There's nothing at all wrong of her to reap personal benefits from the free advice she's been giving out. The previous video where she promotes her book for a minute, is well-deserved, and her putting all her efforts into creating a product that backs the medical advice she gives & promoting it, is also perfectly valid. People can't always expect free medical advice and free stuff, while she puts so much effort, research, and study references into all her videos just so she can help a few people lead a healthy life, while also tackling misinformations out there. If we're being real, she could've just been like "if you wanna know how to tackle sugar increase, or reduce weight, or become healthy, just get on a 1-1 call with me" from the beginning. People need to be grateful for what they get instead of being whiny.

I have to wonder if this is one of the key major improvement from the Mediterranean Diet. The use of Olive Oil is always encouraged and many people use vinegar mixed with the olive oil to heighten the taste. Since eating vegetables (salad) to start the meal is common and this is one of the hacks, it seems the two together would increase the effectiveness.

The amount of acetic acid that the human body can safely consume without causing health issues can vary depending on factors such as individual tolerance, overall health, and existing medical conditions. However, it's essential to note that consuming large amounts of acetic acid, especially concentrated forms like vinegar, can potentially lead to adverse effects on organs and overall health.
For cider vinegar, white vinegar, and balsamic vinegar, the concentration of acetic acid can vary. Typically:
Apple cider vinegar: Contains approximately 5-7% acetic acid.
White vinegar: Contains approximately 4-7% acetic acid.
Balsamic vinegar: Contains approximately 6-7% acetic acid.
Consuming small amounts of vinegar, such as a tablespoon or two diluted in water or used in cooking, is generally safe for most people and may even have some health benefits, such as aiding digestion and promoting satiety. However, regularly consuming large quantities of vinegar or ingesting concentrated forms of acetic acid can potentially lead to gastrointestinal issues, tooth enamel erosion, and disruptions in electrolyte balance.
There is no specific recommended maximum daily intake of acetic acid from vinegar established by health authorities. Still, it's generally advisable to consume vinegar in moderation as part of a balanced diet and to avoid excessive consumption to prevent potential health risks.
If you have concerns about your vinegar consumption or its effects on your health, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

@scpython1 don't brush your teeth immediately after consuming anything, especially not acidic foods or drinks. Your teeth will be in a state of demineralization, which means that the enamel of your teeth become soft and prone to erosion (especially erosion from brushing). Always wait at least 30 minutes after eating before brushing your teeth, so as to allow the pH of your mouth to return to neutral levels. After consuming something like vinegar, or eating anything else, really, just thoroughly swoosh your mouth with water to help neutralize the pH faster.

Some foods that have acetic acid, which allows you to skip the acetic acid drink on a particular day: TOBASCO SAUCE - I pour 1 Tsp on my nachos; jalapenos preserved in acetic acid - I use 2 Tbs of sliced jalapenos on my nachos + sprinkle 2 Tsp of the preserving juice on top of the nachos. Use either one on separate days. I've been drinking lemon juice in water first thing in the morning for many years now, in the beginning mostly to help with digestion and acid reflux (which is actually due to low stomach acidity). And it helped amazingly - no acid reflux or digestive issues now for many years.
I could never tolerate ACV (or any other vinegar) until about a year ago, when I started to add just a teaspoon to my morning lemon water.
That was ok... so I gradually increased the amount.
Now I have about a tablespoon of ACV in water in the morning, usually still with lemon juice (because I like the taste), and that works well for me.
I didn't realise that it was a hack for reducing glucose levels - that is an extra bonus!

And this is the main point. It may help for one thing and damaging another in long term. There are not enough studies in order to claim that it is 100% beneficial with no side effects. And while lemon may have less effect, it is much more healthier for your body.

I had menorrhagia in my perimenopause days and ACV stopped the flood. I took a lot of it, but it worked. It's a miracle. It also gives me energy.

Glad to hear that, how was it taken? One table spoon with hot water? just one time a day every day? or just select days? What brand? Your response will help many suffering from menorrhagia, thank you.

I also squeeze a half lemon to mix w/ the vinegar. Counterintuitively, it seems less acidic than the vinegar alone.

I'll try that but I take lemon juice in tomato juice instead of water.

I'm into the third year of my paleo journey, low carb diet and exercise. Plus my evening 🍻. After dropping 30 lbs I've been at healthy 210 lbs for two years ➕.
Acetic acid is the final product of ethanol metabolism. Plus 2X gym strength training makes my muscles soak up more glucose?
    My A1C is 5.2, triglycerides 44, HDL 109 all improvements from a year ago, then 5.5, 54, 98...
That's what I heard, another path to metabolic health plus 🍻? I'm the luckiest 68 year old man ever. IMHO 💪👌

you want practically free vinegar? just keep all the scraps from any fruits you eat like apple peels and cores, keep them in the fridge until you have enough to fill up a jar, then top it with water and let it in room temperature to ferment, it'll turn into cider first, then will oxidize into vinegar. Then you can enjoy it. The best thing is that besides the acetic acid, you are also drinking the live cultures that are so helpful for our microbiome

I have been OK with the acv, but decided to try one of your recipes. I didn’t really want to make a frozen drink so I pulled three mint leaves from my plant, and put them, some cold water, and white vinegar into a smoothie blender. It was so refreshing and I couldn’t taste the vinegar at all. I’ll be making this in the morning to bring to work from now on. I’ll try ginger next.

the same when you eat sour fruits ,the acid reduces absorption of sugars up 40%. compared to normal sweets. I think that other acids presented in fruits can slow down glucose spikes like malic acid ,citric acid . .We live in abnormal reality and we have a different diet than our ancestors.
