Mario strikers battle league received a poor audience reception, with lack of characters/stadiums, outdate online service and future updates it was bound to happen
I like the gameplay it’s a good laugh with friends, also the gear rewards and galactic mode were a nice surprise for winning all cups, but game needs way more playable characters and modes quickly. Also no 4 player coop on separate consoles is just bizarre. Would play more if we could that.
This is the best review I've seen so far. Most of the reviews talked about lack of content in its release, without acknowledging the fact that Nintendo is literally providing less content even in the final form of the game. For example ACNH still has a lot less content compare with previous franchises after its final "big" update.
The good thing is it's not going unnoticed now, theres only so long they can keep doing the same thing, the sales are a big indicator something has to change. Thanks appreciate it
While I do think that ACNH has enough content to keep players engaged for at least a year or so (Still not done with the art gallery and it's been two years since I bought the game in summer of 2020) I do have to agree that, even though I appreciate many of the changes and improvements done in the game, the lack of things present in games like New Leaf or City Folk bug me a bit (shop upgrades, previously staple NPC characters that now only show up if you have their amiibo card etc.) I also think that part of the reason the game was a big success was due to it being released during the pandemic. I still think the game had a decent amount of content at launch when compared to the recent Mario sports games, but I can't deny that not having things like The Roost and Isabelle's annoucnements being completely useless and annoying until a year and a half after the game released were just plain wrong.
watch they will do this shit for BOTW 2 make us over 6 to 7 years and its released "incomplete" with only 1 or 2 dungeons at launch and a "promise" more to come at a very later date and you can't even progress on with the story
Something I don't see mentioned enough and it isn't just Nintendo that is dishing out half baked games and adding DLC to "fix" it, but what happens in 20 years when I take my physical copy of Mario Strikers out to play on the Switch for a bit of nostalgia? Surely the servers will be long gone leaving me with the original half baked game? Can't we just get releases that are feature complete from the get go?
this is what I forgot to mention would be very annoying as I still dig out my old N64 and play classics. Unfortunate if all these games with added content will be reverted back to the base game once the servers go down
Typical Nintendo. They've been doing this kind of thing for so long. Nintendo have become this shallow shell of it's self and their fans are eating it up. It's actually good to see this kind of vid because I don't feel like the only person who thinks this.
It was so simple. Just re-release the previous strikers title and you're golden. That game was perfect in every way, they just needed to follow the formula. The map is so small in the new title, and the style isn't as edgy.
Of course but they are taking a lot of shortcuts recently, just want Nintendo to stop relying on additional content later on and give us a solid base game with a good time frame
since i saw the first gameplay i notice how slow, boring, unfunny, and lame the gameplay was, not even close to the intensity of the other mario strikers, specially the wii version, is amazing how a game from 2007 is far superior
I think the core game looks good and I'm sure 'Next Level Games' did best job they could with time constraints. Nintendo just needs to wake up and see this business plan is not working
After 8 months still no Mario party superstars DLC 😂
I say it every time but the next Nintendo direct haha
Why are we expecting it when super Mario party got no dlc, just the online update. Nintendos just satisfied releasing games with very little content.
When dad finally returns! 🤣 Great video as always my guy!
haha cheers man, still need to hop on that mario party discussion

Agreed, with the additional content they need to do more than just releasing character this game needs more modes and stadiums etc
Nintendo didn’t ruined the series, but did ruined the spinoffs. Superstars is the one exception.
Superstars is a great game, still holding out for dlc but am satisfied
They didn’t do the bare minimum. They did less than the bare minimum.
They did non of the above.
Remember kids, its never unethical to pirate, emulate, or mod nintendo games.
lol

ACNH had enough launch content
@@tendohh Mario strikers is going sell like hot cakes and Europe

Let’s go another amazing video by tendoh
thanks man
I love Mario strikers but some dlc will make it unbelievably good
thats great, yes I believe it has potential to be a fantastic game

thanks for watching, it's good more people are noticing a lot of heart are lost in mario titles. Hopefully something will change soon
They do the bare minimum with their hardware too. They literally sold people cardboard for full price.
oh yeah that was hilarious
daisy wasn’t in the game that’s why it’s low rated
lol

that would have been cool for sure
Nintendo still puts love into their games even today and well worth supporting in the long run and their still taking big risks with their ip's

@@tendohh this game is not drip fed dlc it has love and charm in it and is loved and still talk about in a positive manner like switch sports
@@ayasato9514 thats your opinion, accept when others think differently
This is an easy fix actually. Vote with your wallet and don't buy it. Simple.
Great vid!
at this stage the games in agree 100%, thanks glad enjoyed
Just wait until the new Pokémon game comes out
That looks better

Like u say, its really sad seeing that even being a millonarie companie they dont care in puting more quality to the products :(
Very disappointing, still hopeful Nintendo will make better quality products soon from the reaction to recent titles

Why don’t they put content into there games lmao
baffles me how this gets the go ahead for release when like 40% done
0:14 I"ll tell you the answer, modern Nintendo is just lazy and doesn't care about their consumers, that's it. We miss you Iwata.
wish you told me in advance as the vid would be a lot shorter, We do miss you indeed :(
agreed!
in the video u were going easy on Nintendo by the looks of it

I don’t buy Mario spin-offs. After Mario Tennis Asses I stopped. Aside from Mario Kart games. The Mario Kart garbage DLC being an exception.
Think avoiding mario sports titles is a good idea and saving your money for a more complete game
@@tendohh Absolutely. I need to show Nintendo that I don’t want their Modern Mario Trash Sports.
