Beautiful shot Kevin! I also got to see what time it arrived. Hawaiian is the prettiest of the domestic carriers. That livery looks good on a 787.
Finally a good looking Dreamliner. Overall not a fan of this aircraft but Hawaiian livery is very pretty.

If you were anything like knowledgable you`d know the A330`s EIS was faultless compared to B787 & its still providing comfortable, safe, & reliable service to many airlines all over the world.....ask Delta who keep buying it for a reason.
@@edwardwilcox6606I don't care what it looks like, do you? It could be white with nothing but black block letters for it's name and tail numbers. I just don't want to fly on one that's had issues that have been ignored for 2 decades.
@@angiemanges7945 Hi, I guess I like to see a nice livery & have always been a fan of Hawaiians`s but I wasn`t questioning the B787`s safety. Admittedly it had a terrible EIS but Boeing did introduce many new technologies with this aircraft, so I think they could be forgiven some of the problems. It`s been unfortunate that it`s continued to have other issues but I believe they have worked hard to address them & I`d be happy to fly on one. My reply really was to a Boeing fan-boy who felt compelled to talk garbage about the A330 when everyone knows what an excellent aircraft it is....except him :)
I wonder if the lady on the tail is an homage to the flight attendant they lost years ago in an accident
Leina'ala Ann Teruya Drummond, Miss Hawaii 1964. She was a flight attendant for HAL and was selected as the face of the airline. She recently died at 77 years. Gracious lady.

Beautiful plane, but doesn't make it safer than any other Boeing 787 Max 8, Max 9, or the 777's. Just ONE DAY PRIOR to this a Boeing Hawaiian airlines 777 flight from Hawaii had to make an emergency landing at SFO due to total engine failure in one engine when they were still 270 nautical miles from SFO. Lucky for everyone on board it can operate on one engine for an unspecified amount of time. Surely almost everyone on here knows about that incident?? Boeing needs to get their $*** together. Shiny, gorgeous Boeing made planes should not be on anyone's mind right now. Their history of minor incidents that could have turned out to be major is quite alarming to say the least.

We saw this bird in Kona airport on the Big Island a few days ago and this awesome plane was flying around the island for practice.
