Note that, since filming this, Dinan has confirmed they are "using the same manufacturer as their sister company, MSD" to make these. So take that for what it's worth.

Have had these on my b58 (supra hpfp, downpipe and e40 tune) for about a week already. No noticeable gain didn't expect any when I purchased them, just bought them since the car just hit 50k miles. The price is a steal right now.(side note logs look the same as my eldor coils)

I also ran into ignition issues on Audi/VW platforms when getting into high boost. Converting to those "R8" style packs did the trick for me. Thanks for the info because I've been thinking I'd need to do something similar on my B58.

Yep, same exact thing I was referring to. Meanwhile my wife's CC had stock coil packs at 100,000 mi no issues.

@@kern417 what do you think about my situation: I have a 2018 M550i Xdrive with 48K miles; BMW just did new plugs. Should I upgrade to new Dinan coil packs too?
I’m throwing in two brand new K&N filters since it’s been almost a year with the first set I bought. Should I put new Dinan coil packs too or are the stock coil packs still good at 48K miles? Thanks buddy.

I bought these for my F22 N55 M235i purely because I wanted the red color to match my theme under the hood. I’ll install them when I change my spark plugs at 60k miles. Still have 8k miles to go.

Just got these in red for me N52. Got new plugs and had three different brands of coils so who knows, better performance maybe.

I have Bosch coils. They seem to be working great. I haven’t heard of these being hit or miss. Are people getting bad batches out of the box and running into ignition issues?

If they look rusted I would replace.
I have blown my engine twice now
2020 m8 just grabbed dinan coils,
Says they have a higher output vs stock

Just bought these for the N52. You may wonder why...
Sure, I like the blue color, no I am not buying it for that 10% number. These coils are pretty much Delphi coils, cost the same. The difference I like is the way it mates to the spark plug; the contacts seem more secure which could be the difference in misfiring on a coil that still works.
I'll catch you guys in 100k miles and see what happens.

@@suspect3539 everything gets weaker over time but it takes a very long time for them to wear out. It's like replacing tires when they are half worn. Sure a new tire can work better but you have plenty of life in the old one too.
