I also bought an LG 39GS95QE for my second computer. In short, after the last update of Windows 11, the fonts look quite tolerable, like on some kind of VA matrix, even true type. Test this model too. ;) This 45’’ is no longer relevant due to its resolution - after all, UWQHD is not enough for this size, whatever one may say. :)
The LG does not have a lower resolution than the G9, both are 1440P, the G9 is wider thus has more pixels horizontally, but that does not equal "higher resolution". Its all about the VERTICAL pixel count not horizontal. The LG is however equivalent to a 32" vertically and the G9 only a 28", so in actual fact the G9 has higher ppi but that's only due to the small vertical screen size.
So far, you're the only person that has reviewed this monitor on youtube so thanks for it as it was helpful. I just got the LG 39GS95QE from Best Buy last week. I was gonna get this monitor but at $1700 it was a no go, until this weekend. It went on sale at Best Buy for $1200 so I pulled the trigger. The 39" also dropped from $1200 to $1000 so I used that $200 savings to get this monitor for $1000. The DPI doesn't bother me as I can't see it unless I'm up against the monitor. I have the scaling to 125 and sitting at 16 inches away from it. My gpu is the 4090 and it struggles in some games to even reach 240 fps. I liked the stand of the 39 over this one, the 39 is so much better. I came from the Asus PG42UQ and the 800R didn't bother me one bit. I got used to it right away. I wouldn't buy this $1700 but at $1200, it's a good deal.
I bought a 34" QD-Oled 175hz ultrawide monitor instead( Philips Evnia 34M2C6500/00) . It is more than big enough in my opinion, and much cheaper than this monitor. Almost half the price in my country.
I JUST bought this monitor and its absolutely amazingly amazing beautiful monitor yes the resolution is 3440 1440p at 45 inchs but you wont notice at allllll its beautiful amd perfect for gaming
Can you use a gaming monitor like this instead of your 4K TV to play with on your PlayStation five or PlayStation five Pro or your Xbox series X? And if for example, a PlayStation game does 60 frames per second, can you get more frames per second on a monitor that does 240 frames or only what the game itself runs at?
I tried the Corsair flex version recently. The only issue i had was with the pixel density. Unlike with a qd-oled display where the colour fringing on text gave me a headache as well as the pixel density being low. Really at that size display 3440x1440 is unacceptable. Unless you're literally only ever playing a game or maybe watching a video. Unlike the G9 oled you really can't even begin to do anything productive imo. In some ways it's like using an old school 1080p or 720p monitor. If the next generation is 5k2k like is rumoured, then that's actually endgame for me.
I'm extremely grateful for your reviews and dedication. Currently I'm a law student, and I've been really trying to find what UltraWide monitor is best for me. I'm only using the new MacBook Pro, and though I spend the majority of my time taking notes, review documents, writing briefs, etc., I want to get the proper monitor without paying for bells and whistle which are no benefit to me. On the side I do a lot of video and sound editing. After watching several of your reviews, I'm really quite sold on this monitor... unless you recommend something different. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting man! From what you've written, you don't mention gaming once - so I'd recommend looking for one with a higher resolution. If you're editing then you'll be able to fit more on the screen too. I just got the Dell 40" Ultrawide which is smaller but has a much higher resolution, at 120hz, with a full dock in the back. Perhaps that's a good option for you?
I have the same exact specs on my pc my ram is a bit higher mhz same brand tho I swapped my Lg C3 for this monitor 2024 version and it lasted 2 days I could not unsee 4k even with the Cru mods so I took it back and upgraded to the Lg C4 my heart is full and happy. Great review tho.
Great channell and awesome monitor. As you said, the PPI is very low, combined with oled I'm expecting terrible fonts and productivity. 1440p for anything above 34" is no-go (still using 48 LG CX as main monitor)
Thy should make 4k resolution version too really for such large monitor size. Every new large size monitor products have this issue in 2024... We don't use monitors for gaming only.
Nice. Totally get your points re: the stand. The stand is so crucial for space. I use Dell UWs because I focus more on productivity for my monitor than gaming since I stream a lot from my gaming PC to my handhelds and Meta Quest. The extra 90W PD is very nice but I agree for most users not needed. Looking forward to your review of the 52K2 UW.
I bought this monitor after watching the review of the original model. For those looking at this monitor: You trade PPI for insanely fast refresh rates and motion clarity and the best immersion a TV sized monitor can offer. On top of that it’s an OLED. You can find the original model on sale, for the same price as a normal sized OLED. You don’t buy this monitor to get a normal experience. It’s all about the immersion.
Bullsh*t mate, I am watching this video on my AW3225qf Oled 4K with 240hz and above I got my G9 Oled 240hz sitting , i sold the LG45 2 weeks ago and will never look back!
@@Akupunktura187 QD-OLED colors are better. I’m not going to argue that. I said smaller screens have better PPI. Yes the 32in 4k QD-OLED is a better screen, it’s fact. But I said this monitor is the most immersive due to its size, curve, the high refresh and motion clarity is excellent. There are plenty of smaller regular sized monitors that have better PPI and QD-OLEDs will always look better than matte WOLEDs (LG 45in). But if someone is looking at this monitor it’s due to it’s size for immersion during gaming. That’s literally the only reason. It’s one of a kind at that until they make 5k ultrawide version 2024 Q4.
True. This screen size + 21:9 aspect ratio + 800R curve immerses me more than my own higher resolution 42inch LG C2 or the MSI MPG 32inch QD-OLED (which I returned). e.g. Playing No Man's Sky on this is a vastly different experience compared to the latter 2 displays as you actually feel like you're in a spaceship instead of just looking at a TV or monitor.
I love this monitor I don't even notice the text being pixilated. It's by far the best monitor I ever owned. 1440p is perfect most games can't even get 240fps on 4k so what would be the point. Thanks for review.
I have the 39 and it’s great. Still in return period and think im going to try this 45 now that it is $919 and see which one fits me best. Question, all these people complaining about needing more pixels. What GPU or GPU’s are your running to get 240hz on a 4k super ultra wide resolutions?
Gaming monitor. You could argue that most people don’t have a high spec card to be able to drive a 4k resolution. So the bigger market is a lower res panel that more people can buy
@@PeteMatheson Not sure for this price of $1600. To me if your selling a $1700 monitor it should be 4K. for a 2K monitor the price should be closer to $1000 or less. Thats just me though.
Best review out there, super helpful really ...thanks! Allow me to ask, I am not really a gamer, but I write/read code and text all day as part of my job. Would you recommend this screen for developers? (I'd probably go for the 39" model)
Would you recommend the older model (45GR95QE-B) over the newer model (45GS96QB-B) if it was significantly cheaper? Currently the older model is about $2099 AUD vs the newer model at $2999. I'm wondering if the change in brightness and HDR is worth the price jump
i have the 45 inch from 2023, but the difference between them are not that really big tho. for less grightness i love mine so much... came from IPS and not a single regret
You mention that the Ultrawide/Super Ultrawide monitors display HUD’s in the corners. However, I’d like to point out that many of those games have settings that allow you to bring in the HUD closer to the middle - both horizontal and vertically. That might make a difference in game play for ya. Takes away that Con while still retaining the peripherals
Great review. Saw this at Best Buy today and I loved how it looked. Almost pulled the trigger but thought I should research it first. Not a gamer, mostly productivity and some content development but on a MacBook Pro. Will wait for higher resolution. Curious about those panels on your wall behind the monitor! Any info on them?
I went with the G9 OLED. I love it. But the height is a concern. I am a fan of the 32:9 aspect ratio. I am not a Mac user anymore so that stuff doesn't matter to me. I am not a fan of gaming at 21:9 on the G9, however. I have a high end pc but if I went with a 21:9 I would have probably went 4k. Ultimately, the G9 shape with the 1800R curve (I'm not a fan of the 1000R and definitely not the 800R) fits perfectly on my desk. I was going to wait for a 7680x2160p OLED 32:9 but there is currently not one scheduled for production. So I went with the G9. I do have a 4090 but the framerate on that resolution would not run decent framerates in most games anyway. I do have an LG C1 TV connected as well that I was using to game in 4k before I got the G9.
Its $500 off right now so its at $1200 which is a steal. Only thing I dont like about it is the brightness. The smaller QD-OLED monitors get up to 1000 nits which is blows this thing away. But the size of this one could be more important to some people.
I have a 49" 32:9 and I do this weird thing where I distance my monitor to the point where I can see the entire image without having to move my head, but instead just move my eyeballs, so when I rotate my eyeballs I can see the far sides of the image without using my neck. I still wouldn't mind a bit more vertical real estate, though. But in the video, there's a point made that with the 45" you don't have to move your head to see the sides of the image, but in the comparison image, the 45" is only slightly narrower than the 49". Regardless, I can't wait for the 2160p version of the 45". That'll be an amazing monitor.
Looks awesome. Already waiting for months to get my hand on here in The Netherlands (Europe). Contacted LG through all channels, but they can't tell when it will be available. They don't want my money 😏
I know some games have a Safezone option for their HUD, so, for all the other monitors that require you to break your neck to look at the mini map, adjusting that might help
I've had this for a week now, and my biggest gripe is the quality of text on this monitor... idk if that is an OLED thing or the DPI of this monitor. I'm going to keep but that would be the best improvement imo. Also it is 500$ off right NOW at best buy!
Could you please share more details on gaming crosshair? is it possible to do so via remote quickly? or its all the time 5 clicks manually? Does the crosshair fits exactly to the center?
I wanted to love it, but the Vertical Banding was so terrible I had to return it. I got another one and the banding was just was bad.. Must have got the panel lottery. I ended up getting the Alienware DWF instead. No banding and is great. Sure its a bit smaller. But I'm happy with it. But the size and deep curve, I did love on the 6QB.
DLDSR will help massively on this panel to alleviate that trash PPI. I used it on a 34 inch panel and it made the perceived quality much higher. Probably a must-do on this panel.
So will amd VSR right? there is a weaird thing i noticed...i have both 3440x1440 34" 165hz ultragear IPS and when i use VSR (usually 5120×2160) image gets much much better, but i also have LG C3 3840x2160 120HZ OLED in which any supersampling makes images look worseor the same...anyone know the reason? could it be that C3 has DSC?
@@notimeforspace2477 TVs were never meant to handle supersampling. Whenever you supersample something on most high end tvs the actual image processing of the TV essentially re-scales back down whatever supersampling you applied, making the image even worse due to more layers of image processing.
I really appreciate you mathing the screen size there for us. I think this might be the perfect sized monitor for gaming. Samsung ones do seem great but, their aspect ratio kills it for me. And the 57 inch isn't even in oled. Great video by the way. I might actually get this if it drops in my country. Are there any similar or better monitors coming out and in your opinion is this the best one at the moment?.
@@AlexTuduran Appreciated man will keep these on check too. Due to the pricing issues in my country I went ahead and got a S90C it costed me less than half of all the monitors available on the market. Once the oled monitors drop in price in a few yrs will nab one.
@@AlexTuduran Well I did have a 32 inch curved it was pretty immersive. You felt your inside the game. 55 inch is a whole different beast everything is so large, clear n perfect. That's why I am thinking a 45 inch curved could work a bit closer.
If you want a large OLED 4K monitor, you should consider the LG 42 Flex. I had considered the 45 UltraGear, but it's 2K resolution has just too low of a dpi. I've been using the 42 Flex for 3 months now, and wouldn't trade it for anything - except maybe a 48" Flex (if LG made one).
Lower input lag than a TV, curvature, 21:9 (ie. "ultrawide") aspect ratio and, most importantly, 240 Hz which makes a huge difference. 120 Hz still has tons of blur regardless of pixel response times due to OLED and LCD screens using a terrible thing called "sample-and-hold" to update the image. It's only when you get to the 180 or 190 Hz area and above that the blur associated with sample-and-hold (often referred to as "persistence blur) starts noticeably being reduced. At 240 Hz (combined with OLED's incredibly low pixel response times), it's awesome.
Great review :) Have you tried to set the games on windowed borderless and set the settings tp 3440x1440 on them to see if you will get a better or worse fps on them at the same game resolution? would'nt that be a better comparison because the GPU is having a harder time when you use the higher resolution I have the G9 57" myself, and most of the time im running the games in 5120x2160 because the full widht is to extreme for one game, so I use it to have steam and other programs open in the sides.
Still rocking with my LG UltraGear QHD 34-Inch Curved Monitor (34GP83A-B) 144Hz on a "high-settings" 1440p GPU setup (RTX 4080). For $1,000, I don't see the point of getting this. I'll never hit 240hz at 1440p. I'd go straight to a 4K 120hz 38 or 45" curved monitor
I've had the previous gen of this monitor for about a year or so and I think I'm making the switch back to a 34" with higher PPI. I ended up using it for more productivity work and it's quite bad in that realm of things.
@@m.devellis Yup. 49" 32:9 is just a super ultrawide version of a standard 27" monitor (ie. relatively tiny). It's not even close to being in the same category as 45" 21:9 which is an ultrawide version of a standard 36.5"-37" monitor. The only available size I'd even begin to consider against 45" 21:9 is 57" 32:9 which is a super ultrawide version of a 32" monitor...and going from essentially 32" to 37-ish" (let alone 27" to 37") is a huge difference especially in person with the monitor right in front of you.
@@AlexTuduran Acer Predator X45, Corsair 45" Flex, and possibly others (eg. Agon) are basically just a "re-skinned" version of the LG therefore there's really only 1 option since they're all essentially the same monitor, well, I guess aside from the flexing feature that only Corsair's offers.
My work is remote and I like to always have two windows open side by side (Word, Edge, RDP, Outlook, teams, ect), I'm also a casual gamer. Will this monitor be suitable for working with two windows side by side?
If they did a miniled 4k version I'd be all over this as a trade off for work and play middle ground. I just can't bring myself to spend so much on oled monitors with working from home 8 hours a day and chance burn in. The 57inch G9 is to much side to side head movement, neck hurts after a long day.
I currently have the Samsung 43" CJ890 Super Ultra-Wide Curved Monitor that i use for Work and casual gaming (COD). I was looking forward to this monitor because of usb-c PD and the refresh rate. Seems that a low PPI will not be beneficial.
Are the PiP options only “full screen” “50/50” and “mini window” ? Some of the shots in the video looked like maybe a different ratio than 50/50, (maybe 66/33), but I couldn’t tell for sure.
Yeah the PPI is definitely a miss. G8 is another good option but as you’ve mentioned has its own drawbacks. Just depends on what you’re using it for! Both great monitors
I bought this monitor, and the PPI was the least of my problems. It only matters if you’re not gaming. If you’re not gaming the vast of majority of the time, a normal sized monitor is for you. These are not productivity screens at all. The curve and PPI should scare off most of those users. I use it for work anyway because of the sheer workspace size. I have 42in 4K and 50in 4k screens to compare to and the PPI on those are not ideal either. But they’re great for console gaming. This 45in looks sharp enough in games and the immersion is second to none.
How long does it take to get used to the high curvature of something like this? I love slightly curved monitors ultrawide, but am pretty skeptical on such extreme curves, especially for productivity (I need quick, and accurate mouse placement).
Extreme curves are actually more comfortable in my experience. With shallow curves you kinda need to lean a little into each far corner. Bigger curve needs none of that! And it still looks flat when you're sat in front of one
I am a dedicated MSFS 2020 flight simmer, and am looking for a simple upgrade, since I hate dealing with graphics cards, etc. Would like to buy an Xbox (X) and hook it up to the LG 45. Do you think I will get excellent graphics with smooth operation?
Dang and here I thought an oled with gaming specs I can finally use for design, video, and modeling has finally come into market. Guess I should wait or look at the Alienware DWF monitor.
After gaming on the 2013 (GR) model and the 2014 (GS) model, did you notice a significant difference in brightness and how the ABL dims the screen during bright moments? I heard the 2013 model's ABL is more aggressive than the 2014. I am going to pick this monitor up for gaming, and I am wondering if i should grab the GR now for $1200 or wait for the GS to drop in price in a few months. If there is a noticable difference, I will wait.
Never noticed the ABL a single time EVER in 14 months of using the 2023 monitor while gaming, watching movies, videos, etc. Also, the 2023 model can have it's brightness way increased with 4 or 5 settings in the LG service menu (requires an LG service remote that's like $8), not to mention, using DLDSR (at full 240 Hz, RGB) with games drastically increases image quality. The extra brightness settings in the LG service menu combined with DLDSR turns the monitor from a beast to an absolute monster. Best overall gaming monitor in the entire industry by far (or 2nd to the 57" 32:9 Samsung if only play simracing games).
What about brightness uniformity? Old model has this terrible effect where screen is bright at the center and much dimmer at the edges. This causes banding too. Not really noticeable in HDR mode but in SDR it is very obvious. Newer model has this?
I just bought one. Arriving on saturday. I game on my samsung s95c, and the image goes black every once in a while, and i think gaming on tv is the issue.
Just to clarify. The physical screen may be taller but its the same vertical pixel count at the 32:9. They are both 1440 pixels vertically. The difference is the 32:9 monitor has more horizontal pixels. So the 32:9 has alot more screen space over this monitor bc it has higher pixels per inch. Overall if this monitor is 1 penny iver 1k USD its a rip off.
Hate to break it to you, but the 2160 option is there for almost all ukyragear models, but it's still not the native resolution of this monitor. You want to pick the 1440p option for it look its best.
Sir thank you for this review. I'd like to ask a question. I just bought this monitor and right off the box I am having really really bad visuals. Grainy, text are hard to read and in game my response time is soo lagging behind. My pc has a 7900xtx and 7800x3d. Are ypu able to advise me on what to do. Thank You kindly. I tried contacting LG, no help at all.
Hey! That sounds very strange - assume you have tried swapping cables? Have you tried changing from HDMI to DisplayPort etc ? Try using different ports on the back of the monitor as well. It definitely seems like a cable or settings issue within Windows. Also try dropping the resolution and framerate to see if things improve?
Hello, i currently use three acer predator 27" 1440p 165hz monitors with a 6900xt, for the combination of productivity and gaming would this be a worthy upgrade for my 6900xt
what would you say is the best monitor for professional video editing / gaming? When editing I've been using my MacBook pro m1 display alongside a samsung UE510 (U28E510) for years now. When gaming I use an Omen 144hz monitor alongside my Samsung. I kind of want 1 monitor which I can use for everything without having to swap monitors off my desk depending on what I'm doing. Thanks in advance
whats the difference between the HDR400 version and the HDR10 version? the hdr10 is 1000$ on bestbuy and the hdr400 is 1700$ can someone explain it to me like im 5, is it worth it to spend the extra 700$ for the hdr400?
The LG 39GS95QE-B would be what you want it is a 39" OLED and literally has the exact same specs as this monitor 800R curve, 240hz refresh rate, TrueBlack 400 HDR, etc. its just smaller it was released the same time as this 45" so just as new.
I bought this monitor a week ago and when I play American Truck Simulator it makes my trucks look stretched and smashed, my game also having these little freezes making game play choppy, and in the drop down box for resolution the highest I’m getting is 120hz 240 is not even showing up! I don’t know if some issues are due to the curve aspect but my 32” ultragear works perfect it’s only 144hz and not oled but I don’t have the issues! If it’s not anything I can do in the settings I’m returning it! Are there any flat oled bigger than 32”?

Does the new version come with remote?
@@digitaldream4477 no, the enw version does not come with a remote - sadly
I love this monitor I don't even notice the text being pixilated. It's by far the best monitor I ever owned. 1440p is perfect most games can't even get 240fps on 4k so what would be the point. Thanks for review.
I have the 39 and it’s great. Still in return period and think im going to try this 45 now that it is $919 and see which one fits me best. Question, all these people complaining about needing more pixels. What GPU or GPU’s are your running to get 240hz on a 4k super ultra wide resolutions?
What if I just won’t go connect an Apple TV 4K and PS5 to it ? Will I be able tu use it to its full capabilities just using it for gaming and tv?
Why is it only 2K? Thought they would have upgraded to 4k
more than likely hitting a bigger market not everyone has a 4090 series card to drive these monitors
@@KudaBear316 can't you play at lower resolution then?
Gaming monitor. You could argue that most people don’t have a high spec card to be able to drive a 4k resolution. So the bigger market is a lower res panel that more people can buy
4090 can't even run 5k2k at high refresh tho 😢
@@PeteMatheson Not sure for this price of $1600. To me if your selling a $1700 monitor it should be 4K. for a 2K monitor the price should be closer to $1000 or less. Thats just me though.
Best review out there, super helpful really ...thanks! Allow me to ask, I am not really a gamer, but I write/read code and text all day as part of my job. Would you recommend this screen for developers? (I'd probably go for the 39" model)
Amazing review
Thank you!
Would you recommend the older model (45GR95QE-B) over the newer model (45GS96QB-B) if it was significantly cheaper? Currently the older model is about $2099 AUD vs the newer model at $2999.
I'm wondering if the change in brightness and HDR is worth the price jump
Newer one. The change in brightness alone is enough to get it over the old one.
i have the 45 inch from 2023, but the difference between them are not that really big tho.
for less grightness i love mine so much... came from IPS and not a single regret
my wish monitor❤️
I really like the size and the 21:9 aspect ratio, but that PPI is too low.
I’ve been itching to get a nicer monitor than my non OLED 34” Asus. Price dropped $500 today for Mother’s Day so I gave in and snagged one.
And?
what a great review. thank you.

3440×1440 on 45"…
Still rocking my 2019 43" 32:10 Samsung 3840×1200, and my PPI is as low as I'd go
Looks awesome. Already waiting for months to get my hand on here in The Netherlands (Europe). Contacted LG through all channels, but they can't tell when it will be available. They don't want my money 😏
Vid suggestion (looking for) : this screen (or equivalent) Vs a G9 oled, not only for gaming (🥱) but desk productivitè, video editing, with apps, etc.
Great review! For just gaming would you stick with the Alienware Oled dwf or this?
The alienware is only 165hz...it is beautiful and bright because it's qd oled but I want 240hz
the problem is pixel density, on a monitor that large the pixels will stand out which isn't easy on the eyes
Very professional review
Could you please share more details on gaming crosshair? is it possible to do so via remote quickly? or its all the time 5 clicks manually? Does the crosshair fits exactly to the center?
You got me on Samsung 57". Now you had me thinking about this one😢
I must have missed it, but what is the pixel layout on this one? rbg?
DLDSR will help massively on this panel to alleviate that trash PPI.
I used it on a 34 inch panel and it made the perceived quality much higher. Probably a must-do on this panel.
Supersampling can't be used at 240hz on any of these monitors that have dsc
@@drunkhusband6257 ah you could be right if this panel uses DSC then no super sampling. Ouch!

Predator X45 and AGON Pro AG456UCZD?
@@AlexTuduran Appreciated man will keep these on check too. Due to the pricing issues in my country I went ahead and got a S90C it costed me less than half of all the monitors available on the market. Once the oled monitors drop in price in a few yrs will nab one.
@@roshill2010 Sounds about right. Best of luck in getting one when they become available. Let me know if it's as impressive as everyone praises.
I agree. Once you've gone to 4K, nothing below that cuts it. I'll also wait for the 48" flex if it comes about.
I bought the MSI 49" OLED monitor and love it. But I was looking at the 45" monitors, but my whole thought process was "isn't that just buying a TV?"
Tv and monitor terms are outdated. Just call it display. I know a guy that uses 83 inch oled as a monitor...
@@IwinMahWay Yeah, I guess you're right.
Great review :)
Have you tried to set the games on windowed borderless and set the settings tp 3440x1440 on them to see if you will get a better or worse fps on them at the same game resolution? would'nt that be a better comparison because the GPU is having a harder time when you use the higher resolution
I have the G9 57" myself, and most of the time im running the games in 5120x2160 because the full widht is to extreme for one game, so I use it to have steam and other programs open in the sides.
can you play 16:9 games on this monitor? i want to record 16:9 gameplay of 1 game but others i want to play 21:9
Prople complaining about the ppi don't realise that there is literally no other monitor in this class. No other 45 inch ultrawide exists
and I mean real ultrawide, 32:9 49 inch doesn't count. Vertical height matters alot for immersion
AGON Pro AG456UCZD and Predator X45 don't count? They have the same specs and most probably the same panel from LG.
It's hardly noticeable in games and I have one of the new 4k OLED's from this year and I still prefer the 45" LG
for sure one of them monitors i'd wanna see in person before buying don't really know of another way to see if the PPI would annoy me or not.
2024 actually has a new flat stand, but guess not everywhere they sell it with it
What monitor would you recommend for both pc gaming console gaming and working from home? Spreadsheets etc
Would love to have a video of NVIDIA/AMD graphic card features and if you enable them on your games. DLSS, Frame Gen etc.

The 57inch G9 is to much side to side head movement, neck hurts after a long day.
how is it for productivity comparre to g9 57 inch?
I currently have the Samsung 43" CJ890 Super Ultra-Wide Curved Monitor that i use for Work and casual gaming (COD). I was looking forward to this monitor because of usb-c PD and the refresh rate. Seems that a low PPI will not be beneficial.
We love how the curve of the monitor floats perfectly above our Setup Cockpit desk shelf! 😍🙌
Thanks guys! Desk shelf is crazy good with all the mounting points!
I don’t need this, but I want it.
Are the PiP options only “full screen” “50/50” and “mini window” ? Some of the shots in the video looked like maybe a different ratio than 50/50, (maybe 66/33), but I couldn’t tell for sure.
Do not buy this monitor until the pixels per inch is at least 109. I bought it and the resolution was so bad I returned the next day.
I know the pain, these companies are ridiculous then charge an enormous premium
@@elliotpolanco159I bought the Samsung OLED G8 with 109ppi for $850 and it is not perfect, but it’s way better and $400 less.
@@npaul5962 the problem is that games have an enormous amount of text.
Got the Acer Predator X45 for $1,175. Don't see how other 45" wide screen 2k are any better.
How’s the experience of a 45 vs two 27’s and is it possible to split the screen and game and do another task at the same time?
I am a dedicated MSFS 2020 flight simmer, and am looking for a simple upgrade, since I hate dealing with graphics cards, etc. Would like to buy an Xbox (X) and hook it up to the LG 45. Do you think I will get excellent graphics with smooth operation?
1:11 there are scratched from your webcam on the screen!! I can't get over it.
Are there any preferred settings to help scale with macbook and mac studio?

I'm stuck between this and the new 39 inch ASUS SWIFT PG39C...
Do you have any thoughts on this.

Great review. Would you recommend it for SIM Racing? thx.
Yes !! Absolutely yes ✅
thinking about buying for a Sim
It’s amazing for sim racing. I’m using it for ACC
Thank you for the review. What would you say is the minimum PPI for effective productivity?
I literally just got this and I’m getting a higher resolution than the 3440x1440p 😳 I get 3840x2160 on the 45GR95QE-B
I want this monitor but why have a USB C port that does not also do display? This is one of the biggest benefits of my dell 38in ultrawide.
its always funny to watch playing fps shooters on such a big screen

Great video and monitor! BUT it's too big for my desk - can you suggest a 38"-40" curved model that compares?
The LG 39GS95QE-B would be what you want it is a 39" OLED and literally has the exact same specs as this monitor 800R curve, 240hz refresh rate, TrueBlack 400 HDR, etc. its just smaller it was released the same time as this 45" so just as new.
