Can we please take a moment to thank Abby for sharing this wonderful experience with us? She didn't have to, she had every right to keep it private because it is a very private emotional event, but the fact that she went through this while being filmed just goes to prove how compassionate and strong she is! We can wait to see lil dude grow up and you guys are going to be such amazing parents! ❤

Omg! I lost it when Abby said “I’m your mom”. I cried so much 🥺 Giving birth to a little human is so hard on the body but yet so REWARDING. I can’t wait for the day where I create a beautiful family. Abby you’re so strong and you will be an amazing mama. 💗💗💗

I’m expecting my first child in less then 5 weeks and I just bawled my eyes watching this cause literally Matt’s supportive words and calmness was just so wholesome and Abby’s calming voice talking to her baby was just heartwarming! I just can’t even. I’m so excited to have my little girl! Congratulations you guys are going to be great parents! You did great Abby! You are so strong. Why do pregnant women always feel the need to announce that they’re pregnant? Woman can get their point across just as easily without mentioning we are doing what we are made to do. I swear; the need for attention is bad enough these days. But the need to fulfill a pregnant chicks attention is just something I could never comprehend when pregnant or anytime after. It’s like you all just want affirmations or sympathy, which ironically, is more childish than it is mature and responsible. Sorry; not sorry.

Yes attention seeking is bad these days but nothing was wrong here, just congratulations and excitement oVer her own. Childbirth is a beautiful thing people should be able to share if they want. Honestly watching this at this point in my life hits differently. My wife is 7 months pregnant right now and we are doing our best to prepare for labor and delivery and seeing how supportive Matt was with affirmations and seeing the baby just made me weep. I'm so excited to meet our baby boy too, and we hope that all the struggles during pregnancy will be worth it!

They will be. A child is the best gift you can ever receive. There is nothing more precious and priceless. Cherish every moment you have with him, for they grow up way too fast, and you'll find yourself one day longing for the days when he was a baby and little boy.

At 8:05 when Matt tells Abby she's doing great, she says "I knew you were gonna be so sweet.. you're really good at this" and I found that SO cute ❤️ She knew he was gonna be by her side, supporting her every step of the way 🥺🥺❤️
I heard that, and felt emotional at that point; she was so beautifully calm & focused but was still able to be thanking him! Super-sweet to have filmed ! It’s such hard work, and they really were well matched as a team. To all the comments that Matt was tooo much, I say he was simply perfect for what Abby needed ! 👍ps: I don’t even follow them but RUclips algorithm got this recommendation right lol 😊

I also just watched this with my 9yo son and 5yo girls. They loved it! And they learned a lot. My son already knows most of this, but I explained what was going on as we watched, like what contractions are and what an epidural is. One of my daughters was worried when she saw blood on the baby's blanket and I quickly assured her it was normal and he is ok. Then she asked why the daddy has his shirt off and we talked about how great it is to have that skin-to-skin time.

This just popped up in my feed - I didn't follow them last year - and I'm crying! Abby did such a great job and so did dad...his cheerleading was so great. And, if she would have told him to stop, he would have but that's what she needed and it got her through. I wish this family many, many years of growing love and smiles for miles.

Everyone’s saying congratulations but I wanna say thank you for showing what it’s like to give birth. It’s really eye opening to see what a woman goes through during labor and holy cow… I understand more how painful it can be. I’ve always wondered that. But it also showed me I can over come any pain. Thank you for the video and I’m so happy your little dude is here!
Yes exactly I have given birth 6 times and every time is different , I think it’s great how they documented this and shared a very special intimate personal time. As a woman you definitely over come the pain. Women are pretty incredible beings.
I'm a med student and we see that here at least once a week when we have our postings. It is scary, not just for the parents but also for us because a baby fresh out of the womb is so delicate. But in the end the look on the parents' face makes it all worth it.
I bawled my eyes out. I don't know if it was how strong Abby was or how perfect Matt was with his support the whole time but omg I don't cry and now I can't stop. Welcome little baby to the world and your wonderful loving parents and the love they have for eachother will be the most amazing thing to grow up with. Congratulations to your family.

Every woman in labor gets agitated, for obvious reasons.
He was being loving and supportive, while he - most likely - wished he could do more.
I am happy for both of them that he was there, being Exactly how he was being while they went through the 1st hard part of becoming parents. 😍

Lol it really depends. I was literally just thinking how annoying it would be for me to have my husband talking at me and touching me while I was having contractions. The best support he could give me was to stay the heck away from me and he did it wonderfully.

I watched it with my husband, we’re 5 months in, and I told him that if he smiles and is vocally happy as I’m delivering I’ll knock him out lmao…I only want encouragement to push, no forced compliments or positivity. People are built differently, Matt and Abby probably agreed on this approach beforehand
@@giulia1603 and @C Mk I see where you are coming from by saying it was annoying which I get but he was just trying to be encouraging and helpful to Abby while she was pushing/in labor. Although he was repetitive he was just very excited and eager to meet his baby boy as well as try to support his wife while she was in immense pain.

I was 8 centimeters dilated when I got to the hospital, so I did most of my laboring at home and didn’t even know it. I got the epidural at 8 centimeters but I was so far into labor and it didn’t work. Matt, you are so supportive and loving. Ya’ll are the cutest together🩷!!!
This made me cry so many happy tears. I am 6 days or less from giving birth to my son. I have loved following your journey as I am not that far behind you. I can't wait to experience birth for the first time and this made me so excited it is so close! My husband is also Matt and I know he will be just as sweet and supportive! Congrats to all of you!!

I lost every baby and never got to hold mine in my arms yet Abba Father Blessed me with a beautiful new born baby girl in November of 2001.. through adoption.. thank y’all for sharing this bc I’ve never gotten to see a birth..
