When Liana was describing her thoughts on the operating table about how she would have been okay with dying now that she knew that babi was safe.. I literally teared up. You guys are so strong and I’m so glad that your family is together.
This as someone who also had a traumatic birth after wanting a natural home birth, has been such a comfort to me. I struggled for ages (still do) to come to terms with my birth of my boy. After watching other people's 'fairytale' births I honestly thought I was on my own. Thank you for sharing your story x
Same here. My daughter is 6 and this video just brought it all back. My husband and I discuss having her a sibling all the time, but I still feel that trauma and I'm just not sure if I can do it again! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You’re definately not on your own. Traumatic births are more common than fairytale ones 100%. A lot of women fall somewhere in between, but a lot of women have extremely traumatic births and pregnancies, they just feel guilty talking about it or admitting it. It’s okay. Hope you’re doing well mama.
@@ThatDataLady you have no idea what you are talking about. Statistics show that the likelihood of having the same sort of traumatic birth is relatively low
My brother and sister in law went through this emotional rollercoaster of nearly losing my sisters in law as her uterus and bladder both had ruptured during her BVAC attempt. She had an emergency c-section but the staff wouldn’t listen to her when she kept saying something is VERY WRONG. She waddled into the hallway screaming something is wrong and a doctor finally did an ultrasound and saw what was happening. Her numbed her right there and started cutting while they were wheeling her into the OR as he said they had about 3 minutes or less to get baby out or they would lose them both. They both lived but it was a terrifying time and it took months for the family to recover from it. I don’t wish that on anyone. I’m thankful for your medical team that was willing to give you the opportunity to try to have a natural birth, but stepped in and helped you through a very difficult delivery and post-birth period. Glad you and baby are safe but you did go through something traumatic. Take your time and heal mentally, emotionally and physically my dears.
This happened to my biological mother with me. First baby though. I was breech and footling and labor stopped completely (I’m adopted so this story is amazing to me. We met when I was 21). When the drs finally checked in on her after 12 hours I was in distress so they raced to surgery and I was born in three minutes. She was hiding this pregnancy from everyone so she had no prenatal care and was so I’ll she only gained ten pounds. I was 7 pounds 9 ounces. She even showed me the scar where I came out. Isn’t life amazing?
Connor definitely deserves an applause for making Liana smile during her painful contractions, and making things positive even though he is on the brink of crying. Liana and Connor are going to be great parents, congrats on the Babi! I cant imagine how hard it’s been, both of you are so strong and brave.
As a maternity nurse, birth is so traumatic. Don’t ever apologize for your trauma. It’s still taboo to talk about what happens in there. Especially in our sanitized society. You guys did great! Congratulations 🥳
Completely agree. I think anyone that’s going into birth has to expect it 1) to not go the way you want it too. I know you can’t prepare from trauma. And birth isn’t traumatic for everyone. I know I was lucky to have the experience I did but not everyone has that. My best friend had a really difficult time and it sounded very scary. She said she would not do it again. She was to traumatised by the experience
@@hollydaugherty2620 for some people birth does cause trauma not every birth experience is super traumatic but what some people go through is definitely traumatic not to the point the word means nothing
Just want to say thank you for all you do . I’ve had 3 natural births, but this last on July 29th was the wildest experience. My water broke at my regular dr appointment when he went to check my cervix so I had to go get induced and I only had 4 hours of insane contractions, I got one every time I moved my body and they were inconsistent the whole time but extremely intense. My labor nurse was AMAZING. Daddy was too but I think he was also 😳 about how it was going down . She really got me through the whole thing! I almost got an epidural just bc the doctor asked if I wanted one in the middle of an intense contraction, so out of complete fear and pain I said yes , she calmly asked me if that’s what I really wanted and I said no , and my daughter came so fast that she caught her! I will never forget her . This was also the first time I didn’t have my momma with me and she took on that roll for sure . ❤ thank you for all you do!!
@@hollydaugherty2620 the hell, plenty therapists and psych professionals use the word “trauma” as medical term. So yes, it is very such word that means something.
I’m so sorry it didn’t go to plan Liana. This shows the strength of a mother, how instinctual it is and how it instantly kicks in during labour because it sounds like you so bravely bossed such unpredictable and dangerous situations. It can be really tough to gather your thoughts and piece things together after labours like this so please take your time. I’m shocked we’ve even had this video so soon now knowing what you’ve been through. What both of you have been through, it’s hard for the Dads too! Take your time and continue to find the joy in baby boy, your life is now forever changed. Congratulations on baby boy being here and safe and congratulations on being a badass mummy ready to take on the world, because now you’ve done this, you can do anything. X
The fact that they both cried because they are worried and thankful for the other is so sad yet adorable it shows that they really care about eachother
@@Brandi-s7lheck yes that is a BIG baby. My son was 10 lb 5oz and the nurses were like “Wow Congratulations, you’ve had a mini football player” meanwhile a baby was born down the hall an hour later that weighed 12lbs 😵💫 can you imagine
"Liana was over there taking it as a boss and I was over there forcing myself not to cry because I was so scared" Their relationship is the best one I have seen online. I feel like a lot of women don't know the many ways their birth can go, when Liana said she was fed fairytales of how her birth will happen is so true how a lot of women have it. It's so nice to see both mom, dad and baby healthy and happy.
Most women don’t have a fairytale. birth. Many many women have extremely traumatic pregnancies and/or births, and many have births that fall somewhere in between. I personally haven’t seen many fairytale births in my time. But I understand telling yourself, and ob’s telling first time moms to be calm and it’ll be beautiful. I have never been the type. I tell moms the truth, to not be scared, but it might be very very scary, but we will take care of you. Honesty is important. I’d say probably 40% of patients consider their birth traumatic, especially those who have to get emergency c-sections with little to no warning and those who go into labor very early, but women seldom talk about it because it often makes them feel guilty to admit that they didn’t love how their child came into the world
I know I’m super late but this is like my third time watching this. Every time I do, I like Liana more and more, she keeps smiling, making jokes, even when she is in excruciating pain, it shows how strong she is.
Liana WAS BRAVE HERE - I love Connor & Liana but pls give her the credit till she went trough the pain while Connor only had to watch on the side, it’s not fair since moms already never get the credit & respect for the whole pregnancy/ birth experience!👌
my mom was in labor with me for three days as well. she always told me it was the most difficult thing she ever had to go through and now, watching you, liana, go through this makes me feel so much respect for my own mom as well. i cried twice during this video, once when connor was upset at seeing how much pain you were in, and another when liana said she would’ve gladly died knowing she delivered beautiful babi into the world. i’m so glad you three are all safe. babi is going to grow up in a wonderful home.
My mom was in labour with me for over two days, and I was over 10 lbs like Liana's Babi 😅 My mum says it was very very difficult, and she had pain relief as soon as her contractions got bad, so I can't image how much pain Liana went through. I can't help but cry when I see other people cry, so I feel you 😔
Connor needs a best boyfriend/dad award. The way he didn't want to stress liana out by crying, he stayed with her the entire time and everything else. Congratulations guys!!
I can’t believe how similar our stories are. My son was born on August 4th via c-section. I stopped progressing at 7 cm and the dr said the baby’s head was tilted and said we may have to consider a c-section. There was also meconium in my fluid. After trying to continue naturally for 3 more hours, the dr suggested a c-section again and at this point we decided to go forward with it. After he was out the dr said there was no way he was coming vaginally due to the position of his head. After my husband left with the baby I started having an anxiety attack while on the operating table. The anesthesiologist told me that they were almost done but then 30 more minutes passed and they were still working. After what felt like forever they were taking me to the recovery room and I was shaking uncontrollably, crying, and couldn’t catch my breath. I found out in recovery that I had hemorrhaged during surgery and that’s why it took so long. My mom and husband kept asking if I wanted to hold the baby but I was shaking so bad I was afraid to hold him. Eventually the shaking stopped and the anxiety attack passed and I thought the bad part was over. We were discharged on the 5th day but 2 days later I was in my drs office because I had an infection and my incision had opened. I started to show signs of PPD pretty much as soon as we got home from the hospital. Yesterday marked 4 weeks since surgery and we are still working on getting the wound to heal completely. This was not how I ever imagined the birth would go and it’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But we made it through and I have my beautiful baby boy. Thank you for sharing your story and making me feel less alone in this experience ❤️
I lost a lot of blood naturally delivering, and I was two weeks late, with my first according to due date. I shook tons I didn't know they gave me pitocin my first daughter took almost 15 hours, and my second she was a week early at only 6 hours of labor they said oh hunny we're giving you fluids, no no they weren't fluids well not the hydrating type anyway 🤣 I was terrified all of a sudden my body was no longer in my control I didn't get anything for pain with either girls but man I would have with my second had I known, what a nightmare but she's happy healthy and almost 7 now, these videos bring me back
About a year ago, I would've never expected myself to watch a youtubers journey through pregnancy and then watch a like, documentary about it too. But here I am, and I'm not mad about it. You two are some of the sweetest people I've seen, you two are perfect for each other and you'll be amazing parents. I know you didn't end up getting the home birth you wanted, but I'm glad that Liana and the baby are okay.
If you’re interested in someone else’s extperience, especially an older woman’s, I would watch Colleen Balingers journey with her son and miscarriage and twins
My mum lost her first child during a c- section. Even though it has been almost 17 years she can't talk about it. Now I know how she must have felt but even worse cause she told us that she tried so hard to get pregnant but lost her baby many times in the first trimester. I just wanna say all mom's are amazing and deserve nothing but love
That's like my mom she lost 1 of them during c section and gave birth to a dead baby and lost one a few day before it was supposed to be born and so the doctors had to operate to get the rest of the baby out, the 4th one she lost during pregnancy but after 12 years minus 2 years she got pregnant and now I have a baby brother and minus 2 years is because in 2020 mom lost the fourth baby
@@heartsfortokiohotell well included to the 4th baby the same happened my mom was in labour for 48 hr and nothing happened if she hadn't pushed to get my brother out both cude of died
I love how Connor said “we ha-“ and he corrected himself by saying “she has” when describing what she has been through. As someone with a really big pet peeve about people saying “We are pregnant”, this just made me so happy that Connor is still crediting Liana with the pains of the experience
What's wrong with, "we had a baby" It's the result of 2 people who love each other becoming one through their friendship and sexual union and creating something beautiful .
I was checking youtube and tiktok everyday because I was getting so worried. I'm glad that baby boy is here now. I'm sorry to hear what an experience you guys had. To be honest I would've had a breakdown too. So happy that you're all okay even though Liana still has to heal a little bit. So glad to hear from you guys!!!
The way she started crying bc of all that Connor has done really hit me. She is sad for Connor even tho she is in pain shows how much they care about each other. Love you guys❤️
The fact that Liana feels bad how much Connor is doing for her and Connor doesn't know what more to do shows how amazing the two of them are as a couple. Your babi is the most lucky baby ever to have you two as his mummy and daddy. Happy 1st Birthday Koazy, we love you so much ❤
I almost starting crying when she was saying she felt bad that Connor was doing all this for her. This shows how much she cares about him and how much he cares about her. ❤️
It really does make a world of a difference to have a supportive partner. My mom really had to do EVERYTHING on her own and I can’t even imagine.. I have birth yesterday to my husband and my baby girl and he has been AMAZING. An amazing father from start to finish and on and an AMAZING husband for the past 4 years. I wish everyone, every single person, could have someone like that. Connor seems to be in the same boat. Loving partners and rock star dads. I’m so proud of you and how you’ve handled everything Liana, with what you chose to share! Even though your birthing experience didn’t go exactly to plan, you handled everything, including contractions, like a champ! Much love towards you all and Gods many blessings!❤️
The segment with each of them talking one on one on the camera about how much they’re thinking about the other and how much they love one another is so heartwarming I can’t even
I started crying when Liana was talking about how bad she feels because Connor is doing everything for her. I also cried when Connor was saying how hard it is to see her in pain knowing there’s nothing he can do apart from be there for her. I also teared up when Liana was talking about how if something was to happen during surgery that she would be okay because she birthed their beautiful baby boy. Amazing story congratulations 💙
I have had 4 children. I am 31 years old. And I hemorrhaged with ALL four needing blood transfusions!! And iron transfusions! You are a strong mother. Your body is capable of more than you will ever know. Your husband is a good man and you have a healthy beautiful baby boy that you grew! Embrace your story pull out your strengths and find that happiness in your power as a mother as a woman. And be proud!!! Be damn proud momma!!! Because labor is no joke. Because surgery is no joke! Be proud strong girl!!
We have 8 kids. I hemorrhaged with 6 of them. Our first 6 were delivered naturally and the last one was born at 25 weeks by cesarean. I worked in labor and delivery for over a decade. I always tell women that a birth plan is great, but to also remember baby will do what it wants and if it is healthy that is the main goal. So many people get very upset if it doesnt go the way they have always imagined/dreamed it would. I will say a cesarean doesnt feel as satisfying (if that makes sense) but most of these things are somewhat common. Not fun, but happen quite often. No one should feel like it wasnt one of the best experiences of their life if a healthy baby is the end result. Going through that as a first time parent can be scary though. Especially if they only pictured it one way during the whole pregnancy.
I teared up when Liana started talking about how amazing and supportive Conner had been, and when he kept saying how strong and amazing she was. Of course bringing a person in to the world is a beautiful thing, but I find it even more amazing when both parents can come together to support and uplift one another to see their creation come into the world. Congratulations to you both! Sending my prayers to you guys, and your amazing baby boy🥰
I did this myself 16 years ago. We didn’t end up with a c section, I was in active labor for three days and I thought I was going to die. No matter how that babi gets here, as long as they are safe that is what matters. Healthy babi, healthy mama. Both of you guys are so strong.
What’s wrong with you all? Healthy Baby doesn’t mean healthy mom. That’s bullshit. Mom’s heath is important too. Not just the baby. I does matter how the mom feels, If she’s safe. Stop that shit.
@@vanillaxval what I meant is it doesn’t matter how that baby gets here, the most important thing is that the outcome is a healthy baby, and a healthy mom. And right now Liana is healthy. Yeah, she had a lot of super traumatic interventions, but she is alive, and doing as good as she can be under the circumstances. She very easily could have died, and her baby absolutely would have died if she had decided to stay home and try to push through what she was going through. She shouldn’t feed bad for having medical interventions that saved both of their lives. End of story.
@@vanillaxval … the mom being healthy is pretty much the mom being ok after the birth- no it doesn’t ALWAYS mean that the mom is greatly after the birth but it’s not bull
I've had two sons naturally and they were both so quick, that with one of them(can't remember which one), the doctors said I had ripped my uterus(or something) and I was bleeding heavily. They had to inject me(inside) with something that apparently stopped the bleeding. Both sons were 8 pounds something in weight. I can't even imagine going through labor for days, with little progress then having to have a C-section. And then with so much blood loss. I started following you after your baby came, so I am backtracking to catch up. You are both such a sweet and genuine couple. I wish your little family the best, and many blessings into 2023.
My mum went through this when I was 13 and I remember she almost died and I was so scared to lose her. She went through the c section in tears and almost died on the table. I still remember seeing her afterwards and feeling such relief, as much as we fight I never wanna lose her. I’m so glad you spoke openly about this to educate
Very similar thing happened to me as well, I was 13 when my mom had to have an emergency C-section, his oxygen supply was compromised greatly and was on the verge of brain damage, and we almost lost my brother. 2 and a half years later and he’s a happy healthy absolutely wild boy
The fact that she FILMED the entire thing while she was experiencing that kind of pain is truly amazing, sending love and prayers during this tough time ❤️
I had a very similar experience and I found it extremely difficult to talk about. You can request your birth notes, I read mine frequently during the first year. They can help you understand what happened, affirm your own memories and help to process the experience. My hospital also offered a birth debrief where the notes where fully explained minute by minute by the head midwife. I found that to be incredibly helpful. I also invested heavily in the idea of hypnobirthing and felt I was sold a pipe dream. You will heal physically and mentally, lean on your support network, vocalise your feelings often, cry all the tears. There will come a time when you can relay this story without having to relive the terror I'm sure you felt. Birth trauma is real, and a safe and healthy baby doesn't take away the trauma you've experienced. Sending lots of love and healing!
I wish I could award or highlight this comment. Liana, I hope you see this. I will be sending you good healing vibes. Congratulations on your beautiful baby. ❤️🩹♥️
Few comments here Connor- you are a shining example of support, love, care and your drive to do everything you could here was absolutely incredible. So much respect. Liana- you are incredible. I know your planned birth was for home but to just hear and see the difference In you after some pain releif and sleep in the hospital- you guys made the right call when u did. You did so good. So so SO good. I am so proud of you.
I’ve never sobbed as much as I did. When Liana lost it just talking about how she would have been okay going knowing she had delivered her beautiful and healthy baby boy, really got me. I am so glad both baby and Liana are okay now.
Omg guys I’m so sorry, the community post told us something wasn’t right, but we honestly had no idea what trauma you were going through. But I’m glad baby is safe and well, and so are mum and dad 💙 Connor was amazing during labour, and Liana was so strong and brave. Well done both of you and I can’t wait to meet baby!
@@misseselise3864 yep! I tried to warn them that this might happen, but when people get a birth plan into place they don’t like to differ unfortunately. Baby doesn’t care about our birth plans! My c sections were traumatic and they were planned. At least they have a healthy baby boy now 💜💜
I know, I’m not a birth expert, never had one of my own, but I mean let’s all be glad they’re ok. It’s just the way the community post said it I didn’t expect it I just thought they had to be transferred to hospital and no C section 😊
Liana describing how bad she felt because connor was so amazing, and when connor described how hard it was to watch Liana in such pain i started crying, because it was so amazing to watch how MUCH you love each other❤️❤️
From Connor letting his guard down and getting emotional to Liana talking about how her only thoughts were the fact that if she died the baby was safe, this was beautiful. Growing up in a house filled with children, I've seen births go to plan, I've seen births not go to plan. I'd definitely say this deserves a massive well done, you handled it amazingly. You're both absolute warriors, hope everything's ok with Babi now, take it easy you guys, we love you❤
I was recommended this video when I was about 9 months pregnant and I avoided watching it because I was afraid it would give me birth anxiety. I am glad I waited to watch it. I too had a similar experience in the beginning and had a midwife and planned a natural birth. Similarily, it was a 40+ hr labor and was not progressing well and hubby and me were exhausted. I related so well to you guys at that time. My water was broken at the hospital and I received Pitocin and it progressed from there and I was able to deliver naturally 🤞 Baby was much smaller than yours fortunately and positioned as he should. He did have severe meconium aspiration though and had to be on breathing support for a few weeks before we could get him home. All is well now 🙏 Beautiful video. You are amazing people and role models, parents. Congratulations and well done.
As a c-section and definitely late baby about to become an adult, I was moved by this as it shed some light into my own parents' experience and want to assure you that both baby and mum can get through this. You both seem to care so much about each other, I look up to creating a similar bond one day and I can only wish you and your family the best in future. Congratulations!
I labored for 36 hours before having an emergency c section. It’s not easy but you are so strong momma. Sending you all the love in the world, my son is almost 11mo now- it gets better ♥️
@@user-bw1xg6ye6i I can’t speak for anyone else but my labor was at a hospital. I was induced before my due date due to medical concerns and I labored at the hospital and ultimately had a c section.
@@user-bw1xg6ye6i if they think that it's safe for the mother to continue with labor and she is ok with it normally it's fine if they continue labor. It's honestly 90% Up to mom and baby LESS there's clearly a medical problem. My brother was 2 weeks past due. He was scheduled for normal delivery. Bt he quit breathing bc his lungs said he should be breathing oxygen now bt for whatever reason he decided to show my mom early on what a shithead he'd be. Bt doctors tend to prefer natural progress if it's safe to do so.
My fiance stated crying when Connor started telling us how he's feeling. I am severely disabled due to chronic pain. That helpless feeling is what he feels every few days when I have pain attacks. The fact you guys showed the reality of this helped not just expecting and previous mothers, but others also. Thank you and well done for being so strong throughout this. Congratulations on Baby
God bless you. I have chronic pain and chronic health issues as well but I’m single. I’m so glad you have someone as supportive as your husband and I couldn’t agree more with all you said. Having that support during something so scary is so vital for not only the physical pain, but the surge of emotions someone goes through during labor. It’s scary enough as it is having a baby (I don’t have any yet) and laboring for almost 72 hours but I can’t imagine the fear Connor was in being more alert than Liana, and Liana, YOU ARE A BAD ASS MOM!!!! My sister inlaw hemorrhaged when she had my niece and now she’s a rambunctious 4 year old and I couldn’t imagine what could have happened. I am keeping all of you in my prayers. I don’t know if you share the name of Babi in this video because I paused at 48:40 to reply to this comment but I can’t wait to hear the name and watch them grow up and the two of you being incredible parents 🧡🧡 Thats one blessed baby! I’m praying for your healing love 🙏🏻
Im also in my own health battle, started with pain, now my life is on the line, shes blessed to have him, my spouse left me in my ongoing trial, this was hard to watch due to my daily life, fears, struggles and suffering, i miss my son, i lost him due to my health, my birthing experience wasnt easy on me or my son, my health has never been the same nor his but i would never take it back, my son showed me what love was and is, never the same after u become a parent, blessed are those that have someone to stick by them during hard times, 9 yr complex battle for me now, chronic pain is rough, its taken a lot out of me since i dont do well on drugs, i pray and cry my way thru my days at this point, i pray for all of us suffering, may God make himself known to us and give us the strength to endure and peace, comfort and support to keep going, ❤
I thought of how my family felt because of the same thing. I've struggled with extreme severe chronic pain and health issues for a solid 5+ years now and I always feel guilty about how I must be impacting them but at the same time, it's so much harder to go at it alone. I've been in the hospital for over a year now - for the most part completely alone and I think that is the hardest part. I wish I had someone close to me to be there with me with the nights are seemingly impossible to get through. Stay strong
I'm sorry that you don't get your chilled home birth but I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for being so open and honest about the reality of birth and how everything can change in an instant. I guarantee that this video is going to help SO many mums and dads in the future and make them realise they aren't alone and it's okay to be disappointed or upset about how difficult..traumatic and upsetting labour can be! By being so brave and open about the reality of birth your bringing comfort to so many people out there who don't have the "perfect" birth and it's so important to show the other side because all to often we only get to see the picture perfect labour stories where everything goes to plan e though the majority of births are not as movies and media present it to be. Of course my heart breaks for the fact you both had to go through such a difficult and stressful life experience and would have loved for you to have gotten the relaxing home birth you had planned for. However this experience is son important to share and if more people showed the hard and scary parts people would be better prepared when things do go wrong. Hats of to you both again you dealt with a extremely painful and complex birth so well and I hope you are able to health from the physical and mental scars a birth with complications can bring you. I wanted to say to Connor he was an amazing partner and although he isn't physically experiencing the pain birth partners often take on a lot of the trauma when complications arise because they are fully conscious and aware of everything going wrong. The person in labour if flooded with adrenaline and exhausted almost in a semi-conscious state not fully aware of everything happening which in cases like this is often a blessing . I've had a large bleed before and I was so woozy and out of it I make me weirdly calm and not fully aware of the imminent danger and panicking amongst the staff. Of course the pain is horrific and the experience was without a doubt traumatic it was defiantly worse for the mainly watching as they could see the bleeding and the life fading out of me coupled with the sense of utter helplessness and wanting to "fix it" . For that reason I'm blown away at how well Connor dealt with the whole situation because it's absolutely terrifying and you have to put on a brave face for your partner and he handled it perfectly. I hope the both of you continue to open up about the trauma and share your feelings .. I've NEVER been more proud of two strangers and I'm in complete awe of how strong and healthy your relationship is 😍. Often men feel like they can't complain or have a cry about what happened because they weren't the ones physically experiencing the pain but especially in situations like this the birthing partner takes on a huge amount of the stress..trauma and emotional turmoil and it's complexly okay to be terrified and be upset about what happened after all Connor had to watch on for days unable to do anything to really help and then he had to watch as she was bleeding out feeling he had to be the one to hold it all together
I can tell how much Liana and Connor care for their baby boy. The way she said she’d be ok to go having the peace of mind that Babi was safe made me tear up. I can already tell you guys will be and are amazing parents and I’m so glad the Liana is ok! I was checking your channel every day like I hope they are ok. And I’m so relieved you are.
currently at the part where liana’s having contractions and her and connor got up to dance and i literally teared up. they’re so cute. you can see the love they have for each other. you can just tell they’re gonna be the best parents to their sweet boy 🥹
My mum went through a similar thing, lost 6 litres of blood with my baby sister (she had 5, 1 litre was blood transfusion too) and I remember the day so vividly. It is scary, I remember the panic and waiting working out the best thing to do. Her bleeding at home and then in the hospital. I was in school, the day she went in for the c-section so I was told about the blood loss part after. There’s a lot more to the story but I will say when I look at my sister and mum it makes me emotional at times, so strong and I feel sooooo blessed to have them both with me. My sister is now 8 and thriving and it’s part of my mums testimony too. You’ve done so well Liana and Conor! I pray for peace and comfort for you both right now as you navigate your emotions through this time and also being new parents! 😊
I lost track of y’all on RUclips for a while and just found this video. Cried the whole way through it. You both are so strong and have been through so much. Liana, you are a superhero. I am so so proud of you and your beautiful family. Much love to all of you.
I’m a twin, my mother had a similar story, however the hospital staff failed to identify the seriousness of the bleeding. I’m so thankful she is still here today, it’s actually her 50th bday! Be proud of yourself and enjoy life with your beautiful baby boy ❤️
I wouldn’t stop checking RUclips to see if you guys where ok and if babi was here. Never would have expected this. I’m so glad you guys are safe and ok. I hope your recovery goes well
Can we appreciate how strong they both are? Connor stayed up with her and did everything her could for her, and Lianna stayed strong the entire time and even laughed through her pain, they’re both so strong and are going to be great parents
When I was watching this and when Liana was talking about her experience and being able to be OK with the fact that she could die, but she was fine with it since she knew that her babi was safe, made me literally ball.
Liana has been so incredibly brave throughout the entire pregnancy, first off by deciding on a home birth for your first pregnancy, which may sound less scary to some people idk but I think it’s such a brave option. Then with the birth oh my gosh I’m just amazed and so so happy that everyone is okay.
My mum was in labor with me on and off for 1 week straight. She was supposed to have a home birth too but she ended up in the C section at the hospital. She told me that it was the most difficult but worth it thing shes gone through. She went into labor the day after her birth date and it took a week. I have so much respect for her and any person who's had a similar experience.
My son was 5 weeks premature and I started bleeding behind my uterus. I managed to deliver naturally, but passed out as they showed him to me. My husband didn’t tell me until my son was about 8 that he nearly lost us both that day, and as a man who could lay his hand to anything, how helpless he felt. I am so glad you’re all fine, and I and my now 22 year old 6’2” son wish you health and happiness. ❤️
I just adore how supportive and soothing Connor was through all of it. Especially how when Liana would get overwhelmed and his tone would change and he would speak softer to calm her or be goofy to get her out of her head and distract her. His literally the perfect pregnancy partner. He put his fears and feelings aside to make sure she got calmed down and kept safe.
I'm so glad that little babi boy and Liana are ok, but can we just take a moment to give Liana the praise that she deserves for pulling through this and also for Connor being able to be there for her.

I really hope she recovers completely..
@@misseselise3864 so? That’s like saying that someone’s not strong for idk, getting fucking stabbed and recovering like a champ after going through such a painful and traumatic experience because “they didn’t have a choice”. Most trauma (as a trauma survivor) comes without a choice. Although my trauma is extremely different than Lianas, she still had a traumatic birth. Your strength shouldn’t be diminished after going through a traumatic experience because “you didn’t have a choice”. That’s ridiculous.
Seeing Connor cry and talk about seeing her in pain set me right off! What a beautiful soul, both of you! I’m sorry it never went how you wished but I’m glad he arrives safe and wel and your all wel ❤️
When Connor started crying my heart melted😭 he is the best boyfriend ever caring so much for Liana! I’m so happy for the both of you!!! Well done to the both of you! You have worked so hard and I’m so excited to meet baby boy!!! Love you guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Liana, as a Mom of 9 and as a woman older than you, I can say that I'm proud of you! Connor is amazing and I'm so happy that you're alright and baby is here. Happy, heavy and healthy lol. I can also tell you that every birth is different. I did it 9 times and they all have their own stories and we have a family tradition that on their birthdays every year I tell them their birth story. ❤️ Congrats! Sending lots of love from the US!! Hope you start feeling better soon!
Only just clicked this and straight off seeing the pain in Liana's eyes makes me tear up, I'm 9 months postpartum and I remember it like yesterday, it's so heartbreaking when it hasn't gone the way you planned along with all the huge hormonal emotions. Look after yourself and congratulations on your little babi, you did incredible! X
The fact they went through all this but were strong for each other shows they are meant to be. Thank you so much for being realistic with us and still recording after so many hardships, can’t wait to see Babi!
i love that this entire comment section is filled with beautiful people sharing their stories theough labor and supporting connor and liana for what theyve been through. because honestly this entire video, and your family is beautiful.
My mum also lost a lot of blood during a c-section, and the doctors didn't handle it well at all they didnt listen to my mum one bit so i understand how scary it is and i'm so thankful to have her today. I am truly so unbelievably proud of you both for being so strong! Hope you are all doing great love you all ♥♥♥
This message is for Connor. Thank you for being so strong for Liana. I could see in the video a look on her face I’ve never seen before. A mix of trauma and deep sadness. She went through so much, and I guarantee she could not have done it the same way without your love and support and strength. Keep doing what you are doing. Liana- congrats on giving birth. I’m so sorry it was a traumatic experience, I couldn’t even being to imagine going through all that you did. We are all so happy and blessed that you and Babi are okay. Stay strong. Thank God that he took care of you, and know that you did not go out on that operating table because both Babis need you. Love you both. Congratulations. ♥️
After watching this whole video I finally realize how hard pregnancy actually is and how stressful and emotional it is for both parents in the situation. I’m so glad you guys were straight forward and didn’t sugar coat anything so that we can see how hard it is for everyone and how strong both parents have to be. I love you guys so much and you both are literally sooo amazing and are soooo strong! Can’t wait to meet little Babi, and I’m glad y’all are ok. Stop but I’m literally crying now😭🤍
My mum had the exact same birth as this with me, almost a replica. And as she was watching this she shed a tear as she never thought someone would have to struggle through the same thing as her, especially as she had the fairytale birth idea too and felt so upset at having this trauma yet joy that people couldn’t relate to .The fact that you’ve shared this, especially so soon after, really is amazing and will help so many mums and dads of the future. And I can tell you both now, that this baby will 100% appreciate all the love, pain, and tears that went into his birth just like I have. He will never ever forget ❤️ congratulations xox
I had a very similar birth to this with my daughter she was 9lb 7oz at birth (41 weeks) The hosipital refused to believe or check her position and had to beg for a c section 3 times her head was down but body was to the side it was scary but we made it in the end.
Connor is the best boyfriend ever. He didn’t want to sleep when liana wasn’t. He made sure she was okay at the slightest noise she made. Liana is such a champion. The bit about when she was talking about how she would have been okay if she died as Babi was safe brought me to tears. Even though she was going through so much she felt bad for keeping Connor up. I am so proud of you guys and I’m so glad liana fully recovered and babi is okay Thank you this is the most likes I’ve gotten 🫶🏼 Like if you know that Connor and liana are the best parents ever
Connor is literally going to be the best dad ever. I’m sorry the birth didn’t go as planned but you guys are doing great. Lots of love and best wishes from a fellow creator
I just can't believe how unbelievably strong you are especially for this being your first pregnancy. I hope you realise that you have become a inspiration to many women for your brave act. I am in tears right now trying to put myself in your shoes and thinking about how you and Connor must have felt. My mother herself went through a similar experience when she was giving natural birth in the hospital. And I just want to say that I look up to you. And I hope that your baby boy will grow up to realise what a warrior he has as a mother the same way I think of my mum. And the fact you said you would go through all of this again for the outcome is amazing. You and Connor are amazing!
Liana looks so beautiful in the intro, her natural beauty is stunning! She is so strong for how much she has been through, and Connor is and has been so supportive through this. Great respect for you guys! Please let them see this, I want them to know how much they are respected❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can we all appreciate how supportive Connor was when he was close to tears just broke my heart and how sad it was to see Liana in so much pain and how she would be okay if she died now that she new that babi was safe I have followed this journey since Liana told Connor she was pregnant love your videos and how much you support eachother
I’ve been checking your account two times or more a day to see if you have had babi because I was so worried that something awful had happened. I’m so tearful for you and the fact that you have done so well to get here and the fact you were prepared to die for babi and Connor was so beautiful and very meaningful and an insanely heroic descision you were prepared to make. I’m just so happy your here now and that babi is safe, beautiful and well. Stay strong both of you since you are amazing people and deserve so much for the pain, stress and anxiety you went through to get baby boy. Stay safe and we are always here for you. ❤️❤️
This sounds like an experience i had. I also had to had an emergency C-section, baby pooed in me and I also lost a lot of blood to the point I needed a transfusion. You’re already an amazing mum. You’ve been through so much and it’s not easy! Sending all three of you loads of love 💕
I'm so proud of them for honoring the mother's story separate from introducing babi. So often this is glossed over and then, like Liana said, people are fed fairy tales. I'm also so proud of them for taking time off from socials for the whole family, and especially Liana to recover. Birthing is beautiful, but it is also a major, traumatic event, even without the trauma of incredible invasive surgery. Good on you both for putting your needs first. I for one *can* wait to meet the little lad because I have so much respect for your honoring this recovery period.
She stood strong, she cried a few times, but with the help of everyone’s support she made it! She inspires us everyday and brightens me up when I am miserable. You are amazing Liana! We love u❤️😭 Connor, you stood patiently, was there to do anything for ur girlfriend (now the mom of your child), and was there to support her whenever it was needed. Both have u have taught everyone important life lessons and i hope you succeed to be an INCREDIBLE mother and father. ❤️❤️❤️
I never realised how much parents (especially the mum) have to go through to bring their children into the world we don’t appreciate it enough. We are so proud of you liana and please don’t feel pressured into posting take all the time you need what’s important is that you two are ok ❤️
From 31:35 to 33:00 Connor made me cry for how much he was kind to her As my old teacher used to say if you can choose to be anything in the world choose to be kind because you never know what someone is going through.
This video is so incredibly important when considering your vast reach to various age groups etc. Giving birth is no joke. It can be easy and quick but most of the time it’s so much harder than you can ever imagine. Things can and do go wrong all the time and I’m so glad you documented this. Wishing you all the best
Yeah, I don't understand people who say not to get abortion because childbirth is easy and you can just give it for adoption. Childbirth in most times is not easy
@@idontreadorreply yea, and there are many conditions that make it very dangerous and even fatal for someone to become pregnant/give birth. safe abortions are necessary for medical purposes, not just personal choice
About halfway through you guy's pregnancy, my mother had a tragic miscarriage. But knowing you both had your baby and all of you are healthy, makes me so happy. Congratulations on the new family member.
What a blessing that everyone ended up being okay in the end, when Liana posted that she was recovering and that things didn’t go according to plan this is definitely not what I imagined. I’m so glad you’re all okay, honestly it’s such a relief because I can’t imagine how terrifying everything must have been. Love y’all, I can’t wait to meet Babi and watch how this new addition to y’all’s little family impacts y’all’s lives!❤️
As soon as Lianna started talking about how she thought she was gonna die but that’s okay because baby is safe and is with Connor, honestly I teared up so much, what she said really got to me ❤️. You know that feeling you just want to hug someone and just congratulate them and just tell them how brave they are, that’s all I felt watching this. The clip where you met baby boy was just so beautiful✨❤️. I’m so happy for you both and I know you shall both be brilliant parents, baby boy is so lucky! Lots of love💕💕
As a fellow postpartum hemorrhage SURVIVOR, know you are strong and you here because of that strength. You ended your video saying you were at peace with “if this is your time to go at least you birthed your baby”. You survived because your mama instincts held you tight and you did what ever mother does. You held it together until it was safe to fall apart.
My mom almost died having me, I think it was bc I was bigger, I was late but also her placenta wouldn’t budge and so she kept bleeding out, if I remember the story right. She said that I almost killed her. Seeing this video back when you first posted it made me realize, she must’ve been so scared, if she was even understanding the severity. But then, I saw the look on Liana’s face as she said she basically felt content, bc she had at least delivered him and he was healthy.. I’m so glad my mom made it, and that you guys posted this, bc honestly, you gave me such a detailed perspective of how it must be for the parents as ones being born. I can’t wait to see my mom again, just remind her how much I love her for doing all she has since day one. Can’t wait to do it myself someday, despite the very difficult trials mothers have to go through to get there.
When you described how you felt that even if you passed, you’d be content knowing that you delivered your baby safely - that got me 💔 you are SO strong - both of you!

im pretty damn sure my mum had a tough time, im a triplet oops
You’re definately not on your own. Traumatic births are more common than fairytale ones 100%. A lot of women fall somewhere in between, but a lot of women have extremely traumatic births and pregnancies, they just feel guilty talking about it or admitting it. It’s okay. Hope you’re doing well mama.
@@taylorah6409 my suggestion is don’t. Your body is 6 years older, it likely won’t be better no matter what your obgyn says. I’d adopt.
Oh my goodness send 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 to your in-laws from me, how did they do that? It must if been so painful (>_

People need to use a new word. At this point "trauma" means literally nothing.

"Liana was over there taking it as a boss
and I was over there forcing myself not to cry because I was so scared"
Their relationship is the best one I have seen online. I feel like a lot of women don't know the many ways their birth can go, when Liana said she was fed fairytales of how her birth will happen is so true how a lot of women have it. It's so nice to see both mom, dad and baby healthy and happy.
Same great job liana your the best

I shook tons I didn't know they gave me pitocin my first daughter took almost 15 hours, and my second she was a week early at only 6 hours of labor they said oh hunny we're giving you fluids, no no they weren't fluids well not the hydrating type anyway 🤣 I was terrified all of a sudden my body was no longer in my control I didn't get anything for pain with either girls but man I would have with my second had I known, what a nightmare but she's happy healthy and almost 7 now, these videos bring me back
Wow, well done for getting through!

@@Baky_T agreed! love to all the strong moms out there💘💘
We have 8 kids.
I’ve watched this so many times and always cry at the bit where Liana talks About how grateful she was for Connor
connor couldn’t even bring himself to say that he thought liana might die. what a love the three of you share ❤️ congrats on a healthy mama and baby!
I cried at least 3 times through this video😭 both of them were so strong and amazing
I did this myself 16 years ago. We didn’t end up with a c section, I was in active labor for three days and I thought I was going to die. No matter how that babi gets here, as long as they are safe that is what matters. Healthy babi, healthy mama. Both of you guys are so strong.
No it’s not.
@@vanillaxval wtf??
I’m so sry🤕🙁🙁
Very similar thing happened to me as well, I was 13 when my mom had to have an emergency C-section, his oxygen supply was compromised greatly and was on the verge of brain damage, and we almost lost my brother. 2 and a half years later and he’s a happy healthy absolutely wild boy
I feel so srry for u!!!
My mom had a stroke and a c-section when she was having me and it almost killed both of us. I’m so glad me and her are both here today 15 years later
The fact that she FILMED the entire thing while she was experiencing that kind of pain is truly amazing, sending love and prayers during this tough time ❤️
Yes
yeah but i cant get over connor saying i KNoW I CaN bE a d**K
Yes
You are spot on I had a very traumatic birth too and with help and support you can talk about it and except what happened…
i hope she sees this
I wish I could award or highlight this comment. Liana, I hope you see this. I will be sending you good healing vibes. Congratulations on your beautiful baby. ❤️🩹♥️
Few comments here
Connor- you are a shining example of support, love, care and your drive to do everything you could here was absolutely incredible. So much respect.
Liana- you are incredible. I know your planned birth was for home but to just hear and see the difference In you after some pain releif and sleep in the hospital- you guys made the right call when u did. You did so good. So so SO good. I am so proud of you.
Connors crying at 33:00 is just heartwarming. The fact that he cares so much and worries … you guys are gonna be so good parents.
You are righ he dose care so much
That’s a good sign that he’s a good boyfriend and a good dad
Sorry that you are going through a very tough time. Connor is so sweet. I pray that he will marry you and make you all a little family.
I’ve never sobbed as much as I did. When Liana lost it just talking about how she would have been okay going knowing she had delivered her beautiful and healthy baby boy, really got me. I am so glad both baby and Liana are okay now.
Fr, that part made me lose it and I started crying.
Omg guys I’m so sorry, the community post told us something wasn’t right, but we honestly had no idea what trauma you were going through. But I’m glad baby is safe and well, and so are mum and dad 💙
Connor was amazing during labour, and Liana was so strong and brave. Well done both of you and I can’t wait to meet baby!
this was exactly what most people thought happened
@@misseselise3864 yep! I tried to warn them that this might happen, but when people get a birth plan into place they don’t like to differ unfortunately. Baby doesn’t care about our birth plans! My c sections were traumatic and they were planned. At least they have a healthy baby boy now 💜💜
I know, I’m not a birth expert, never had one of my own, but I mean let’s all be glad they’re ok. It’s just the way the community post said it I didn’t expect it I just thought they had to be transferred to hospital and no C section 😊
Aw literally bawled when Liana started to cry discussing that she'd given birth to a healthy baby boy. Tough momma! ❤❤
Liana describing how bad she felt because connor was so amazing, and when connor described how hard it was to watch Liana in such pain i started crying, because it was so amazing to watch how MUCH you love each other❤️❤️
The fact that this video has gotten over 1.5million views in less than a day shows how much everyone missed and care about Connor and liana
Yep
Indeed
And baby!

I’ve been checking there channel and shorts for almost 11 days now and finally babi is here!🥹🥰😍
From Connor letting his guard down and getting emotional to Liana talking about how her only thoughts were the fact that if she died the baby was safe, this was beautiful.
All is well now 🙏
Beautiful video. You are amazing people and role models, parents. Congratulations and well done.
I know you commented this 5 months ago but congratulations ❤
@@Rylee917aw, thank you!
Sending you all the love in the world, my son is almost 11mo now- it gets better ♥️
hi can i ask why you or them choose not to have a c-section or a normal birth in hospital but preferred pool birth at home?

Stay strong
@@MakeupJunkie0000 youve been in the hospital alone for a year?
@@sweetvictory3100 A bit more than a year now unfortunately

This just came on after the vlogmas today… Connor saying a “Booogie” It’s amazing your talking about another so quickly after what you went through!

@@misseselise3864 so? That’s like saying that someone’s not strong for idk, getting fucking stabbed and recovering like a champ after going through such a painful and traumatic experience because “they didn’t have a choice”.
This was really sweet...
Amen 🙏
I never realised how much parents (especially the mum) have to go through to bring their children into the world we don’t appreciate it enough. We are so proud of you liana and please don’t feel pressured into posting take all the time you need what’s important is that you two are ok ❤️
From 31:35 to 33:00 Connor made me cry for how much he was kind to her
As my old teacher used to say if you can choose to be anything in the world choose to be kind because you never know what someone is going through.
@@idontreadorreply yea, and there are many conditions that make it very dangerous and even fatal for someone to become
pregnant/give birth. safe abortions are necessary for medical purposes, not just personal choice
About halfway through you guy's pregnancy, my mother had a tragic miscarriage. But knowing you both had your baby and all of you are healthy, makes me so happy. Congratulations on the new family member.
i am so sorry :( but u are so sweet! stay strong lovely 💗
So sorry for your loss keep strong
Sending good thoughts to your family. Miscarriages are hard 😕
I am so sorry my mom has had a miscarriage before so I know exactly how you feel❤️
Im so sorry she had to go through that. She is so strong ❤❤
Whos watching this in 2024 ??
Samee

Just take a moment and think “I’m a mother, I’m a father.” It’s unimaginable, and you’re going to be the best parents ever 💞
They just need to get married.❤️I just can’t wait to see the video and them saying there getting married.💕✨Love them so much✨💕😊
@@lylahwithbliss yep, whenever they are ready. Y’all don’t need to think such stuff when the time comes they’ll marry.
Omg time
Same 🥹😭🥺
I did the exact same 😭❤️
As a fellow postpartum hemorrhage SURVIVOR, know you are strong and you here because of that strength.
I’m sorry but I agree and all but don’t mention she might pass away because she is stressed out enough
@@Sky-wh3ru she isn't saying that.
@@aebbingeable she is
@@Sky-wh3ru tayler is not saying Liana is going to pass away. Tayler is just saying what she thought when Liana Said that. Not that liana is going to pass away
@@aebbingeable oh ok
Liana is so strong, I can’t imagine how much pain she was enduring. Connor is so supportive and Loving. I can’t wait to meet Babi, you’re going to be amazing parents!!!!
Props to Connor. He is such a great boyfriend. He truly loves Liana and is so strong for her. Liana you are so strong and amazing. We are all so proud of you! Congratulations Mom and Dad!
They are both so in love with eachother. The care and the softness, they are so lucky to have found eachother
