We worship God with both our mind and our body. When our mind is clear and our body is healthy it is easier to serve God and to resist the devil.
"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify[g - set you apart] you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NKJV.
(Added notes) THE BIBLE DIET FOR HEALTHY HUMANS
1) In the Garden of Eden God said, Genesis 1:29 ““I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”
And after sin, Genesis 3:18 "you shall eat the herb of the field". Adam and Eve were now given a purely vegetarian diet.
2) After the flood God said to Noah, Genesis 9:3-4, “3 Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. 4 “But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.”
This rule about blood was repeated at the Jerusalem council in Acts 15:29 “You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood ...”
3) Noah knew about the distinction between clean and unclean animals: Genesis 7:2 “Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate”.
This rule was repeated to the Hebrew nation in Leviticus 11:1-4, “‘Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat: 3 You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud. 4 “‘There are some that only chew the cud or only have a divided hoof, but you must not eat them.”
4) But didn’t Jesus declare all foods clean in Mark 7:18-19?
You will notice that the King James Bible omits (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean"), whereas many modern translations have the words in brackets. This was not in the original manuscript but has been added by those who wanted to justify the eating of pork!
5) Death is a result of sin. We believe that we will not kill to eat in the Earth made new, Isaiah 65:25 “the lion will eat straw like the ox”.
As we are not there yet, let us honour God and be good to ourselves by living wisely. That means healthy food choices, thoughts of faith and goodness, peace of mind, and living in harmony with our family, neighbours, friends and even our enemies (we will need the Spirit's help in all of this).
Doctors,hospitals,schools need to teach this sermon make it mandatory learning classes !

Omg I started a fruitarian diet of just grapes a while back and would love to share with you my story. Maybe it can change the lives of the people in your congregation. Remember the verse where Joseph interprets the dreams about the cup bearer and the bread maker? The one that got to live was pouring grape juice into his masters cup, which I interpret as God telling me to put that in me so that I may live and get out of my bondage (sickness) longest grape fast was 24 days and you are not lieing when God says he will bless you with wisdom
Be careful with any product from fermented grapes.

Why do millions of Christians have this fascination and craving for eating blood? The scripture clearly states:- “that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what has been strangled and from fornication."

I am currently on my fifth year of changing my whole existence at the age of 59 years old from being ultra morbidly obese to almost a normal size of 200 pounds at 5 foot 11. Most of the weight loss was done by fasting I have recently Contact to church and I've been digging deep into the word. I looked at the Daniel fast and realized that out here in Hawaii I am not able to find those food items with the same macronutrient context that was available during the time the Bible was created. Man has altered most of the food items listed in the Daniel fast
Which means the items that are listed under the Daniel fast is no longer God's creation that can be purchased in the United States.
If I could get access to the same types of food that was around when the Bible was written at the same nutrient content, yes, it should work however today because of men's intervention with GMO it is now food, not from God

@@ChristopherHarle41048 i'm not sure why you sent me to the link, however, I do have one more thought to share. I am a dad and I set up my children for a success. Did you know in Hawaii? All of the food listed in the Daniel is not available in the Pacific During the time the Bible is written. And yet Hawaiian thrived for almost 2000 years in the middle of the Pacific. The farthest away from any large landmass and yet the Hawaiian bloodline thrived! Why? My thoughts are God loved all of his children, including Hawaiians and gave us a different way to live, a different food supply with the same macro nutrients in the area where the Bible was written my God is amazing God.
I never limit the Lord as he knows his children's needs all around the planet in different geographical locations. I realize during shutdown.
I never limit my amazing awesome Lord, who has given me a new body a body, and my family doesn't recognize because I was obedient and listening to him. Show me how to feed my body, nourish my body, and not hurt it anymore by eating not his food .
Wheats, grains and beans are not found in the Pacific basin.
The enemy has no original thoughts, but he can copy God's homework. It is my opinion that he use the story of the tower of Babel to cause confusion with food and create insulin resistance. If you do research on that, you will find the more than 90% of man's disease and illness , including health disease were caused by too much glucose and sugar in the modern diet.
The original sin of eating the forbidden fruit which has the highest sugar content in the garden of Eden, started this pathway from the very beginning. God gave us an answer to fight sugar. It's written in the Bible. It is the most talked about fuel source for us that no one pays attention to. Most people are not over 400 pounds like I was and didn't have to fight to be normal.
God has tasked me To help educate what the answer is, that no one sees in the Bible. My challenge to you is to find the most written about nutritional food source in the Bible that is by far the most valued item written about that no one realizes counteracts insulin resistance.
God gave us the answer and he used that to transform my body. I don't look like someone who has lost 216 pounds and over 24 inches around my waist who can run marathons today. I know where the same pen size I wore in the fourth grade.
I talked about this with my Pastor, so many pastors in Hawaii has diabetes type two, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, glaucoma, skin tags, fatty liver, and so much more. God has fixed all of that in my body. He has even filled my bald spot with black hair.
I challenge you to find God answer to most of man's medical problems He has given to us as it's not the Daniel fast. until you have made this journey that I have been on just like a baby Christian's journey to learning about the Lord, these words in the Bible are overlooked.

I have realized that God can communicate different messages to the millions of people who have read the Bible and yet he reveals different information, wisdom, Confirmation and validation to His children as they need it during their walk with Him.

The Daniel fast is not God's answer to most of man Medical challenges today. In the Bible, Gods answer is overlooked and not even acknowledged because most people travel the journey that I have done with Him.
I am a self proclaimed super geek. I look at things so differently including the Bible. The enemy has used the original sin and combine that with the story of the tower of Babel to create confusion about what foods are good for us.
I'm sorry, but the Daniel fast is not the most powerful tool from God written in the Bible to repair a man's body.
It is fat also known as oil, have noticed it's written in the Bible, even without using the word "oil". I'm not just referring to olive oil, which is only written 20 times in the NIV Bible.
Fat = oil, has different nutritional value based upon its different sources. Example macadamia nuts are different from lard, which is different from olives, but each one helps the body differently, but all of them can be considered oil.
I challenge you to find out how many times oil and it's derivatives are mentioned in the Bible. It will blow you away at count of its mention.
Only people who have walked a certain path, does the eyes open and information in the Bible revealed.
Daniel fast can cleanse the temple

Sure would have been better if you just used the same bible version on the graphics the same as Doug is reading off the screen. Why make this confusing for those that don't know? Continuity is important.

Vegetables sounds to generic, what type of vegetables? I use to eat 90% vegetables, I couldn’t gain weight and in fact kept losing. Eating vegetables won’t make you bigger and fuller.

Hi, you quote Scripture verses and put certain words in capitals, but I do not understand what point you are attempting to put across. Are you against a vegetarian lifestyle? Fine, consume 'clean' flesh without blood in it and you will be in harmony with the Bible.
