    My first Leonardo Momento Zero was the 2020 Dutch Pen Show version. It has a lot of sentimental value because one of the organizers of the Dutch Pen Show is a kind couple named Chaïm and Christine. During the pandemic, they sent my students fountain pens, and I will always appreciate their generosity. I have the new Momento Zero Grande 2.0 Galattica Universe, and it is a lovely design. Thank you for your video presentation. Take care.

    The KWZ ink with the marble bottle was gifted to me as a birthday present. It is kind of funky, but I am able to get the ink out with no problem. I really appreciate it❤

    Oh dear, this is a brand I do not have in my collection! Beautiful resins! I think I like the Magico the best because green is my favorite color! Thanks for sharing!

    My Leonardo collection has been growing over the last few months. They're one of the most comfortable writers for me. I have the Sand in the MZG 2.0 model with a fine cursive italic nib and just love it. It is the perfect neutral!

    Yes, Lori. Collecting by brand will get you hooked for more acquisitions. Early on, I only browse limited & special editions, and pull the trigger with certain colorways. That way, I don't go broke in this hobby of ours. I tend to lean towards Pilot, Platinum, TWSBI, Lamy, and Kaweco. For inks, I am enjoying PI Asagao & Yamaguri. Leonardo, perhaps a Momento Grande Zero or Magico model.

    Love the green Magico pen. Very pretty. You hold your pen with your thumb over your first finger. I have my thumb and first finger both on the pen with a little space between. Funny how people hold their writing instruments different. Like the purple pen and ink also. Your pens are beautiful.

    I love your idea of using a brand exclusively for a set period of time. I might try this in a different way. I think it would be especially good to rediscover some pens that I have not been using for a while. Thanks for the tip 😊 You’ve started with one of my favourite brands that I can’t get enough of! I love their specials on their site.. they are just stunning pens. One of my favourite Leonardo turned out to be the Audace line. Especially the ones with the #8 nibs are amazing writers. I also got a special #6 nib with the Nagahara grind. İt ‘s just glorious! But my absolute fave is the Pen Venture exclusive Dodici Midnight pen with #8 nib. This one is a faceted model they tried out at the end of last year and I sure hope to see new versions coming out this year. And I hope to be able to get one their eggshell urushi pens this year as well. İt’s one of the 2 pens that I have my eye (and money on when it’s the right time for me) in 2024

    Hey Lori! I believe that PM1 Leonardo is a grande 2.0. I noticed those were shorter than the regular grande in some aspects of the pen, which was so interesting, because I thought only the window was the difference! And you have so much more control and purpose of your Leonardo purchases! I just buy them because I love to collect the exclusive editions in color ways that I don’t already have haha! I should really try to get a furore to increase the uniqueness of my collection.

      Thank you so much for clarifying Lao! I LOVE your Leonardo collection. It's YOUR brand so I understand why you go toward the exclusive stuff. You are such an amazing Leonardo resource! I always learn something new when I watch your videos. With that said, which one should be my next Leonardo (dutch pen show aside, lol)??!!! Thanks for watching!

    Beautiful collection! I would like a Leonardo, does anyone know of shops in Pisa or Naples, Italy that sell these? We hope to be cruising there next year and I’d love to purchase one while there. I think it would make it even more special.

    I wish I could get more info on whether they will ever get their Momento Zero Giada Jade in Silver trim back in stock. They are completely out of stock everywhere, even the company’s website. And they haven’t responded to my email inquiry.

    You have a fantastic collection! The people at Leonardo do a great job with customer satisfaction and the care they give to their nibs. I have an early MM in matte black with a fine nib, which I adore; classy, reliable and with a great flow. A MZ is on my horizon one day although I'll go for the EF this time; your green algae is simply spectacular. I second your point of view about the etching on the barrel although I feel it is limited to Italian pen made in Naples like Leonardo (i.e., Maiora and Gioia). I have to admit that the thing that keeps me looking away from Leonardo is the shooooort clip! If you were to actually keep it in the pocket there would be a LOT of pen showing... 🙂

    • @timewithtata8004
      @timewithtata8004  5 месяцев назад

      Interesting, I've never thought too much about the clip, but it is on the shorter side! Thank you for watching!

    So you have influenced me, lol. That sand momento zero grande was so gorgeous I had to go ahead and buy one with a fine nib. It'll be funny if it arrives at the same time as my white Estie (I have to wait for Esterbrook to get gold needlepoint nibs in. If my impatient self knew this upfront I would have just ordered an extra fine).

    • @timewithtata8004
      @timewithtata8004  5 месяцев назад +1

      Oh my goodness! You are going to LOVE the Sand MZG! My Estie arrived last night and I can't wait to ink it up! I'm impatient too. My friend Karyna has a 7 day wait period between the time she sees a pen and buys it to make sure she still wants it! ...I think my wallet would benefit from that strategy! lol!

    Good evening Lori, thank you for the video, I love watching yours and learning about all the different pens and the features you look for in them. Do you have some websites you could recommend for someone looking for a pen, or maybe a lot of pens. Lol I’m specifically looking for the Leonardo Momento zero alga seaweed. Green is my favorite color and I’ve had my eye on that for quite a while. Looking forward to the next video.

      I got the one from Goldspot. I’ve been watching that one for sometime. It has a broad nib, which I don’t know if I would like. But it looks like the nibs are fairly easy to change so worse comes to worse I can change it. Anxious to get it probably next week.
