@@krisguti2606 I switch it off overnight whilst I sleep.I don’t use it for sleep tracking or nightstand mode so pointless having it using battery whilst I sleep.
@@codyshane6838 I went back to Garmin, got the vivoactive 4 and a Z flip 3, Apple watch is alright but it doesn't really fit my needs as far as a fitness tracker too.
Sucks that you literally have to turn off most of the cool features to save battery 🤨 Apple needs to start putting better batteries in their products 🙄
@@cultofmac 1.5 days is not that great, tbh. I bought a Garmin Fenix 3 for $50 just recently from FB marketplace. This thing lasts at least a week on a single charge.

You can easily go 2+ years without ever needing to have the battery replaced. It’s also not something you can do yourself, so you’ll want to check with Apple on cost and timing.
Yes! My old watch holds the battery charge for 18+ hours. My new SE holds for 8?? And tech support is someone from India I can’t understand and has no idea how to fix the problem. If I did not have an iPad, phone and watch that are all synched I would drop apple. They are close to a trillion dollar company and have to cuts costs by eliminating components and outsourcing tech support to India or other countries. This absolute bullshit. I have owned apple products for over 15 years and you would think their service would improve as they make billions!!! Go figure.
My current Honor Band 6 has a 2 week battery life, and my Huawei Band 4 Pro before that once lasted 30 days before it needed charging 🤨 Why does a watch by APPLE have less than a DAY of battery life???
Great tips... I think it's sad that you'd ever need to worry about battery life on a $500+ watch, though. It should go 2-3 days without compromise.

To be fair - the Series 6 gets pretty amazing battery life… so these are just ways to stretch that even further.

That’s great and all, but can you make calls, send texts, control music or your Apple TV, or act on notifications with it?

I have a series 4 and the battery lasted me about 8 hrs. After switch off Siri battery last me 24 hrs. Thx!

I don’t use Siri for anything she sucks as an assistant. I found that turning off background app refresh saves huge battery
