I picked this bad boy up the day it came out. This is the only case you will need. Doesn't add bulk, adds as much protection as any thin(ish) case.... And customizable..... Kind of tough to beat. Great review.
Awesome video! It's definitely a nice case but I can't do a case that doesn't have a clear back. I mean I bought my S22 ultra in green because I love that color so covering it with a case just makes it seem pointless 😅
@@IkesTechTalk it just seems pointless. Now if we were talking about the S20 ultra that only came in black or grey and cost $1,300 that would be a different story 😅
I've always loved Dbrand cases aside from my others. The button rockers are on point where it doesn't need any force to press to make the button function. On the side note, I love their teardown skins.
@@IkesTechTalk I currently have the ICONS one on my 12 pro case. I bought a tear down one for my AirTag and my Mom thought I it was broken so she bought me a new AirTag 🤣 I'm rocking the "Something" skin on my S22 Ultra case.
O yea the grip has edge protection for sure. Plus the top and bottom edges are raised quite a bit so when you lay your phone face down none of the screen touches the surface you lay it on
I do wish there was a little more of a cutout for the S Pen. I can get it out with very short nails like you but it's a lot more difficult than doing it on my Spigen cases. The Spigen ones aren't as grippy, though.
This is a really nice case. I like the texture, look and drop protection. It works with screen protectors and camera lens protectors. The unboxing experience was better than the s23 ultra. Which is just embarrassing for samsung. I'm still pretty pissed about it. Excellent product though. D brand makes nice stuff and worth the price.
Not sure about the ESR part. But as for the sheath, yea I like the grip better. Those loose sides irritate me a bit. It's still good and most won't notice it. But when your used to what they deliver for the iPhone and you get what we got for the S22U, caudabe gotta step it up a bit imo
@@IkesTechTalk Yea, I ordered the grip a week ago and they are really dragging their ass shipping it, I'm still waiting. I do like the feel of the sheath even with the flimsy sides.
Lol 😂I figured a lot of people would. Can’t lie heart skipped a beat but I’ve had worse drops with the grip on. It’s probably one of the only cases I trust to actually drop it like that
Is it annoying to put it in your pocket... im asking cuz thr case looks really grippy and im using a silicon case and its a pain to put in and out of my pocket
@@IkesTechTalk This is what I wanted to hear LOL. The dBrand is good on the Pixel 6 Pro but man it is pure 🔥 on the OnePlus 10 Pro. I will have to pick this up for the S22 Ultra.
I don't think there is a sticker or ring that will work thru a case. Anytime I've ever tried, the magnets have never been strong enough to actually hold

Absolutely love mine. My favorite case for the S22 by far
its good they got the skin to sit perfectly flush this time round, its the little details like that make or break that premium experience.
Exactly! Honestly why I stopped using the leather skin in the first place. They killed it with this case though

Lol o yea I definitely hear you on that one. I got the white and hate covering it up

Personally never tried the teardown ones. I've always stuck to the black matrix or leather. Might have to give it a try

Thank you for this video !!
Is the case protect the edge's ??

I ordered a grip case and the something skin for my s22 ultra last thursday, hope it ships soon, would love to have it before the weekend.
Love mine, probably my favorite case for the S22U
Thanks…I enjoyed your review. Blessings on your day 👍🏻
Yours as well thanks for your support

100 percent agree with everything you said here 😂
Little better than the Sheath?
Wonder if the ESR camera protectors would fit with the grip case camera cutouts?

@@IkesTechTalk So, what is you favorite S22 Ultra case so far?
DBrand grip. Caudabe sheath is a close second

Same, and idk what's up with them I've had simar experiences with them where it seems like it takes forever for them to ship
I cringe when the phone hit the edge of the side of the sidewalk lol. Good video bro.

Honestly no never have a problem putting it in or taking it out of my pocket
Can you go without a skin? Or can you create custom ones?
You can go without a skin. Idk about custom ones. They have a ton of options though
@@IkesTechTalk thanks!!
Great video bro
Appreciate the support Eazy!!
I got that case on my pixel 6 pro
Dbrand kills it with the grip.
Yep I need to get it for s22ultra
Yup for sure I actually like it more on the S22U than the Pixel

Yea they killed this one. The grip normally makes the phone feel a bit bulky and wide. This doesn’t have that effect on the S22U
Wow, you don't see your wife enough? LOL. Good vid.
Anyone using a magsafe sticker inside the cass with this?

Can I send you the product? It's stronger than yours. A storage box.
