I can certainly relate to his comments about woman pushing you to the snapping point. Been divorced now for well over a decade, and much happier for it. It has however put me off relationships and marriage for life. Too much hassle when a relationship is not a team effort.
I think if someone isn't listening they will find him offensive. He is pointing out the hypocrisy in situations and EXAGGERATING the story for comededic effect. When you HEAR what he is saying (check out full specials) and the over all context, it becomes clear that he is seeing the world from a great/actually realistic angle.
