HiGh Guys What might be some suggestions for my lower 5th Metatarsal. Below the Jones fracture which I may not have. My l/foot is at 30degrees and I feel like i am walking on the tail of the metatarsal. A possible problem is the fact I wear medical grade footwear, the bootmaker has failed to accommodate the ankle foot orthotic. This is where pressure exists. The bootmaker reckons he is unable to scour out the inside of the boot to take up the AFO bulge. Is the bootmaker not thinking straight? Should I not have the 5th Metatarsal scraped to concentrate on the boot? Cheers Dave
Is this neuropathy? Feels like my feet are cold but I’m finding now that’s not it, as wearing socks doesn’t change it. It’s a cold stinging kinda burning feeling like as if I had rubbed my feet on concrete or like I had been outside running barefoot! It’s not a pain really. And I don’t think it’s numbness. I can feel touch. It’s just that exact burning feeling like you’ve been playing outside or your feet have been exposed to snow stuck in your shoe or something. Like they’re cold and need to be warmed up!
Not to mention my left calf is missing hair and it’s been like that for 5 years and doctors say it’s just random hairless and has nothing to do with vericose veins in my feet which are big too

I have excruciating neuropathy in my toes… I can’t sleep most nights because of it. I was prescribed Gabapentin but I had to stop because I was becoming an addict to it.
Moral of the story is eat right and do exercises because I’d give anything to have this pain gone. 😢

Hi
HiGh Guys What might be some suggestions for my lower 5th Metatarsal. Below the Jones fracture which I may not have. My l/foot is at 30degrees and I feel like i am walking on the tail of the metatarsal. A possible problem is the fact I wear medical grade footwear, the bootmaker has failed to accommodate the ankle foot orthotic. This is where pressure exists. The bootmaker reckons he is unable to scour out the inside of the boot to take up the AFO bulge. Is the bootmaker not thinking straight? Should I not have the 5th Metatarsal
scraped to concentrate on the boot?
Not to mention my left calf is missing hair and it’s been like that for 5 years and doctors say it’s just random hairless and has nothing to do with vericose veins in my feet which are big too
I have thoracic spondylosis and my doc says it finest cause neuropathy but I’m positive it does when I sit in a certain way . So who knows
