Use them a little bit, to enhance the picture, but that's it. For the look of this art technique rendering most of the volumes and surfaces in straight lines is the main focus. I’m so happy I found this video. That advice for “not using” curved lines comes in handy. Keeping the lines consistent and straight, depending on what you’re hatching makes the whole drawing so much better. You’re drawing was so good and your control over the pencil is great. I hope to get as good as you. Thank you!
Hatching is so fun,I made it apart of ky art technique as far back as Bleach the series coming out. Tite Kubo is known for this and inspired me to use it and I never looked back. Awesome video and explanation by the way. Came upon your video while wanting to just see how others do it besides me. Keep rocking 👍
