MAN! NEVER work inside a microwave workout first discharging the capacitor! The high voltage and current coil KILL YOU INSTANTLY. And NEVER do what he did. Microwaves sometimes have two fuses - both cheap to replace. If one in the fuse holder is soldered in, then replace the fuse holder and replace the fuse with one of SAME amp and voltage and slow or fast blow rating. NOTE: the fuse blew FOR A REASON - the circuit drew to much current. ALWAYS install a voltage surge protector on virtually all home appliances because control boards are quite suspectible and expensive to replace.

Please when u want to make it (actually maybe me too)
    First :
    1. Unplug . Dont use it ehile running . Transformer contains high voltage but also current !!!
    2. Discharge capacitator. He can may be charged to 2kV !!! Unplug second fuse with something good isolate it . Than short 2 capacitator terminals . Be careful zo not touch it .
Just be sure the capacutator is duscharged . There can be more problems than blown fuse - but when the microwawe cant be turn it on its propably the fuse . Also dont use improvised fuse . Than check the door switch . It should be clicking (i dont really know how to check the switch just saw some video) .
Most of information is from channel
    DiodeGoneWild
No add - no hate zo this channel

🤔hmm, I believe the 2nd fuse had blown off (in the plastic case) and you replaced by modifying it with a fine wire of the same resistance. Should the fuse wire blows it will burn the casing in which it is encased. You should at least wrap it with a heat resistant or fire proof sleeve

My turn table was not spinning, so I took the motor apart and fixed it. Later, the door switches were arching and blew the fuse as a result. So I picked up someone else's microwave oven that was on the curb being disposed of. All of its switches and fuses were OK and were the same as mine, so I replaced my dud parts with these. Total repair cost, $0.00.

    • @new-knowledge8040

I bought my oven as a cheap 1.1 cu ft stainless steel $45 "DEMO" oven. But, it turned out not to be a demo after all, but was a partially dead oven. The keyboard only half worked. Rather than go through the hassle of taking it back and sorting this all out, I took it apart and cleaned the keyboard strip connector contacts, and cleaned the keyboard connector contacts that were located on the controller board as well. I then reassembled the oven, and bingo, it was working 100%, and it still is working today many years later.

      Hi @@DanielH :)
I will check it for secondary fuse but I doubt it since I remembered checking for all possible fuses as secondary. The magnetron might be the culprit I suspect that is the most probable cause of not heating. This was brand new then used 1 time only for heating a whole chicken after that usage of my schoolmate here in the house its not working anymore and has been stocked for a year. So I checked it and replaced the fuse lately and it has light and turning. When I try to heat it a food no heating occurred. Thanks

Where is the warning saying that microwaves contain high voltage parts
They can be deadly even when unplugged, unless handled correctly
Unless you are a qualified expert, don't attempt to get into its inner workings. try heating the water of glass.. if it's not heating then it has a serious problem. buy you a new one

    • @Mo_998

No you don't need to be an "expert" you just need to know how to discharge the capacitor which is very simple. If you can't do something as simple as that you probably deserve to be electrocuted.

What you would like to know? My microwave was working but no heating, so I changed that fuse you see in the video. If you don't have that second fuse, then the problem is somewhere else. Thanks for your commnt.
