Not that it matters now, but the name of the hospital ship that was in that drydock was the U.S.N.S. Comfort...I know...I was one of the security guards making rounds on her when she was also there back in the late winter/early spring of 2012. It took roughly 40 mins to make the rounds on that ship. We had to do things like crawling through manholes and on ladders to get to the ships floor, and to get to the "Detex locators." There are seemingly endless stairwells. The engine room itself is huge. I got lost the first time I was in it. She was getting welding, duct work, and exterior paint back then. Lot of work involved. I got to meet the captain of the ship too! The name of the company contracted to perform the work on her is Boston Ship Repair. Just thought I'd pass that along.
In the event of a screaming baby a plastic dry cleaning bag will drop from an overhead compartment. Place the bag over the baby's nose and mouth. Everyone else in the cabin can exhale a sigh of relief and continue to breathe normally.
David We’ve all had it happen to us, myself included. Not their fault the change in air pressure hurts their ears. Take some ear plugs the next time or learn to live w/it
It always amazes me at how quickly those 738's can rotate. Great video!

up those power plants... Boo, to those that say the taxi is too long..

There was this one time where I took off in Boston. I had an amazing view, too. When I take off from sjc airport I’ll take a video of me taking off.

Never have I seen a plane taxi on another runway to get to its takeoff runway.
Damn...I thought they were going to drive the whole way!!!
Fast forward to 12:15, for the actual air time. Four fifths taxi time, one fifth actual air time (3 minutes). And as a nice bonus, a vocal infant.
