Going from San Jose to Las Vegas at night is absolutely crazy. It is just a beautiful view. I came back from a five day trip from San Jose and we had a fight at night because we missed our 4 AM one so if you look out the window and you’re above Las Vegas. It is absolutely beautiful.
Love ❤️ the sounds of the engines when starting
Southwest has always been my favorite domestic airline. I've flown on SW from San Jose to several different places (including Vegas), it's a fun, pleasant airline on which to fly. Nice, easygoing flights every time, and the staff go out of their way to be helpful with every aspect of the flight. Southwest is a very comfy airline experience.
I love it vids from departure to next destination
Those engines! The sound of raw power!
Beautiful view of Red Rock Canyon W of Las Vegas at 18:29
That's just a fantastic display of a downwind, base turn, and final!
i love when the plane takes off
Your VIDEOs always bring relaxation to everyone, very interesting, thank you for sharing, have a safe and fun evening. God bless you
Thank you!
What a light landing. Beautiful view of the city and valley. Best I have seen. Thanks
Great job on capturing passenger perspective! Your videos are really immersive.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful flight as well as the clarity of the film here....especially over Vega$
Another home run Luna! Great takeoff and landing on my favorite L/H wing! Vids get better and better!✈️
P/S Great thrust reverser action!
Thanks for watching! I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
What a beautiful plane 😊
go southwest!!
Beautiful clear day in Las Vegas. I live here and a lot of times the air is hazy and smoggy. It takes a good breeze to blow the smog to LA where it belongs.
Yup it was very nice and clear!
I was on a southwest flight to Las Vegas to but it was the canyon blue one... I’m pretty sad that I wasn’t on that flight. 😢😢😢
The canyon blue livery is still pretty nice!
Las Vegas has one of the longest runways in the US, second only to Denver. Probably because it gets so freaking hot here in the summer. Today it will be 110F.
26R is the third longest behind DEN and JFK. Heat is one factor---the other is the high altitude which also makes the air thinner.
@@frankgrimesification We'll have to get out there with a tape measure because there's conflicting data. According to Wikipedia McCarran (LAS) 8L/26R is 14,512 ft. which is one foot longer than JFK and comes in second to DEN. But then another Wikipedia site has them identical in length. But I could see LAS putting in that one extra foot just for the hell of it, why wouldn't they? Also LAS is only 2,200 ft. elevation.
Awesome
Thanks for wattching!
Southwest 009 ayy found u

I feel like the landing at McCarran is a lot less steep than the landing at Mineta, I don’t know but that’s just what it feels like
I’m pretty sure it is!
I usually depart from this airport when I go to Houston Hobby!!!!
Plane landed long. Perhaps pilot not use to midsummer temps at Vegas and fought the thermals over the threshold. You will notice the long taxi back to his gate, while in the background another Southwest plane is already off the runway after landing behind him.
Luna what is your favorite airport for take off and landing? My is MDW and LGA because of short runways that pilots must brakes immediately after touchdown!!!😂
No thrust reduction at all, instead increased thrust during climb. Interesting lol. Do you happen to remember if they reduced it at all?
I'm pretty sure they reduced trust shortly after I stopped recording.
What do you use to mount your camera when recording? Thanks.
I honestly just hold my camera up to the window.
Lunadog99 gotcha! I traveled more than I usually do this past month and I finally started recording the take offs and landings, per my sons request and I did the same with just holding the phone while recording.
did u have to book 2 separate flights from kansas city to hawaii
Yes
What camera did you use?
iPhoneXR
Xplane 11 realistic graphics
They didn’t land yet!
