I literally cried. As mamas our babies are our biggest blessing in life and we get even more blessed if we get a supportive partner to Father those babies. 🥰 It may be painful but it’s such a fleeting and precious moment when we bring our little people into this world and I have never done anything in my life that has so wholesomely filled my heart like having and raising my babies. I’m due with a baby girl in 4 months and my first was a precious baby boy who is now 5 and nothing in this world compares, Thank You God for my babies. ❤️
When they say hold back, thats when you give your final push, your body knows exactly what its doing. Amazing 🥹🥹🥹 you did it 👏🏻🥰
Wow in absolute awe 🥹 currently waking up from a nap at 38+6 and feeling so pumped by this video, just knowing you had the strength to not only labour for this long but carry on after her arrival, wow ❤❤
After having 7 children myself,....girl i was curled up in a ball breathing, cheering and then in complete tears as you gave that final push for her arrival. Many Blessings to you all! You did AMAZING!

I’ve watched this about 4 times and made my husband watch it with me as I’m due in 5 weeks!! Found it so emotional and lovely! Nice to see like a real life UK hospital set up and just your routine and progress through labour. You seem so positive and upbeat even through the pain!! Hope you’re all settling in well now!!xx
This is the most beautiful birth vlog I have watched! You were amazing throughout the labour, Geoff was right to say you were an utter warrior, amazing! The flash back to finding out you were pregnant made me cry, what a beautifully thought out and edited video, made even more amazing by the fact your daughter wasn’t even a week old when you edited it, amazing! I was 8 days overdue with my second, and I just about had a mental breakdown over it. I had NO idea how mentally and emotionally hard it is to go overdue. I ended up taking the midwives brew and had him 3 hours later by myself in my bathroom, with my husband helping catch him 😅

Is this a hospital in England? Wow! The room looks so supportive of labour, most hospital rooms for birth look like regular sick people rooms and you have to bring your own things if you want natural pain relief , I am so happy for you that your provider was so supportive of your desires 🙌🏻🫶🏻

Wow what an awesome room set up!
You had a very wise approach to your birth plan. Hands off for the most part - just you and the child’s father working through each and every contraction as it came. Very smart to not get dilation checks every few hours - only when you had to. At 5cm you had a positive outlook to the rest - “only 5 to go. It’s nothin”. Labor, for the most part, up to the last 8-10cm + pushing, is MENTAL. I think this video should be a fantastic resource for moms watching preparing for birth. (I have 5 married kids & 16 grandkids - I have a lot of experience in this department of life😉) I know this was a year ago - but congrats on being a champion mother.

I agree, the tiredness was worse than the pain for me and it is so hard being out of control but you pushed through so well ❤. Well done to Geoff as well for being so supportive, not many partners get the credit they deserve, you could see how helpful he was just being there for you ❤️. Wow, I watch a lot of these birth videos, tons actually- and I always choose the gentle, non medicated, positive birth videos and even so yours stands out. Amazing stamina and you were so tough. but what really stands out to me is how patient you were both in how overdue you went without panicking and also in such a long labour. Well done for staying home so long too. I think a very large % of women would have ended up with induction and/or c section in your shoes. You were so informed. Huge congratulations. Your partner seems so proud and really should be. I bet your next baby will be a breeze btw…

Well done Jess, congratulations to you both. Honestly the tiredness made it so hard for me, waters went and contractions started at 10.30pm just as I got into bed🙄 2-3 minutes apart straight away. By midday the next day I just needed a nap and had an epidural!

I'm pregnant with my 9th baby and for this to be your first baby you absolutely did it like a pro!!! Wow. 36 hours is intense! But very normal for first babies. Especially when overdue we pay attention to every little thing. After 8 babies l dont even notice til they are 6 mins apart lol. But you did ABSOLUTELY amazing. When you were 1 min apart and in so much pain I wish i was there to help bc at the point you could have sat on the toilet or squated and it would have moved baby on down. The water is best that was a perfect instinct to hop in there! You're amazing mama!
