Oh well Scotty kids are 10 times safer in the back of that GM than in your 94 celica. That's why I drive a full sized half ton I have young kids. That and the traction with all the weight in the winter storms up north.
You can only get rear vents in the new design lol 2019 or newer. That and they centered the steering wheel and made round wheel wells instead of square. I think I'll keep my dodge.

@@phil-1115 He likes the old rigs like my dads 1970 GMC pickup that had the infamous 307 motor. Lots of power, thin cylinder walls, pretty much guaranteed the motor to be rebuilt at 50-60k miles. Then the cylinder walls were so thin that if you did bore them out they'd get hot and ruin the thin walls. Best thing you could do with those was to run it til it blew up and then replace it with a good motor like the 327. That is what we replaced ours with after it had gone through Three different 307 motors by 1986

@62guitarguy, The only vehicle that I have ever owned with no A.C. was the 68 and it didn't have one from the factory. I have owned many GM trucks and cars with well over 200K miles and all had working A.C. I even owned a 79 Ford Granada once and the A.C. worked on it too. I have been a Master Tech for a long time, and I, or tech's that I have worked with, have repaired A.C.'s on just about every make and model on the road. Part of the trick is who you are. I buy the cheapest new Silverado work trucks, they cost about the same as a lower end car (upper teens, lower 20s). If you use a truck as a commuter car, that's the best idea.
Most guys who traditionally buy high end trucks (theoretically commercial vehicles), are able to write them off on their taxes. I know a guy who buys a new Silverado each year (he owns 2 at a time, for his company so every year they trade 1 in), and trades them in at the 2 year mark, when they each typically have 250,000 miles or so.
When it's a tax write-off, it makes a lot more sense. Obviously office workers can't justify the expense unless they're well paid.

Not at all uncommon to see 15-20 year old vehicles driving around today. Look at pictures from the ‘70s and you’ll very rarely see a car from the 1950s.
