Wait... This 2 cm guideline - isn't that HIGHLY dependable on the actual size of the head you're drawing and the base circle? It will have a very different effect if you add those 2 cm to a base circle that has a diameter of 5 cm compared to one that has a diameter of 10 cm. Under wich circumstances is 2 cm the right ammount of volume to add to the hair of your drawing?
Hey, so uhm I know this is kinda unrelated to the topic of the video but I have a burning doubt that I'm completely unable to solve. I understand that in the Loomis method, we're supposed to shave off the sides off the head to get flattened planes. The only problem, which is a big one, is: How do I know the width of that circle? I know what place I have to draw it, but if it's the wrong width the other proportions would go wrong too So yea. Does it just come down to intuition? Or..

Should generally be about 5 eyes wide. Two in the normal spots, one ine the center, and two on either side of the face.
