleanser to stripping, and the hydrating cleanser leaves a weird film and doesn’t do much. The Vanicream is a perfect middle ground of those two products!
I’ve used the Vanicream cleanser just twice but I love it for the same reasons you do. I also found the cerave cleanser too drying.
blue lizard sunscreen yes!! my family has been ordering it for years! it’s great
The blue lizard caught my attention think i will try it too!
Great products!
I just started using the Cetaphil Redness products. The redness is getting better.
Happy Wednesday :)
La Roche Pose 100 SPF.
I have sensitive sunscreen and the blue lizzard is my favorite.
Lena Wall hello do you use it everyday? Will it irritate you?
Thanks dr.dray for teaching this guy how to take care of his skin, all your videos are fantastic!🙏
Totally agree Cerave PM is really lovely on the skin. I have dry and red areas just around the top lip and nostril area to the sides. Some of these I think I can get in Australia but a little online shopping could be called for here. Another great review, thank you🌞
"Heck, if you have skin!" I almost choked on my coffee. 🤣😂
Happy Wednesday!
@@normakarina5123 l use the coppertone pure and simple on my face because it doesn't sting but it does leave a light cast, and the coppertone sport from the chin down.
@@normakarina5123 it's a cream SPS FPS60
Can 16 year olds use the vanicream cleanser ?
The cetaphil redness relief night is great for facial eczema too that’s what I use every night.
I'm from Houston as well and I just recently discovered your channel and have been binging it ever since. I haven't watched one video that wasn't informative and educational it's nice to see something like that on youtube
thanks for watching :) stay cool...it is steamy out today
I am loving the simple straightforward products and my wallet is loving the savings. Thank you always for your steady, practical advise!
Diane Elhard 💙
Thank you for making a video on my forever blush and sensitive skin .
rogue484 💙 thanks for watching
I had given up until I came across a video of your reviewing Cerave. Bought the products and my skin is so soft and moisturized.
@@helpfulnatural Thank you! That's good to know, I'm still figuring what's best for me :)
Happy Wednesday!
Products for real people that's affordable. So many other RUclips video showcases high end products that we simply can not afford. Thanks Dr Dray.
Happy Wednesday! I am literally obsessed with your channel haha! Much love from Texas!
Happy Wednesday!
Thanks for the info! After 2 treatments of accutane in my 30's and early 40's i was cured of my cystic acne but NOW, im CURSED with rosacea in my 50's. Sure wish i could find procare rosacure in stock somewhere!!!!
Growing a Yogi: Try CVS
I absolutely love the vaniceam cleanser. It’s so gentle on the skin, but would it kill them to make the packaging look a little more appealing. I love displaying my cosmetic products in my bathroom and vanity and it doesn’t look the most attractive. It doesn’t need to be fancy, but even packing that’s minimalistic and modern would be nice.
Put it in a cute glass pump. They can be for lotions too not just soap :)
Because of you I purchased vanicream and I love the product
Have rosacea. Since finding your channel early this year I have a new face. Thank you for the education
Sara Phillips 💙
I love, love the rosacare. For the first time ever I have a calm face. No stinging or burning feelings on my face for 5 days now since starting it. Thank you so much Dr Dray!
Thanks for all your hard work I know it's a lot to put together these videos. You do an awesome job thank you 💙
Tanja Merriman thanks for watching 💚
Could you please make a video of a complete acne routine using products from walmart. For example what cleanser/wash, lotion, and suncreen.
Samantha Mathias Happy Wednesday
Thank you again for sharing and teaching me how to work on using better products on my skin!
angela moncada: Have you seen Dr Dray’s Teenage Skin Care video? It is very informative.
Oh wow thank you!!
Ok call me crazy because I'm NOT ready for winter..but who is excited to see her 2019 skincare favorites video!?!?! Ahhh I can't wait!! Love ya Dr Dray you are the best 💃
:)
And updated am/PM routine!! Please😁
And this us why I love you. You never make me feel like I have to spend a ridiculous amount for good skin care. And it's available at Wal-Mart. One of my favorite stores! Appreciate you so much, Dr Dray. Thank you. Have a relaxing evening. 🐦🌻
Thank you Dr Dray all this information is wonderful! I have rosacea
thanks for watching :) it is a frustrating skin condition
I learn something new with every video. Several years ago, “Pre Dr. Dray,” I would roll around my house (wheelchair user) with Selsun Blue Dandruff Shampoo plastered to my face. My husband called me Wheelie Smurf... 🤦🏼♀️ Now I know about sulfur masks! 🤣
Everything I use is based on your recommendation, including your OG CeraVe in the white tub.
Laurie P 💙
I agree! great idea!
aside from this video, i always list what i am using in my routine in the description box
:)
Thank you Dr. Dray. I have super sensitive skin and have spent a lot of money on expensive skin care for it not to work. You have simplified my skincare routine. I even purchased that Eclipse cover up and have been using it all week and love it so far! Happy 4th! 😊💥
I've literally spent the last 2 days watching all your rosacea & sensitive sunscreen videos so this was perfect timing! Thank you!
Once again....Cerave has great products that have done wonders for me!!!!
I havent seen vanicream or cereve products in australia but i just started using QV products and oh my god im so in love. Inexpensive and my skin has never looked better :)
@Michaela Little...Yes QV is great. Dr Dray recommends it and has done a video on it :)
Chemistwarehouse sells Cerave now. But not their entire line.
Hello Dr., I have a question :)
I have a little bit of rosacea and I did not know until I started watching your videos. I also have moderated acne. Usually, profucts for acne are harsh for rosacea. What can we do D:
Thank you so much!!!!!
Dr. Drey says, "If you have SKIN, you can't go wrong with Vanicream." She cracks me up!😄
I have been using a green L’Oréal primer to combat redness for quite a while. It seems I find a product I like, and then it disappears &rom the marketplace. I am glad to learn about other products I was not aware of before your video. Thanks!
Hi dr Dray. Thanks a lot. Don't have to have rosacea to use these wonderful products. Have a great Wednesday!
Happy Wednesday
Yay! i have sensitive eczema prone skin. Currently dealing with eczema on my hand that wont go away for the last 2 years! Not sure what is causing these flare ups but i think i need to find the right products. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! I have allergies and constantly get rashes, eczema, and bumps as a result of using certain products.
Did you end up switching products? I feel the same way now. pH level of vanicream is so high but it doesn't irritate me?
I just started using the Vanicream cleanser, I really like it! I have dry, very sensitive skin.
Cerave PM is so marvelous! Holy grail for sure. ☺️
Walmart has such great prices on cosmetics and beauty/healthcare products. Their shipping is wonderful.
:)
Thank you for making this video Dr. Dray. I bought the Rosacare lotion and Coppertone Pure and Simple and I agree both are very comfortable to wear. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
