I just started practicing the Loomis Method, it's a little awkward for my brain because I'm not used to drawing in measurements, as I have a more cartoony style. your videos inspire me to keep learning new things :-)
At first I found the loomis method was a bit complex for me but after watching your videos you made it easy for me to learn and draw I love your drawing style very cool 👌 Thank you, your'e the best💯

I drew a drawing of Hobie Brown for the first time I actually succeeded at the facial features, tho the eyes are kinda big I think it looks alot better than older drawings I did

This is a modified Loomis method though. The two differences that stand out to me the most are that with the Loomis method you don't just guess where the chin will be, rather you figure out where the eyes and nose will be and then you have the context to find the chin; and rather than using the edges of the circle for the face, you actually cut the sides. It's fine to use a modified version though, most artists do, me included.
I like how he doesn't try to make an exact replica of the photo he's drawing. Not that theirs anything wrong with photo relealism its just that if I want a drawing to look photo realistic then I'll just buy the photo.

I made up my mind to practice doing digital arts so I could make my own book covers for my novels. Hence, it could help me with my future courses. However, I am having trouble deciding where I should start since I can't even draw simple features of the face. My friend suggested that I start with the basics: shapes and anatomy. I only have trouble with the cheekbones cause I'm always drawing faces similar to mine, my cheekbones are only really obvious when I'm smiling and I dont really draw people smiling as wide I do when my cheekbones are obvious That's the only part of the face I really have to work on learning for now, other than hair, hairs a nightmare, especially Miguel's
