Solid choices! Neural DSP and the new JST are killing it... I have all of those too lol. Also, if you haven't checked them out, Mercuriall and Nembrini have some great amp sims too.
What’s great about the STL Tones plugins are that they’re very mix-ready the Will Putney and Andy James plugins are both excellent. The Gojira sim is really insane. Love the old Neural plugins but some of them feels a bit old compared to that and the Cali. Mighty impressed that they were able to improve the plugin quality even more. I always loved Marshall amps so I think that Softube makes some solid stuff as well. You can get some real nice out of those if you’re into that type of amps.
I just played with this plugin today and did not realize all the artist presets it comes configured with. It’s absolutely overwhelming with all the presets, and I had a blast tearing it up with my Les Paul. I’ll have to continue the journey once my kids go to bed. As a parent, we dads need plugins badly because we simply don’t have other options for jamming in the house after hours.

The nolly plugin is like a swis army knife, I really like it for anything. Latley I tried out the Cory Wong plugin from neural dsp as a joke. Surprisingly got some great metal tones out of it HAHA! and they sat fucking epic in a mix! The neural stuff is INSANE!!!

I pretty much agree with this list! Only two things I would change is moving Granophyre and Nolly little bit higher and replacing STL Andy James with STL Will Putney.
Right now I’m debating between STL Will Putney and Neural Gojira. Have you played both and have opinions? The Putney bass tones are insane, but the Gojira seems more versatile. So hard to choose haha

Archetype: Gojira is for me BY FAR the best sounding and very versatile vst amp to date wanna use different companys but in the end i stuck withneural dsp nolly, omega, plini and gojira are simply amazing
I want to buy the gojira pack but i need to buy a scarlet first. My katana has too much latency using patches. Atleast when I tried the Stevie T free patches i just couldnt dial it out. Do you think you could possibly do a tutorial on budget connection and setting up to use these plugins?
@@iangarza990 that may be an issue with wood. No big tone change with woods, but better wood=better sustain. Mahogany is good. If you want active though, fishman fluence
I guess he is going with full scale suite style, because these Top 10s are rather tailored to beginners. Also, while I love the Mercuriall Euphoria, that amp does not really fit the style of Ray. But yes, for the bang of the buck, there are ABSOLUTELY INSANE options out there: Nalex Ninja, the demos (!) from Vadim Taranov, the RedTone is a beast. Vadims plugins are awesome for the tone they deliver, especially considering the price!
If you want sick ass effects in an amp go for a crate multiple effects amp they are really heavy and it's in real how powerful crate amps are marshall effects don't quite get as good as crate that is my opinio. Try them out peavy can't hold up to crate either. Mesa boogie I'm not sure never had one. But James hetfield swear by Mesa boogie and so does Kirk Hammett so I would trust those guys. Peavy multiple effects are awesome on the vipers. But crate bluevoodoo or crate glx 4×12cabnents are totally heavy for some ceepy crawling death metal! I'm serious dude.
