Hell yeah i love me a chicagoland video! I live 45 minutes southwest of Chicago ... Only made it out to kankakee once this spring but ended up cruising a bull in 10 minutes and walked up on a hognose a half hour later. Pretty sure i saw the same hog last spring 1/8mile away. Quite a few in this one certain area but nowhere else. Had quite the luck that day. Spent most my time in MO and KS. Feel free to get a hold of me if u want to herp kankakee or i have access to private land with a ton of northern water and a few fox an hour west in coal city . On the perfect spring day you can watch them leave the den one after another and swim off into the lake✌
the water snake looked like it was in shed mode as well....eyes looked a little gray...... BTW you get 10 weather forecaster's together and if 6 say its going to rain......there's your 60% chance!

Lou when I was a kid oh, we found a water moccasin in Northwest Indiana. In a creek called Salt Creek, so sometimes venomous snakes to make it down there.
Lou,you can only trust me. ..don't leave your property unattended...you must get in water to find any species..say hi to wife and girl for me.!!!!!!! Use old sneakers and wading stick.

I've heard of queen snakes but not super familiar with them, I believe they eat only crayfish other than that dk much about them
I think they eat fish too I caught one once at a creek it was awesome
