    This keyboard is really really interesting, combined w/the fact that the #2 OSU player is using a drunkdeer made me order one. 0.1mm vs 0.2mm actuation point debate is pointless to me, as most, if not all pros don't play at 0.1mm anyway.

    I have been using not the a75, but the Drunkdeer G65 and it is a very good keyboard. Tests show it's not as fast as wooting, it cannot be customised as much and it may have some flaws, but this keyboard is great for the price. The performance is not bad by any means either it's still very fast just not quite the wooting, and the devs are currently working on many firmware updates that will release over time, including rgb updates, 2khz polling rate, better stability and overall improvements. Great board for the price and it looks like it will be worked on for a while! I also agree with it being very good for osu, rapid trigger basically pushed the game forward almost instantly and has been behind many gamebreaking scores :)

    I'm really tempted to buy this keyboard, and I've seen alot recommend it as a wooting competitor, but I still have no idea if its really allat. There are just so many other options, but I want to know if this keyboard is really as reliable and great as others make it out to be. I just want to confirm if the a75 pro is a good option or not, because its a keyboard that im looking forward to using for fps such as valorant, and I really want it to last, because its quite pricey compared to other normal keyboards.

      From what I've read, it doesn't have the analog input function that the Wooting boards have.

    • @Feel_Ray
      @Feel_Ray 3 месяца назад

      So for what this analog input? U know what is that?) this dude need rt for fps games, so why analog input for this?

  • @concernedcitizen6313
    @concernedcitizen6313 6 месяцев назад +9

    According to Rtings, one major difference between this board and the Wooting boards is that the Drunk Deer doesn't support analog input (and thus controller input emulation). That's a huge difference and one that I haven't heard a single RUclipsrs who's talked about this board, or any other Hall Effect board (Boog75, etc.), discuss. It's always rapid trigger and setting actuation points (although I'm pretty sure that, when it comes to actuation points, the Drunk Deer also doesn't allow for multiple inputs on the same key at different actuation points). Those things are important, yes, and should be discussed, but when it comes to the question of "dethroning the Wooting," analog movement must be brought up.

    • @simone.giordano
      @simone.giordano Месяц назад

      Totally agree with you, they always talk about the same things, also recent someone on github made a script to use on the drunkdeer for analog input... This is because i think all the magnetic keyboards have the hardware to do so but the software doesn't implement it.

    • @Sproutfps

    I recommend the g65 just for it sound being having more depth. Comparing a75 ang g65 the g65 just sounds better. Thats just how it is between 65% and 75% in like any keyboard tho. Smaller space means less hollowness allowing the g65 to achieve a better sound. Both perform like identically. Unless you really want the 75% layout 65 is the way to go imo

    Picked up a barebones model for $95 and threw on a set of keycaps I had sitting around. I was skeptical of the rapid trigger but after trying it and then going back to a keyboard with normal switches it felt noticeably less responsive. And its great to see more budget friendly HE keyboards available since I don't think I could have justified nearly twice the cost for a higher end keyboard.

    I like mine but it's kind of meh. If you set the actuation distance too deep to like 3.5mm with 2mm reset the keys tend to just double click for some reason. I think it's just the switches and the fact they updated it to have more range to compete with the Wooting. It's good but not quite on par with the Wooting. Quick actuation and being able to set up each individual switch is what matter. Also how does aluminum case defeat the purpose when no other case has aluminum case stock and cost as much as this does with the aluminum case.

    • @ama7erasu854
      @ama7erasu854 3 месяца назад +1

      About your last point, I think target audience of the drunkdeer is a cheaper option for hall effect switches. So essentially, competitive gamers or gamers who want some type of advantage. And currently, wooting has the best technology for hall effect. So if you got $180, getting the wooting is kind of a no brainer if you want the best technology. Maybe a few people prefer an aluminum case but since the general audience or consumer wants the best performance, it "defeats the purpose" for the general market.

    You are a real professional when it comes to keyboards. I really need the advice of a very knowleadgable person in keyboards.
    I bought the razer huntsman mini and then I heard of the woothing 60e.
    I want to say that I have really low experience with expensive keyboards but for whatever reason my vulcan roccat tkl feels nicer and more premium on touch - could be the back, the case etc, maybe its because its plastic and its more user friendly? than the razer huntsman mini. (i have the purple switches on my razer and no analog ones atm) - paid 120$ for it
    My question is, if I buy the woothing do you think it will be a change in percieved build quality since I head its made by plastic? Is it worth doing the upgrade? The most important things for me is performance and build quality. (woothing is 180$ in my country) - I am really sorry for the off topic but I think it helps you with the algorithm too
