Tip #1 - Loosen your wrist 0:20
Tip #2 - Start your sketch with a light grade pencil 0:56
Tip #3 - Darken and add emphsis with a darker grade pencil 2:30
Tip #4 - Use the cross-hatching method to add shading 3:40
Tip #5 - Use a Q-tip to smudge 5:33
Tip #6 - Trust the process 6:13

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I last posted to this channel. Why? A lot of "life" happened ... In 2021, I separated from my long-term partner, went to live in Canada (my home country) for 3 months, then returned to Germany to move across the country on my own and basically start a new life. I stepped away from art, youtube and writing to work on my mental and physical health. Two years later, 50 lbs lighter and feeling stronger than ever, I'm ready to dive deep into my passions again :)
So proud of your ability to still stand and to seek a more empowering deserving life path.

i remember i was 11 years old when i started watching ur videos. i was obsessed and pretty much learned how to draw semi realistic faces from you. Since then i’ve found my own liking and now enjoy realism. i just want to say thank you and i will always remember Brushes and bunnies❤️❤️❤️

Your videos hands down taught be how to draw portraits! It was my new years resolution a couple years ago and by the end of the year I was drawing pretty good portraits.
