You should add that you 100% need the Kies thin wall socket (or similar product). The videos that I watched before didn't mention this. I started with number 6 and got all the way to removing the plug until I realized this. I couldn't figure out why my 14mm 12pt socket couldn't get seated onto the plug until I did a Google search. I had to button everything back up and order the specialty socket.
Plugs weren’t to bad I’ve had my 340 Since 8k Miles been fbo on e40 since 15k miles and I’ve changed them about 2-3 times already just testing gaps and stuff , turns out best thing to go with under 700 crank hp is just stock gap didn’t see any timing corrections on stock gap, hope to see the trans and diff fluid video , I’m working 45k miles and have my kits waiting to do it, I’d love to see your video on it first 👌🏽
My g32 b48 2018 had Champions heat range 4 and I replaced them with NGKs 8 which are 1step hotter than Champion. I was afraid of pre-ignition, so I replaced them back with new Champions. But now genuine seems to be the NGK. Do you have any idea of this?
Dont do it! If your car is made to work with a certain heat range, then you have to keep it like that. Ford does the same, they go 1 step colder one year and and than a smaller electrode distance the next year. In the end, the car runs completely rotten, with the new type of spark plugs that are prescribed. They test the spark plugs during the making of the engine for days, the replacements that comes later are only checked for a short time. They then find out later through customer experiences that the car becomes sluggish, and then they start prescribing something else. If your car runs completely fine with the current oem spark plugs, keep it that way. If you do plan to install a different brand, make sure the electrode distance and heat range are the same like it came from the day it came out of the factory
@Scotty Kilmer thanks for your quick reply. I ran 2K km with them and feeling was so good, but the ceramic of the plugs remained so clear white, so I decided to get them back to the Champions.
don't get me wrong, ngk spark plugs are excellent spark plugs they perform extremelly well. But some engines reacts to this spark plug in the opposite way, and than you car becomes rough and sluggish. If the NGK spark plugs prescribed by the dealer would have the same heat range and the same electrode distance, I would say buy them! 100%
@@ulisesvazquez8675 yo! Check out FCP Euro’s explanation on Genuine vs OEM/OE parts on their site. They have a great explanation of why identical parts may have different branding or no branding. They are the same coils from the same factory, they just don’t have the same branding. You can also check the product page of the coils I got from FCP Euro: “Eldor coils do not come in Eldor branded packaging as Eldor does not have an aftermarket sales division. This coil will come in a white box or box with BBT Technologies branded on it. The part number on top of the coil in both cases will read "750-990012" or "R1705S00100" with a production date/time stamp underneath.”

Wrong , NGKs 94201 are better
How many miles do you have on your car?
50,045 when I did spark plugs. I’m at 53k now and about to do trans service.
