Nothing makes me prouder to be a woman than watching birth videos. You are the epitome of strength and courage and vulnerability and beauty. Congratulations to you and your family ❤
Thank you so much 🤗
Probably one of the most beautiful moments I've ever seen. Thank you for allowing your fans to be part of something truly magical. Great job, mama! 💜
Our pleasure!
I’m still sobbing. I had a natural midwife-assisted birth with my only daughter 21 years ago, but recording the birth experience wasn’t something that was done back then, and I experienced the entire thing with you for the first time since as I watched this, and it was so beautiful that I don’t know when I’ll stop crying. I know you didn’t do this for us, but thank you so much for not cutting out the most vulnerable moments because those are the ones that connected me most to the memories of my experience. You are an amazing CrossFitter Kara, but an even more amazing human.♥️
Thank you so much it means a lot to hear your kind words ❤️
I love the sentiment that you were able to experience it with her. I may never be able to carry my own child, so I feel blessed being able to experience this through her too. It was raw and beautiful and the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen. Thank you to Kara and Matt for sharing this with us. ❤ Congratulations to mum and dad. Welcome to the world, Walker!
@@jodeancorbett994 Thank you so much.
Watched this with tears running down my face, remembering bringing my three kids into the world with a midwife and my husband’s gentle and constant support. There’s nothing to compare to birth. Its beauty, its pain, its transformative power, its sacredness. Absolutely beautiful video. One regret I have is I don’t have videos. I was so focused on getting the babies out that I feel like I almost missed it since I had my eyes closed and was yelling my head off. Thank you for letting us experience our own stories through watching yours. Congratulations on the beautiful baby ❤
I am glad I was able to remind you of such a special part of your life!!! We didn’t get many with Scotti and I am glad we got this for her to see
The amount of mental strength to have an unmedicated birth is insane. Truly, women are warriors and capable of so, so much.
Good job momma!!! Enjoy those snuggles 🥰
They definitely are!!! Thank you
Currently 35 weeks pregnant and this has really given me unbelievable motivation. Thank you for sharing such a a beautiful moment. You did amazing! Congratulations mama!
You got this! Glad I can show you the positivity of birth
Hands down the most beautiful video I've ever, ever seen. Matty treats you so gently and lovingly.. So much kindness and love. When Scottie touched your arm... I couldn't stop the tears.. Sobbing. Thank you so much for sharing. Genuinely 💙 Wow. As a 46 year old Mom who had 2 c-sections, I have a whole new view & respect of what true, natural childbirth is. You're an extraordinary woman in so many ways. Congratulations 🎊
You are so kind thank you!!!
What is the name of the singer in that video?
This definitely made me tear up and ugly cry when Scotti was comforting you. Great job, momma!!! You definitely got me motivated to give birth to my second baby and remind me how thankful I am for my husband and daughter on how much they are their for me. Thank you so much for this, Kara and Matt.❤❤❤
You are very welcome and I hope your second birth is everything you plan for !
What an inspiration! I have 4 kids and had them all naturally. Thank you for holding space for all the women who bare this responsibility and for showing us how truly powerful we are. I never felt worthy to be seen as such a woman as you have shown here, but you make me realize how truly beautiful it is and how special it is to have the experience to feel your babies move through your body and to follow your instinct that brings them into this world. ❤
You are so welcome! And you are a super woman!!! Never forget that!
“It fxing hurts man!” 😂
This was so healing for me after my home birth last year. You’re an absolute warrior!!
It sure does 😂
Glad I could be apart of your healing!! ❤️🩹
Nearly in tears! So beautiful. I'll be 28 weeks, with our 4th, tomorrow.
I loved your doula's subtle touch on the shoulder, reminding you to lower them and relax your body. And I loved the gentle arm strokes, from your daughter. Then the sweet big sister moments at the end!! 😭🥰
12:55 this is the sweetest thing ever! What a beautiful experience for you all! Your strength through all of this was incredible too. I cried the whole way, but when you were nearing the end and you were like “come one bub” I started sobbing even more.
Thank you so much I am glad you liked it
I freebirthed my daughter in may 2022 after an awful hospital experience with my prior daughter, I plan to do it again sometime in the next few weeks give or take. It was the best experience and decision I ever made . For me it was exponentially less painful after having had an induction and it was so nice to be left alone after and not bothered with all the trivial things you deal with in the hospital. Congratulations he’s absolutely beautiful 🎉
I totally agree it was a similar experience for me aswell and I planned on going to the hospital this time aswell!!
Thank you so much
I am right there with you. Currently going through my first wild pregnancy and soon my 2nd freebirth. My first birth was in a hospital and never again will I do that. Freebirth is completely natural and instinctual and beautiful. Congrats to you and safe birthing!
@@karasaundojust curious, if you planned to go to the hospital, why didn’t you go when you were obviously in active labor? They say go to the hospital when contractions are 5 mins apart and lasting 60 seconds. You were definitely working hard during those contractions. What kept you from heading to the hospital then? You say you didn’t make it to the hospital but you really had plenty of time to go. Lol
I get the idea that she couldn’t decide if she wanted to go to the hospital or not and just chose to stay home.
One of the most beautiful moments posted on social media. Great job Mama!!!
What us women go through is truly miraculous.
Brings back all the memories of birthing mine!
Thank you so much
This had me in tears from the start, what a absolutely beautiful and very raw experience to share and I’m so glad you did! The support from Matt and Scotty my heart seriously! Thank you for sharing this special chapter of your life! Enjoy the bubble 💙
You are so welcome!
Ohhhh my goodness, Kara....amazing work. To share such a vulnerable video?! I'm at a loss. Mama....you're amazing, I hope you feel the love of your family and community ❤ congratulations on your new little one.
Thank you ☺️
This is so beautiful. I'm crying. Thank you for recording this amazing event, and for sharing it with us, Kara, Matt and Scotty. Welcome earthside little love xx
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 🙏
This was amazing. “Remember I told you Mummy would make weird noises because it’s hard work.” Incredible way to be truthful and not scare your daughter. ❤❤❤
What an amazing birth vlog. Scotti giving you those sweet little touches made me tear up. My daughter is 13 months and while we had a relatively quick and intervention-free birth I felt so out of control. I can't wait to have another one day and have her by my side, just like Scotti was for her strong mama
Thank you so much! It’s definitely very special having your child there for it
Welp.. I was able to hold back the tears until the 12:43 mark... you both have raised such a sweet young girl and I am so happy you guys let her be around for this process! You did absolutely amazing, Kara, and I loved seeing everyone looking out for you and being by your side every step of the way! I hope you do a Q&A and can share the comparison between your two deliveries! So happy for you and your family! ❤
Thank you so much and definitely something we can look into doing
Your doula has such a sweet soul. I can feel her warmth and comfort through the screen. So proud of you mummas, wonderful job xox
Thank you so much for sharing this, Kara and family! I’ve admired your grit for so so long. I’m 37 weeks pregnant now and have been following your pregnancy journey as it’s been pretty close in time with mine! This has given me so much motivation. I’m planning a homebirth with my husband and midwife. Seeing how you all navigated the process so beautifully makes me even more excited for this time to come. Thank you and congratulations!
You are so welcome! Good luck with your birth, I hope it’s everything you plan for!
So... how did it go?
Hands down the most amazing footage I have ever seen. I admire you even more so now than ever! Oh, and this could documentary video deserves some type of recognition. Congratulations you and Matty make beautiful babies!
Wow, thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
Impossible to watch this and not cry.
Giving birth is truly amazing. Awesome job, Kara and Matty.
What a beautiful moment for the two of you. Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much!
No perfect words, but this was beautiful! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of it! Scotty is a doll! Beautiful family ❤️
Thank you so much!!
Omg I started crying when Scotti was rubbing your arm and didn’t stop until the end.
This video is amazing - thank you for sharing this private moment, child birth is truly a blessing - whatever way it happens.
And… congratulations to you newest family members.
You're so welcome!
One of the most beautiful moments in this video is when your daughter comes up to you and starts rubbing your arm to try and give you comfort is the most precious thing!!
It sure is, I tear up every time! She is very special
I just cried my eyes out!! I love love love that you shared this! The whole process just shows how incredible and strong women are. You are an inspiration and this whole process is so educational for us all. Thank you for sharing this very special moment with all of us!
You are so welcome!
This was truly amazing to watch. It brought back my own labor memories, and I felt every surge with you as you vocalized through the pain. Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience with us. Watching Scotti interact with her new baby brother -- there's nothing better. ❤
Thank you so much! I am glad I could remind you of such a special time
Wow ❤️ thank you for charing this! This was so beautiful and strong and I loved every second! Congratulations to you all!
Thank you so much!!
I’m 51 and my first born just had her first baby - how amazing I still remember the experiences ( had 2 more) just like it were yesterday. It’s hard to reconcile how we ever can go through such a surreal experience as child birth and then do it again ! Such bizarre Pain - like an out of body experience, then Joy and relief when they are handed to you- beyond words!
I was in tears the whole time. Such an incredible beautiful moment. Thank you for being so vulnerable to share this. ❤️❤️
You are so welcome!
Absolutely beautiful Kara ♥️ Just felt the peace and love surrounding you and baby boy the entire video, beautifully filmed. Thank you for sharing 🫶🏻🥹Congratulations!
Thank you 🙏
Seeing Scotti being so caring and soft with you. Oh my heart. Thank you for sharing
So cute hey
Omg this was exactly what I needed to see today. I have 8 weeks left and this just brought back all of the emotions from my first time around. This was so beautiful 💜
You got this!!!
Wonderful!!! I think this is the PERFECT example of how capable a women's body is to being life into this world. Upright, self-determined, controlled, without any interventions or medications.
You did a FANTASTIC job, Momma!! Congratulations from a German Midwife ❤ I'll always want to assist homebirths, because they are so incredibyl powerful and beautiful. ❤
Soooo sweet. One of the first videos I didn’t “skip to the good parts”lol. You all did amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’m a pretty tough broad with a high tolerance for pain but man it’s hard to hear and watch women go through childbirth without epidurals. Kudos to you and congrats
Thanks so much ☺️
I am too but could never do this with out my epidural
Why would any one want to go through the pain of labor. Epidural's do not harm the baby. Just make sense to me.
I had 5 with no pain relief! Beautiful deliveries...just.have to have faith that you can do it 🥰
@@michelestumpf4992 there are many side effects to epidural. Mostly for mom, but they can cause problems for baby too. Epidurals can cause blood pressure to drop, requiring emergency surgery. They can cause spinal headaches, temporary nerve damage, permanent nerve damage, breathing difficulties, infection and even death. It's good to be aware and make an educated decision for yourself and your baby. I've used and not used them during my different labors, I don't judge anyone who chooses them but it is important to be aware that there are risks.
Wow you are absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for sharing, Matty & your doula held the space for you beautifully and you absolutely rocked it! Scotti is just the sweetest big sis too ❤
Thank you so much!
Labor and delivery nurse & crossfitter here🙋🏻♀️ Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable yet beautiful time with us. I love seeing natural births like this, especially with the high acuity we can have in the hospital. Congratulations 🤍
Thank you so much
That was beautiful. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 you are amazing, Kara and Matt! Thanks for sharing!
Our pleasure!
Such a beautiful video to cherish for years to come. Thank you for your vulnerability and willingness to share with us. Such a beautiful journey. Brought me right back to those moments with my two. Congrats to you, Matt and Scottie on the birth of Walker.
Thank you so much!
Those Scotti rubs/touches… ooohhhh my. 😭❤️ Just so special. I was so fortunate to have a similar natural labor/delivery with my second (my son)- even birthed him in the same position. Lol. Something about that position helped me get him out. Good on ya Kara, Matt, Scotti & Doula!! You are all amazing! Welcome baby boy!
Thank you so much
This is epic. Congratulations. I hope Kara gets all the rest she needs. This is incredible 👏🏾 🙌🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you
I love that you posted this. I’m pregnant with number 2 and I was balling. It took courage to post this. Shows your strength. You are amazing! I love you even more after this video.
Yes! Thank you! And I hope you get everything you planned for with your birth! All the best!
This is so emotional and amazing to watch. You are incredible and such a strong woman. The support you have from Matt is beautiful to watch. I hope one day I have the same support and are as strong as you are. Congratulations on your beautiful boy and your gorgeous family. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome!! You will be!
This was incredibly inspiring and beautiful to watch. You are amazing mumma xx
Thank you so much!!
Holy crap if this isn’t the best thing I’ve watched on the internet ever! 🥹❤️🫶🏼
You documented this for yourselves, just so perfectly, magically and beautifully … but you’ve shared it with us so thank you for being so vulnerable ❤️❤️❤️
I loved everything about the video. Matty captured all the little details so perfectly.
It took me back to my son’s birth and makes me want another asap 😂🤫❤️
Well done mama, you did it!!! And well done dad, you helped her do it!!!
Wishing you nothing but joy and love for your 4th trimester and beyond ✨
Thanks so much for your kind words! And I am glad I was able to remind you of something so special!
Congratulation’s to Matty, Scotti and yourself 🥳❤ Thank you for sharing your experience! Have loved watching all the things you did differently this time around. Had me crying from the start 😭 Have always been inspired by you but even more so now for educating women on the different pregnancy and birth experiences they can have 🙌🏽❤
Thanks so much!!

Wow, thank you!
My kids are 18, 26 & 32. I always wished I had the fortitude to have a natural birth unassisted. Your birth story spoke to my mother soul, the music was beautifully interlaced with emotion and timely. The journey is not easily retold. Thank you for sharing this beautifully sacred moment.
I’m in awe. It’s been 43 years since I gave birth in a hospital. I didn’t know how beautiful it could be. Thank you for sharing.

This is one of the most beautiful videos I’ve seen. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m 23 weeks, hoping for a more natural birth this time around and have a daughter about the same age as Scotti, so this has been an encouraging video! Really, really beautiful. Congratulations!

I'm so so glad that everything went so well. This reminded me of my labour, 17 hours of pain but what a REWARD it is once your beautiful baby is in your arms, cheers Tracey from Australia xo

Any workout is a piece of cake compared to the workout of child birth!!! I am glad I was able to remind you of something so special!

Most definitely
Incredible! You did it! Congratulations on your baby. You have one incredible family!
You are so kind
Beautiful 😍 I relived my own home birth 16 months ago by watching this. I’ve had traumatic first birth at hospital, only just making the hospital with my second and saying no way am I going near a hospital for my third and didn’t and it was the most incredible perfect birth of all with no medical intervention. Thank you for sharing Kara, amazing 🤩 I met you at Top Shop Byron one morning before you went public with pregnancy. You and Matty were super nice and authentic. Congrats to your beautiful family ❤
I remember!!! And mine wasn’t great the first one either! I am glad i could help you out!! Also from our research the midwives in Byron will come to your house if you guys are living there 🙌🙌
@@karasaundo yes there is a team of home midwives you can ask for which should be an option everywhere! This video will do a lot to help mums consider a home birth. women should be empowered and given the knowledge to aim for a home birth if they wish. The system is so broken and is all about fearing new mums into induction. I’ve learned so much between first and third and now a totally different mum in lots of ways but that’s the journey right with experience. My midwife also encapsulated my placenta… I cried when I got down to the last capsule! They are amazing for you and bubs. Enjoy! Xx
💙💙 you are incredible Kara, what an amazing family Walker has been given
Thank you so much
Thanks SO much for sharing how birth can be. I had a Freebirth this year too and it looked (and sounded 😂) so similar to your experience-pure magic ✨
You are incredible Kara ❤ well done and thanks again for being vulnerable and sharing to the world, all women deserve this experience.
Thanks so much and congratulations on your little one also!
Such a beautiful video!! Wonderful job by a true warrior. Congratulations on the new baby
You are so kind
I'm so proud of you!!! I cried multiple times watching this.. so beautiful, so raw ❤️ thank you for showing us that having an unassisted birth is perfectly safe and absolutely possible.. you're a warrior, mama
