      If you want oem widebody parts find a MOPAR DIRECT CONNECTION dealer, not just a dodge dealer, they MUST BE a DIRECT CONNECTION dealer. And you can buy all the parts!
      Don’t believe me tho here is the article! And Yes…. You still have to cut your rear quarters (also in the article)

    Lil tip on the plastic clips, the holes you drilled, take a tapered punch and basically dimple die the hole in, not a lot but pushing the hole in with the punch will help you clips pull the fender flare in tighter, I put bush wacker flares on my truck with a clip similar and they did sit tight to the body, try to figure out what to do it was a light bulb moment. I showed it to the 4x4 shop here in town and they were impressed and not it’s standard practice. Hope this helps. Great build, I want to do this on my 08 challenger and I want thank you for doing the figuring out for me, the is a burnt wide body in the junk yard I’m thinking about buying the front fenders ect

      Idk if you watch my other videos but in one of them I explain why. The vicrez kit is amazing for a regular car or a show car.
      Long story short - Racing the challenger was rough on the kit, the body twists bad and the flares were lifting.
      *Edit* after a year of abuse it DID NOT LOOK GOOD. It looked good on Instagram, but it did not meet my standard of good in real life. So I spent the money and redid it and now it looks 10x better. Oem parts are proven (Wesley Motorsports)

      - not including the upper and lower grills and headlamp bezels
      - not including front bumper side marker lights
      - not including about 60 clips (I already had some)

      @TIRADORACING  3 года назад

      Ultimately you have to weigh it out as it pertains to you.
      Mine is not purely aesthetic and I already risk my car out on track. So cutting the car to be able to run bigger tires outweighed cutting it….
      If it’s purely aesthetic I would trade up to an oem widebody car.

      I’ve explained this a few times, I cannot justify the cost of the rear bumper and lights. They don’t make the car go faster and if I get into an accident those are very expensive cosmetic parts.
      The interior is not changing either, it does the job. 6 point weld in roll cage, race seats done.

      @TIRADORACING  2 года назад

      It’s all up to the owner. I mentioned it somewhere in the videos I had already planned to repaint the car, the oem part offer from Wesley came at the right time.
      Also, trying to blend new paint on the front oem fenders and flares with the old paint on the doors and quarters was going to be hard. 12 going on 13 year old paint vs new paint.
      Plastic flare, metal fender and door was going to look like 3 shades of orange. The vicrez kit was also a different shade but hard to see on camera.

      @@TIRADORACING I plan on having a shop install it and want it to be permanent. Do you think glueing it would be best option? I’m not going to be lowering it so don’t want to cut fenders and I already have 20x11 -2.5 offset wheels for it with 305/35r20’s so everything should be good there.
      I’ve had my car 3 months now and only have 600 miles total. I do plan to drive it more once this COVID-19 stuff is under control little more.

      Glue is pretty permanent as you saw it took some effort to remove. But if your shop has a better method by all means let them try it!

      There’s a big difference bro the hand-me-down vicrez kits are garbage. Fat ugly flares that don’t arch with the wheels. Front end not matching up with the hood. Know your stuff. I wasted 1500$ on a plastic kit that looked terrible.
